Jake was very informative and patient when answering all of me and my wife's questions. He took his time to explain in depth any red flags or reassurances with concerns we had. We really wanted to make sure we were fully informed with moving forward with purchasing this house and we are happy to say we feel comfortable, informed, and knowledgeable about what future improvements would need to be made to keep the house in good condition. We got to see the sewer line scope, thermal scanner, and every step of the inspection. I cant recommend enough, anyone looking for a home inspection company should move forward with grand home. Absolutely phenomenal.

We had a great experience with Grand Home Inspections. We were able to schedule an appointment the day after the request and we had a two-person team with Justin Ploof in the lead and assisted by Hunter Skeels. They were both incredibly professional and thorough. We had good back and forth discussions and they patiently went over every question we had. I would definitely recommend working with this team. They gave us the peace of mind to move forward with the transaction with a clear understanding of any issues and their context.

Detailed report that was classified into urgent problems and non urgent problems by color coding the issues found on the home inspection. Photos were very helpful. Verbal report was also provided in person. Inspectors were very clear and patiently explained the problems found in layman terms anyone could understand. Thorough inspection.

Trent Gaboury-Norman from Grand Home Inspection did the inspection on the home I am buying. He was very friendly and informative for a first time home buyer. I went into the inspection not knowing what to expect and when I got there he explained what he was doing and what he still needed to do. He asked many times throughout if I had questions. The report was very detailed and thorough and provided clear information on what needed to be fixed/changed to bring it to code.

As first-time home buyers, we were able to feel confident to move forward in the purchase process after GHI performed their inspection. Chris was fantastic—he showed up early, was super friendly, and extremely detail-oriented. He came fully equipped with advanced tools, including a FLIR camera for imaging breakers, wiring, and mechanicals, as well as moisture detection equipment to check for water damage in key areas. He worked room by room using a specialized app to document everything with photos, videos, and notes.

Compared to a previous home inspector I used, Chris was significantly more professional and thorough. The main office is also great—they can coordinate via text, which makes scheduling and communication so convenient.
