We've hired Construction Services of West Michigan, twice. Once was a huge job after we had a house fire. The second was a much smaller repair job after snow damage. Both times Rich's crew did quality work.

Kind courteous and fast. Bryce and Nick were very informative very professional. Came on a Saturday and got the job done. Highly recommend them.

I met Cody, the mitigation manager, through a mutual connection in real estate. During a consult with him on real estate I proposed a problem of mine to him. My toilet seal broke causing damage in my master bath and basement. He was out the next day. It was a longer process, about 4 weeks, start to finish. I ended up having them do a full flooring renovation for me. Highly recommend their flooring team too. Very pleased with the result. Cody was quick to respond to my requests. Always same day.

I would highly recommend CSWMI. Following huge water damage to our home I felt completely overwhelmed. Carl assessed the damage, submitted the claim, and helped me find wholesalers that enabled me to get the high end flooring choices I wanted. Every person sent to our home to do repairs was skilled and professional. The communication, scheduling, and follow through was exceptional. The job was completed thoroughly down to the last detail. Carl and his crew were professional, detailed and took a great amount of care to keep the job-site clean. Communication was fast and clear and Carl went above and beyond in order to help me navigate the crazy world of insurance and construction bids.

Had a flooded basement during nasty winter storm this year. Initial consultation was great. We were walked through the insurance and clean up / tear out processes as well as what our options for repairs to our home would be. Subsequent crews were all timely, clean, and respectful of our home. Craftsmanship was great too - would recommend this organization to anybody, but especially those who have had an emergency occur! Very responsive!

After a large portion of siding on the north side of my house was blown off in a storm, Rich and the team worked with me and my insurance company to repair the damage and give my house a whole new look. Rich Smith kept me informed every step of the way and was very helpful with providing options for me to choose from. I’d definitely recommend these folks if you need work done on your home!

Initially Casey was very responsive to me and any questions I had. He was also very professional and to the point. I appreciate this form of communication. This was until insurance did not want to pay what was requested of his company, then he went MIA. I understood his concern, which was quality of work with the material the insurance company agreed to pay. Casey even no showed me for an appt where I rearranged my schedule to meet him. His response was "I didn't receive an email from you", b/c he and I had discussed me reaching out to my local insurance agent to see if he would help secure funds for the higher quality job. One would think you would confirm an appt or an email if that was what you were waiting for instead of just not showing up. I tried calling and of course I went to voicemail. I am a reasonable person to work with, if you don't want the job tell me I will move on. Normally I would have to call 2-3 times to receive an answer or a call back after he realized there was nothing I could do to increase what insurance would pay. Ultimately Casey told me due to the recent tornados his company was looking at a 3 month wait. This really devalued me as a customer as I had expected to work with this company from the start due to his initial responsive time. I understand things happen and there are many variable in this business however, my job had been on the books since late June. My construction job was relatively easy for a company; flooring, seal a hole in the ceiling and hang some drywall. Maybe 1-2 days. I would not recommend this company.

This is the most professional and friendly group of people I have ever worked with. We have had 6 of their employees involved in our water damage repair and they were all amazing. They even let our 4-year-old grandson "help" measure things. I highly recommend this team of qualified professionals.

We are so grateful for Casey and his team. We had a leak that spread from our main floor to the basement back in November. Everything in the lower level needed to be replaced due to the water damage. Casey effectively communicated every detail of the project and was flexible with our requests. A space we rarely used is now one of the highlights of our home because of the awesome work from CSWM. Today we met three amazing dry walling employees: Adam, Homme', and Echo. Their skills were exemplary. Additionally, they all took great care of our home cleaning up all the drywall dust and debris. What an outstanding team of personable professionals. Thank you!

We had a pipe burst in our home that flooded about 1600 square feet of the house, resulting in flooring and trim loss throughout and drywall loss in the bedroom of the burst pipe. We chose Construction Services of West Michigan as they were a preferred contractor for our insurance and we had a positive quote experience with our project manager, Jeremie. Work started quickly on the drywall removal and repair, along with repainting walls and restaining custom builtins which Edgar and Gilbert did a great job on.

After a flooring company installed our floors, Jeremie sent Mark to start working on our new trim/quarter round. Mark was very careful and did an excellent job lining things up. We had various contractors in working on the trim so it got a little hectic having to be home to explain what needed to be done each day as sometimes there was some confusion about what they were going to do. Jeromy came and did a great job shaving our doors down that were too long for our new floors and explained the pros and cons of different options which was very helpful for making decisions.

Lastly, the painter came to caulk and paint the trim and while he did an excellent and neat job painting, he accidentally let our cat out of the room he was shut in which was worrying since the contractors often left the front door open as they went in an out.

Overall, the work done looks great and project manager Jeremie was easy to communicate with whenever we had questions or issues

The guys did awesome work at my house, they were courteous and professional from start to finish. My window went in well and they communicated well on site. From Letting me know they had a small thing to come back for to checking with me on certain appearance things with the window. Would have them and CSWM back anytime for any need. Carl who has overseen the whole thing has also been great with communication and planning this whole ordeal.

My husband and I are new homeowners that had a refrigerator line leak, we reached out to Cody and he and his team were there right away. Everyone was very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. They took care of the problem quickly, which gave us peace of mind knowing we were well taken care of. I highly recommend Cody and his team!

I worked with Carl at Construction services of West Michigan. When ever I called Carl he answered the phone promptly using my name. He was always proactive but when a problem arose he addressed it immediately. Their construction crew, painters, plumbers etc were scheduled efficiently one after another. Each and every person that came into my house did their work with great skill and all were trust worthy as I was not home most of the time they were here working. I would recommend Construction Services over and over again.

Everyone who came to work on cleaning, drying, and rebuilding after a water leak, was knowledgeable, friendly and did a great job. The project manager, Casey, did a fantastic job with scheduling, working with my schedule, and keeping me updated.

I was referred to Construction Service of West Michigan by my insurance company for a ceiling repair, that turned out it was my trusses. Casey came out diagnosed the problem and told me what was going on, he explained everything to me gave me time to let it soak in. After a few weeks I asked him to do a quote and we started the process. I was kept informed throughout the process from dropping off supplies, to how they would repair the trusses to getting the building permit and engineer, everything. The communication was greatly appreciated and they worked around my schedule.

I can't say enough about Casey, Larry and their entire crew. I would give 10 stars but it only goes to 5.

Construction Services managed a water damage repair in our home..I am pleased with the work quality and the contractors sent to do the work. There was one matter of something needing further repair after the initial work was done and it was handled quickly to stop the issue from becoming worse. Labor is hard to find, the entire process took a rather long time, but in the end it was done well and I am happy with the results.

We had a house fire in May of 2023. I was anxious about finding an honest and reliable contractor as I’ve heard many horror stories about contractors in the past. Our insurance company recommended Construction Services of West Michigan and we were connected with Cody.
From our first meeting, Cody was a consummate professional. He took care of literally everything, listened to our concerns and wishes for the rebuild and went above and beyond in every way possible to make our home absolutely beautiful. The entire team at Construction Services was amazing. Everyone handled our home and concerns with such care and made sure we were completely satisfied with everything from start to finish. The very few hiccups we did run into while rebuilding were dealt with immediately and resolved to our satisfaction. Cody was phenomenal at communicating with us, making sure we were kept in the loop every step of the way. He was always calm, cool, and collected and we are so thankful we had Cody on our team working so hard for us.
I also want to recognize Tiffany for her help in getting our contents taken care of. She was so bubbly and warm and eager to help us, ensuring all our personal contents were handled with care. She even helped us set up our furniture when we finally moved back home. I truly cannot say enough good things about these people. They were a blessing to us in a dark time in our family’s lives and now we get to enjoy this beautiful home they made for us and I’m thankful everyday for the people there and the wonderful job they did.
