My carpets, area rugs and sofas are almost dry after less than 24 hours and are so clean!! I will definitely call L&N again next year. Thanks Gerald for a job well done!

L & N did an excellent job. My 20+ years carpet looks like new. The re-stretching has made for smooth walking on my carpet. Very satisfied customer and would recommend this company to anyone.

I can't know if company is any good or not because when I call them they never answer the phone, all you get is some answering machine. Over a couple of weeks maybe tried calling 10 plus times, mornings, afternoons and even after hours, answering machine. They must have all the business they need, so why do they keep clogging up my mailbox with all their fliers ?
I have Modernistic coming out this week, they answered the phone.

Update nine months later: I discovered the L & N Carpet Cleaning business at the Lansing Home and Garden Show in March of 2019 hosted by the MSU Pavilion on the campus of Michigan State University. My duct work had not been cleaned for over 10 years so I took them up on their special home and garden show discount. I arranged for them to come out and clean my duct work, dryer ventilation system, and a hallway carpet. They left four return air vents on the floor and didn't even clean five of the upstairs return vents & ducts. I paid $65 to have a short strip of carpet cleaned on my upstairs hallway and it's still stained. I had to call three times over three days to have them come back and finish the job. Because I was curious, I asked how they cleaned the 25 feet of four inch dryer exhaust tubing and was told that they do it from “the outside.” The gentleman said his dad perfected the technique because it helps them avoid having to move the clothes dryer inside the house. I wanted my dryer exhaust system cleaned because my dryer was not drying my clothes in the normal amount of time. Even after L&N cleaned the exhaust tubing, the problem continued to get worse and worse over time. Because I had my dryer vent tubing cleaned by L&N, I thought my dryer was the problem so I resorted to using my dryer in the basement. After 9 months of blaming my dryer and doing laundry in the basement, I remembered that the L & N Carpet Cleaning gentleman told me that they cleaned my dryer vent from the “outside.”  My dryer ventilation tubing has three 90 degree bends and it occurred to me that it would be next to impossible to snake a cleaning device around three 90 degree elbows. So I took the tubing apart in the basement and found the source of my dryer problem. My dryer tubing was plugged with lint. It had never been cleaned and I paid extra for that service. Nine months after blaming a defective dryer, I discovered that L & M Carpet Cleaning never cleaned my dryer ventilation system but took my money anyway. Now I’m being told that I have no redress because it’s been nine months since they were at my house. However, I assumed all along that the vent tubing was actually cleaned by L & M Carpet Cleaning and was, therefore, not the problem with my clothes not getting dry. I mistakenly blamed my dryer. L & N Carpet Cleaning is a dishonest, incompetent business enterprise with no integrity. I do not recommend this company and would caution anyone hiring them to be on site and watch what they do to ensure they are doing the job you paid for.

I wish I had read the reviews on this company before I hired them to clean my duct work. On their first visit, they were in and out in a little over an hour which seemed fast considering I was told the duct work in my two story house would take at least two hours to clean. They left four return air vents on the floor and didn't even clean five of the upstairs return vents & ducts. The guys were nice enough but complete amateurs. They bent one return vent while reattaching it to the wall. I paid $500 to have this job done and I have no confidence that my duct work is actually clean. I would never recommend this company. Bummer.

07/09/2025 update: I am still angry with L & N Carpet Cleaning for not cleaning my dryer vent or upstairs return vents in 2019. They totally ripped me off for $500.00 and never did the cleaning. They also would not refund my money for not doing the dryer exhaust cleaning. It's sad how such incompetence and dishonesty clings to one's conscientiousness after all these years.

I really hate to leave a review That’s not five stars, because the guy that came out to clean our carpets was very nice and he took the time to explain things to us. However, I was pretty disappointed to find out that he didn’t move any of the furniture in any of the rooms, even after my husband Had said that we wanted the whole carpet cleaned because we had just moved in. I looked on the website and couldn’t find any details about moving furniture and he didn’t say anything about us moving it. I would have moved all of the furniture into other room so that the whole carpet could’ve gotten clean. And I know that it’s not completely fair, but I scheduled everything online and picked the cleaning that sounded like it would work best with our carpet soil level, and the fact that we had pets. Once the technician came out, he explained that if there were any pet odors or pet residue left in the carpet that the cleaning that I selected would only make the urine Smell stronger. We opted for the enhanced pet treatment, but that cost us more than twice our original quote that I thought would also cover pet cleaning based on what I read in the cleaning descriptions on the website. So overall, the work they did wasn’t bad, but it definitely didn’t leave a great impression and I’ll likely shop around next time we are going to get services.

L & N is always there wehn I need them and I know they will always provide an excellent clean. Whether it’s a scheduled appt., or a last minute emergency, I can count on L & N to get the job done. Crystal is amazing at scheduling and all of the guys are first in class in the carpet business! Highly recommend.

We have used L & N before and this time was outstanding. The gentleman was professional and courteous. Stains others were unable to remove L & N did. I was skeptical and thought they would reappear after a few days but it’s been a week and no stains. I don’t remember the name of extra cleaning they did but it’s working inexpensive. I would highly recommend their carpet cleaning services.

The technician, Grant, serviced two different properties for me and he did a fantastic job! He was courteous, professional, and quick. I have used L&N multiple times and have been satisfied each time. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I am very pleased with the service I received. I had two bedrooms and a stairway cleaned. The technician was friendly, careful about putting up corner protectors and completed the job quickly. I have used L&N before and will use them again.

L&N came out to clean my carpet and did an excellent job, after my carpet dried I noticed some hard spots. I gave L&N a call, explained my concern and was given a nexus day appointment. I was told by the representative that my puppy had used that part of the carpet as her bathroom, he suggested he use a special cleaner for animals. This time after drying my carpet was just as soft and the rest of the carpet.

I wanted to try their services because I saw an advertisement of how they rake & do a deeper carpet clean. We have 2 dogs and I thought there was no hope. I was shocked on how good my carpet looked after and I couldn't believe all the dog hair they were able to remove. If you think your carpet is a lost cause try them before you replace it. I will use their carpet cleaning services going forward and not use the carpet service I have been using for over 20 years! Plus they didn't try to sell me anything or make me feel bad if I didn't do something extra.

The older guy was a little too chummy with a sexist vibe for my taste. You are not “family” and this is not “your home.” You are a contractor who I can hire and fire at will.

I hope Grant, his son and the owner, will take note. He was terrific. He communicated well, was kind, quiet, and not condescending.

Other than that, the work (carpet stretching) was well done.

Cleaned a high traffic area in hallway yesterday, removed any trace of previous stains!

Grant Nystrom did the work at our home. He was thorough and very capable. He cleaned all our vents as well as cleaned our living room carpet and basement steps. He also did a small heavily used area of carpet at the entrance to our office at no charge. The total process took him about four hours. We are pleased with the appearance and an his efforts. The cost was considerably more than we had originally planned, but we also availed ourselves of several extra services so the cost seemed reasonable overall. I would recommend L & N to all looking for quality service and price.

Our air ducts were cleaned. He was efficient and showed us everything that had been removed.
