In response to the owners comment, no, I didn’t “mistake” you with another company. This is a valid 1-star review. You trimmed our tree 4feet into our property while doing work for the neighbor without our permission. You never responded to my or my husbands emails, or voicemail and refused to make this right. You left piles of branches in my yard because you “didn’t want to trespass” as you stated in my neighbors review. However you never left a note or knocked on my door to see if you could clean up the mess you left, it was up to me to find someone and clean it up.
So for anyone looking for a tree service, avoid this company. They’re not professional, polite or won’t take the time to respond to you if you have an issue. Apparently Google review is the only way the respond to people who have an issue.

We had our biggest tree fall in a storm last week. They came out quickly but completely trashed our back yard, and tore up our driveway putting huge cracks in our new concrete. They scraped the side of our house while driving their loader way too fast up and down our driveway. Our back yard has deep ruts from where they were driving, and they also never finished the job. Our whole tree, stump and all, ripped from the ground when it fell. They insisted they had to grind the stump even though it’s no longer in the ground. They left their trash and also their weed in our yard and haven’t been back in over a week. When my husband called to see when they’d be back they had completely taken us off their schedule yet sent us 2 invoices for an unfinished job. Not to mention they have had no one come out to assess all of the damage they caused. We can’t move forward with the rest of our clean up until they finish the job. To add to it I’m having a baby tomorrow and don’t need the added stress. Completely unprofessional and reckless.

I called the Big Chipper and they quickly came and gave me a quote and we were able to schedule as we needed. They took down two large pines and the pricing was good. They did not leave any mess and I am very pleased with the work they did!!

They do great work. Extremely professional and did exactly what I needed.

We had a +70' maple that needed to come down. Our yard wouldn't allow for the team to get the bucket in, so they determined they needed to drop it. They safely dropped the tree in my yard precisely where they said they would. Within 4 hours of arriving, the tree was down and cut up, and an hour later the stump grinding was complete. Since they were working so efficiently, I asked that they take another tree down while onsite. Big Chipper is professional, easy to work with, and quick.

We had a wonderful gentleman deliver wood chips to our home today. Ordered online, we got a call from staff to make sure they knew where to drop the chips. Could bot have had better service. We will definitely use your company again and many thanks!

Paul, the owner, and his crew were professional, friendly and easy to work with. They were able to do our job within a week. They trimmed our trees as requested and were done with everything cleaned up in less than two hours. The stump grinding also was done the same day. I would highly recommend this company.

I recently had to have some tree trees cut back from my house in the property and I called Big Chipper and they were out the next day. Completed the job and did an excellent job cleaning up! The workers were friendly, helpful and overall incredible! I definitely recommend big Shepherd to anyone that needs to have trees cut down or trimming.

Really impressed with the candor of the employees and their professionalism. They had to set up a crane and bucket truck in an alley in our neighbors yard. They took all the necessary precautions with pads to protect his yard. It was a delicate location, but they managed to take care of our massive elm tree in a few hours. For anyone looking for tree care I can't recommend them enough. Thanks!

Big Chipper Tree Service took 3 huge pine trees and ground the stumps. Magnificent job! They were on time, and completed in two days. So happy with the work done.

I would highly recommend this company. The staff that came out to our home were wonderful, knowledgeable and did a great job cleaning up after they were finished. Amanda in the office was great to work with when it came time to schedule, she worked hard to get this project done right away. She kept us informed every step of the process. Paul's estimate came in right on track. Their prices are very reasonable and fair, we will use them again in the future. My husband and I are very happy with the work they did at our home. Check them out before calling any other tree service company, you will find a very professional staff and company to work with.

I contracted with Big Chipper to remove a tree from my back yard. They were to use their crane truck and lift the tree over the house. The tree was dropped in the back yard and they used a bobcat machine to attempt to clean up the dropped tree. My yard was left in a total mess, several phone call and text messages with the owner with only promises to repair the mess. 7 months later and still no repair of my yard. I paid for the crane service and received a drop and cut up service was left with a big mess and promises for repair. They should get a minus star for the job they did for me

Paul, Amanda, and the rest of the Big Chipper team is great. From quote to job completion there was quick and clear communication. I had a 40yr old Oak tree that needed to be removed. It was hanging over our house, and was located near other large trees. The crew was very professional and cleaned up well. Thanks Big Chipper!

I am going to give 2 separate reviews.
The first review if for the large job that Big Chipper did for me at my in-laws house. There were 12 pine trees and a few other trees that were removed which required the stumps to all be ground up. Along with all of the shrubs next to the house and trees overhanging the back deck, there was also a 50 foot row of overgrown hedge that needed to be removed. There were 2 maple trees and one magnolia tree that were trimmed. Please refer to the pictures that were shared from Dan Schribner's review.
I knew that the amount of work was going to be a lot, but Big Chipper was extremely helpful with getting back so soon with a very detailed estimate. This company from the owner to all of his employees are very professional. The estimate for the amount of work to be done was very fair. From start to finish this company works very hard to please the customer. They are very respectful of the property they are working on along with the property next to where they are working. They go above and beyond with cleaning up after themselves.
I was referred to Big Chipper from Dan Schribner who had a family member have Big Chipper do a job for them, and they were extremely impressed with the work that Big Chipper does. I am very happy that I took the recommendation and would recommend Big Chipper to anyone looking for tree work.

I am very pleased. The team that came in for our tree/bush removal was in time, they moved quick and were done without any major disruptions. I was very impressed. I appreciate it that they have all the equipment to get it done at a reasonable rate. Super super happy.

Great service from Big Chipper - from the estimate to booking it was seamless - Paul even came by the day the work was to be done to address my concerns about what equipment would be used.
Crew showed up on time for the removal - left virtually NO mess - next day the stump grinder crew came - I was concerned about how deep they would go but they listened to my concerns and kept the depth of the grind well away from my sprinkler lines -

We had a neighbors tree over hanging onto our driveway, and with their permission, we hired “The big chipper” to remove. Not only did we get a very reasonable price, our neighbors also had 3 additional LARGE trees removed. The guys came promptly, and extremely efficient, professional, and so good at what they did. They cleaned up as they went, and again, so good at what they did. I would recommend this company all day long.

These guys did a great job. Super friendly and funny. Will use them again whenever needed.
