I had a wonderful experience this past summer. They took out 2 large tree's that were 100-120 feet tall. The full crew was impressive and their equipment was mind blowing. My kids were home and LOVED it. Big Chipper cleaned up the yard and they were all kind. My neighbor recommended them after they did work for him. They are my #1 to-go-to guys and I recommend them to everyone I can.

The team at Big Chipper did a good job! Given the inclement weather and overcoming multiple issues with communication and equipment they came through and finished the job!

These guys from Big Chipper were great! They came out the same day I called to do the bid, the pricing was right in line with what I was hoping for and they were able to remove the tree within 10 days of my initial call. Amanda in the office was quick to respond and very professional. There were 4 guys that showed up to do the work when they arrived they took a little extra time to figure things out because the tree was in a very tight location. They managed to squeeze their trucks in where needed and even took care of the truck tracks after so that I will not have to worry about it in the spring. They were done very quickly and were all very nice guys to work with. So nice that I ordered them Pizza for lunch for doing such a good job. Thank you Big Chippers!!

Big Chipper is extremely unprofessional. They were doing work at my neighbor’s house and while we weren’t home they trespassed on our property and cut some of our branches without our permission. They were not branches that we wanted cut and they were at least 5 feet on our side of our fence. Not only did they do that without our permission but they were rude enough to leave all the branches on the ground and didn’t clean them up. I contacted them about it and they won’t respond, proving the kind of company they are.

The “manager” stood in front of the house and smoked 3 cigarettes while the guys did the work and trespassed on our property. Avoid this company at all costs, they will do careless work and cause you issues with your neighbors.

Crew was on time. Cleared up/ trimmed our back yard canopy. Cleaned up well. Crew and foreman were polite and responsive to our questions. BONUS... The day after service, a big branch came down from our newly pruned tree (possibly from the prior day service) The owner of Big Chipper came out to take a look... The Crew returned a week or so later and took care of the dangling big branch. Summery, not only did Big Chipper do an awesome job, they followed up and earned a loyal customer! Great job.

With the recent storm that took place the night of 8/24/23, our neighbors tree split and fell through our roof. Big Chipper came to assess the work/damage on the 25th and were at our house bright and early to remove the tree on the 26th. They got all the debris off the roof, removed ALL the debris from our yard and driveway, and tarped the hole in our roof for us to keep it dry until roofers can come. If there wasn't a giant hole in my roof, you wouldn't even know there was a storm! They were amazing, quick and gave us a lot of relief from this nightmare, and will work directly with insurance.

After a couple years and several estimates, Paul came by and was by far the most genuine professional who just kept it real. Within one week of booking, their crew came by and absolutely dominated the huge old oak tree on my property. Their crew managed to disassemble this massive tree between power lines, other trees and a house; Maneuvering in a very difficult space they executed the tree removal with absolute precision and expertise. They cleaned up the area perfectly, too. I could not be happier.

Update - I actually had a chance to talk with the owner (Will) face to face when he was reviewing a job that was done for my neighbor. I was very impressed with him and with my conversation with him. He apologized for the quote and took the opportunity to take pictures and video to use as a learning opportunity for his team. I will be giving Big Chipper another chance to quote any future work I will need after my conversation with Will.

Their quote was 2-3 times higher than several other quotes that I received. I did call to ask why they were so much higher and they told me drive time (it was a 30 min drive).

This is the 3rd time we have used Big Chipper. They came out and trimmed a tree that was starting to die off. They did an amazing job. Cleaned up everything realy nicely. The guys truly work well together and had me laughing at the way they picked back and forth as they worked it was quite nice. Thank you guys for the amazing job and laughs. Big Chipper is awesome.

I love how they gave a estimate on everything that I wanted done. Over 10 pine trees removed along with some ugly wild elms, scrubs. They removed them and the stumps also. Very professional ,nice and great job in leveling ground and cleaning up. Flew my drone over and took some great pics on how well they did. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

This is a review of the second job that Big Chipper did for me.

This job was a my personal residence where I needed two maple trees trimmed, one in my front yard and one in my back yard. I also requested that a tree in my neighbor's back yard be trimmed to the property line. The neighbor's tree was hit by 2 separate storms, and was overhanging into my yard. One storm damaged the neighbor's tree in June of 2020 and a second storm damaged the tree further in August of 2022. Refer to the pictures that clearly show the storm damage to the neighbor's tree from August of 2022. Because the initial storm damage to the tree was not taken care of, the tree was left to rot out, which by the second storm caused more of the tree to come down into my property next to my new garage. Since the neighbor's tree is still not being taken care of I felt that I was forced to take care of it to protect my home and property from further damage.

Here again Big Chipper was very fast and professional to add me to their job schedule and provided me with another detailed and fair estimate. In order to reach the neighbor's tree to give me a property line cut they had to wedge their bucket truck between my garage and the property line. They did not trespass on the neighbor's property. Even though I have 2 pieces of my driveway that cracked from them getting their truck into my backyard to deal with the neighbor's tree, Big Chipper is insisting that they work with me to get my concrete taken care of. I didn't have to say anything about the concrete, Big Chipper saw it themselves and are helping me take care of it. After all of the trimming they were very thorough and detailed in their cleanup.

Big Chipper is a very professional company to deal with. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for tree work to be done.

Great experience through each step of the process! From my meeting with Shaine for my estimate (on time, polite, friendly and very knowledgeable) to Amanda in the office (scheduling job and reminder call, very friendly and courteous) and lastly, the crew! House, lawn, other trees and phone line were not touched/disturbed. Debris removed as agreed, no branches or needles left behind, just the stump.

We noticed their company vehicle out on the road, seen they had great reviews so decided to give them a try, which we are glad we did! The process was super smooth & fast- from scheduling a quote to getting them out here all in 2 days. The guys that came out were very nice and careful, they were able to remove what we asked without any problems even though the entrance was kind of tight:). Definitely recommend & would hire again.

Tree removal was exceptional. We needed a large maple tree removed from our back yard. A difficult job to say the least. The crew was professional and efficient. They even removed additional large branches from another maple tree and a large pine tree at no extra cost inorder to tackle the tree to be removed. The cost was well within my budget. Awesome tree service company.

William Amey, the owner, worked to find a solution that would meet my budget constraints but still achieve my goals. At first, Big Chipper was the highest quote I received but as I dug deeper to understand the full service they were proposing, I realized I would get way more value for the $ than I needed. So I pared down the service and they were perfectly within my budget limit. The tree-removal crew was diligent, friendly, cleaned up limb debris very well, and stacked the tree trunks nicely. No hesitation to work with Big Chipper again.
