Evan was on time, and ready to accomplish the tasks at hand. His climbing skills are amazing only to be topped by his knowledge of trees and the best methods of trimming to get to best finished product. Very knowledgeable in all things tree related. I helped clean up the down branches and Evan made sure the entire lawn was clean of sticks before he left. His charges are very fair for the amount of work he put out. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a good tree trimming at fair prices. Better than a truck crew, no ruts in the lawn. He brought a 25 ‘ long U-Haul Truck to load all the brush out. I kept all of the good burning wood for my fireplace. He was very accommodating.

Evan and Jake arrived a few minutes earlier than promised. After a short introduction and explanation they got right to the work.They did the work safely and proficiently. They fell 4 trees. Every tree went exactly where they planned.
— The last tree broke a few limbs off other trees, which Even had predicted. I was super impressed with how the broken limbs were cleaned up. Because the trees were alive Evan used a rope and pulley system, instead of spikes and belt, to ascend and trim the broken limbs. This showed his genuine care to clean up the worksite but not cause any harm to the other trees on my property.

🚨!AVOID!🚨 This company will show up to your house UNANNOUNCED and "trim" your tree. Then they have the nerve to tell you they don't have to notify you that they're trimming. Abysmal company that works for crooked cities.

Chop has been working by the power lines on our road for months now. We have lost power because of them several times, and they are very inconsiderate on our narrow road.

These guys are a joke! They're being paid by the county to trim or remove trees covering powerlines on Bayou Drive in Stanwood and they're leaving a mess behind! Shoving branches into the woods and not cleaning up the area they're dropping trees on. And why not stump grind the big trees? Now we're left with ugle tree stumps in our front yard. Overall I wouldn't pay this service a dime. The guys were rude as hell to me because I wanted to know if I needed to move my truck out of my driveway and if they planned to stump grind. They told me not to worry about their jobs. They knew what they're getting paid to do. What a bunch of Jenks!

Our entire road looks like a tornado ripped through it. Consumers energy hired them to trim trees that are too close to power lines and everything looks horrible. It looks like they didn’t even try to make the trees look nice. If my tree is in the way of a power line but would look very bad if trimmed. Then just take the whole tree down and spare my husband the time and energy to take it down the rest of the way. Very upset

Removing tree branches, they torn Xfinity cable , wrapping it partially around a tree branch and leaving the end of the cable on the ground without bothering to report to fix it.. when I called , the manager said it was not them, that it happened before they arrived, which is total lie !!! Now no internet!
Xfinity is coming in 5 days. Horrible unprofessional service! And they were hired by City of Wyoming.

They leave a huge mess of destruction behind. Hacked trees and debris in private property. No good work ethic. And don’t let them trim your oaks after March,they’ll kill your trees. And they know it.

Hired by the energy company to remove tree limbs from powerlines, broke my back windshield out of my jeep by dropping a tree branch right on it, even AFTER I asked them if I needed to move my vehicle BEFORE they started setting up to do their job.

Some of the workers seem to have a bad attitude as well.

The windshield is getting fixed, and the folks that had attitudes were directed to stay off our property. Just a crappy situation that could've been avoided all together. I hope to see some improvement on their end, or a different tree service that cares about what their doing the next time that this is needed in our area. Foreman did phenomenal handling both situations though, he alone earned them an extra star. 👏

Absolutely terrible company. Cut down 16 ornamental pine trees (do not grow above 12 feet) while “clearing power lines.” The trees were not under the power lines and would never grow to touch them. The trees were planted by our deceased Grandfather and are, obviously, irreplaceable. PLEASE never trust this company!

The guys at West roots are very professional. They respond very quickly and in and out before you know it. They cut down a dead tree from my back yard with lots of care for my fence. I would recommend them and will be calling them the next time I need help.

I would highly recommend West Roots Tree Service. They cut down 3 trees, cleaned up all debris and the stump grinding was completed timely and exceptionally. I was on a tight timeline and they prioritized the job to keep me on track. I’ll have them back out for any future tree removal or trimming.

We just hired West Roots Tree Service for a storm damage clean up and they did a great job. Chase and Cody worked as an efficient team to assess the number of downed trees to be removed and carefully cut these large trees up without damaging the surrounding trees or our landscaping and lawn. They worked non stop and got the whole job done faster than I thought possible and they took some extra time to clean up and messes or twigs. I got 4 quotes for removing several trees in our backyard and West Roots was easily the best option when looking at professionalism and cost. I had West Roots Tree Service come out to evaluate and remove a tree that had fallen in my backyard. At first, I thought my only option was to let it fall completely onto the fence and then repair the damage later, but Chase and Corey came out and handled the situation perfectly.

They safely and efficiently took the tree down without using big machines and, most importantly, without causing any damage to my fence—even though there was a real risk it could have been damaged. They explained everything clearly, worked carefully, and did it all at a very affordable price compared to other companies that quoted me for heavy equipment and bigger crews.

Pippen did good, careful work removing our rotted tree remains and then later grinding out the stump and planting a ginkgo sapling. She was on time, just as Nick, the very responsive owner, had stated. The cost was very reasonable. Everything was top notch.

Eli is great to work with and really knows what he is talking about. He came out and really helped me understand my trees more than merely offer his services. I look forward to working with Eli in the future

Heartwood did a great job trimming our trees and removing the brush/wood. We will call them again if we need them.
