Eli and his very professional crew did a terrific job of removing two half-dead box elders and a Norway maple, plus a slew of blown-down branches and heavy limbs from our back yard.

Eli provides the best service and advice. You can rest at ease and be secure when he shares his knowledge with you. I had him come out to trim a crabapple tree that was in desperate need of attention and he also treated a large oak for gypsy moths. The tree looks great as expected and all communication was responsive and timely. We will continue to use Heartwood tree care for all of our tree needs.

The Heartwood Tree Care team was at my house early and ready to work. The crew assessed the job as a united front, it was incredible to watch the crane operator and the climber work through all the cuts to come! We had a HUGE tree and they handled it with grace, and professionalism, they are a kind and friendly crew that brought entertainment to the entire neighborhood! We expect to see them back as all of my neighbors asked for quotes throughout the day.

Last Tuesdays storm left my backyard full of my neighbors large tree limbs, branches and leaves. A friend recommended West Michigan Save a Tree. I called and Dylan came out the same day, looked over the damage and gave me an estimate. He then emailed me a detailed estimate later that evening, saying they could start work tomorrow. The crew arrived the next morning and worked for the next 2+ hours until the yard was cleared. Then they used rakes and a leaf blower to clean up the rest. I recently had Dylan and Kurt visit my property for a tree assessment, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The arborist, Dylan was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything in detail.

I had to gather funds for a few months to get what I needed them to do done, and it was the very last day my quote was valid for that I called in. They happily accepted the job, and let me know it might be a month's wait because they were very busy, but it was possible they might come sooner if they had a crew on another job in my area. To be clear, my needs were not emergency, I just had a dying tree.
I only had to wait one week, which was amazing. They came out when they said they would on a Monday, and spent about 2/3 of a working day trimming my apple tree and taking down a very large and dying pine tree. They worked safely and carefully. They cut 2/3 of the pine tree down from the top. When they dropped the last of it from the bottom, it fell well clear of all obstacles.
For what I got, I felt I had an extremely fair price. About the only sign they were there are a few dents in my lawn where the tree came down - something I expected and have already taken care of. I have more, less urgent tree work, and I will be contacting these folks when I am ready to get it done!

Have worked with SavATree for years and can always rely on them for tree fertilization, expert tree trimming or removal, top notch safety measures, and detailed cleanup of debris. Chris is my arborist and he is very responsive to questions/concerns and always strives for happy customers. Definitely recommend!

I worked with Dylan and he was very responsive, friendly and easy to work with. I have a maple with a black fungus, and they fertilized it and is coming back to apply the antifungal when the weather is better. All is good.

Great crew. Very conscientious. Worked safely and took care of our limbs including clean up of not only the tree limbs but our lawn and patio as well.

I was very happy with the arborist and the advice given, BUT I am unhappy about one aspect of the service I purchased and need to give this feedback. I contracted for an annual fertilization of my redbud tree. I wasn't given a date for when that would happen, just "late season." This morning I went to my front porch to check my mail (which I do every 2 or 3 days because it's mostly junk) and found on my exterior front door knob a card and letter in a plastic sleeve informing me that yesterday morning the fertilizer was applied and that because of the very warm and dry summer and fall "the fertilization service you received today would be greatly aided by watering the area around your plants fertilized today." Call me, email me, text me to let me know you're applying the fertilizer that day and that I should water that day. Leave a note on my front door knob? That's information calculated not to be timely received. I don't even use my front door; I use my side door. So please, next year, let me know when you're coming or that you've come by any modern means of communication! No notes on the front door!
