Highly recommend Heartwood Tree Care! They are extremely professional, responsive and experts in their field. They removed a few trees from our backyard that were threatening our property and the neighbors' and did an exceptional job. They were on time, precise and efficient. Can't say enough great things!

I'm a wildlife rehabber and we had a raccoon stuck in a tree for 4-5 days. Eli was the only tree trimming company willing to assist to get the raccoon down and he was going to do it for free. This is an amazingly compassionate and excellent company. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them.

I have used Heartwood Tree Care on two separate occasions and both times the crew did excellent work. They worked efficiently, removed all the debris, and left our yard in good condition when they were finished. Heartwood's price was very reasonable, well under the other bids we received, and I would use Heartwood again without hesitation.

An excellent job that met if not exceeded my expectations. I would easily use Heartwood again and recommend that others do likewise. This is not just someone with a rope and a chainsaw. He is educated and certified in his profession. This is the only way to go.

“They came, they SAW, they conquered.” We needed to have some small trees removed from our fence line, tree trimming of our large maple overhanging our roof, and the removal of two small pines by our front door. 3 professionals (with helmets) arrived and carefully handled the work, were personable, cleaned the area and we are delighted with the results. We will be contacting Heartwood for any tree work we have in the future — and will recommend them. (We got their name from our son, who was also pleased with their work!)

Eli and his crew did a great job. We had a large Maple tree overhanging three yards, all fenced in, a deck under one branch and a playhouse right next to the trunk. Other companies indicated they would not want to do the job, or would charge a premium in order to take it on. Eli quoted the job fairly, was super easy to work with and they managed to get the tree down without damaging any of the surrounding structures. They were clean, professional and communicated extremely well. They will absolutely be my go to for any tree trimming needs I have. Thanks for taking on a tough job and doing it exceptionally well!!

Had a great experience with Eli and Heartwood Tree Care. He was out to look at my tree fast. He said we didn't need to remove the tree, but with some pruning and some fertilizer could nurse it back to health. Eli and his crew did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Heartwood Tree Care.

We were thrilled with the service Eli provided. He and his employee took down a massive white pine tree for us. Very professional, timely communication and clearly very skilled at the tree removal itself. Careful attention to safety and spent some extra time helping us obtain replacement privacy trees to plant in the new gap. Personable and easy to work with. Would highly recommend them and will be using them again any time we have tree needs or questions.

I called Heartwood Tree Care to take care of a large lim that had fallen after a storm. It was blocking my driveway and near my neighbor's yard, so I needed it taken care of quickly and with care. Heartwood Tree Care was very responsive, punctual, affordable and did a great job. I highly recommend Eli and his team.

The Heartwood Tree Care team are top notch! Eli was very thorough during the quoting process. He is very knowledgeable and gave us the benefit of his expertise with regard to how best to address the trimming of a tree that had become somewhat unwieldy over the years. The crew arrived right on time and made quick work of the job, but they were also very careful in their work and cleaned up the job site better than they found it! Most recently, there was a communication mix up and Eli, the owner, went above and beyond to take care of us and our needs. This is the second time in the last few years that I have used Eli and Heartwood Tree Care to handle my yard's tree trimming needs. This year he also cleanly removed a small tree along our fence line and left no excess debris or waste in our yard. He's knowledgeable and professional and performs quality work. I was very happy with Heartwood and the work they did at my home. Eli actually stepped away from cutting/trimming work at my neighbor’s to visit with me and discuss potential work at my house. He had a quote ready for me within 2 days and was able to do my job shortly thereafter.
Their equipment was first rate and the entire crew was great - friendly/courteous, attentive to safety, careful not to cause any undue damage, and gave me helpful advice for my future pruning/planting. They were open to adjusting things on the fly (doing added work) and subsequently very fair about it on their invoice. Finally, when the job was finished, they did excellent clean up work.
Would definitely recommend them!

Heartwood did a wonderful job trimming our maple tree that was covering a good portion of our roof. The tree also had more than a few low-hanging branches that we had to duck under when cutting our grass.
The crew did an excellent job and cleaned up all of the attended debris. I had gotten an estimate for the job from another company before calling Heartwood. I am so glad I made the second call. I saved $240 by choosing Heartwood.
The crew was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and did not take all day to do the job. My husband and I will definitely use their services again and recommend Heartwood to our neighbors and friends!

Eli was responsive to our inquiry and was able to get us a plan to care for our white pine that had suffered insect damage after losing a chunk of its canopy in a storm in 2023. While we had plans to treat this fall when the timing was right for insect treatment, the tree took a turn for the worse despite extra watering. Eli was honest with us about the tree and that our intial treatment plan wouldn’t save it.
Writing this review for honesty on the company’s part and not giving us false hope and treating our once gorgeous white pine anyway. Will definitely call them in the future when needed as we have lots of trees.

Eli and his team did a terrific job with our property. We asked them to removed several trees and bushes including two large trees one of which was very close to our house. Eli and his team showed up when they said they would to do the jobs they said they would and that alone is a huge plus for me. They did fantastic work from there removing all the specified tress/bushes without incident in a timely manner. I have already recommended Heartwood to several neighbors and plan on returning to Heartwood for any other jobs. After getting quotes from more than a half dozen tree companies in the area I can confidently say that Heartwood is the best service in the area. Highly recommend!

I had several large and complicated trees to be removed and Eli, AJ and team were just fantastic. The attached photo is of an Elm at the corner of the property. The tree was so big you have to search for the worker up in it .They removed the tree and all four property owners were happy. The only way I could be happier was if the tree was on the other side of the fence to begin with! Thanks Heartwood. You are now my first and only call for tree work!
