Good store and helpful folks. Only complaint is high prices. For example I was checking for BioAdvanced 700740M 24-Hour Grub Plus for Lawns Ant, Tick, and Insect Killer. They sell it for $27.99. Other stores sell for $18-19. Manufacturer sell it for $21.

One of the best stores in Grand Rapids, MI for holiday decor..Especially Christmas ornaments. The selection is varied, in style and in price. Right now, there is a 25% off sale going on for many, many of them. It has been a destination for my Christmas shopping for years.

I regret purchasing anything from here!!. The prices were high comparatively, but my husband spoiled me with purchasing some plants ($250) for our anniversary. Including an $80 rose tree and 2 rose shrubs. The tree never came back this spring. At checkout the cashier told me to keep my receipt because there is a year warranty. Upon going to the store to inquire about the warranty a girl tells me they don't cover roses, only until October of the year it was purchased. ( purchased June 24, 2017) years I asked if there was anything they could do since it was such an expensive plant that died. She said NO.
I'm shocked that there is nothing they would do, and really saddened that my gift from my husband is dead and a lot of wasted time and money! I have purchased many, ( probably over 50 plants elsewhere) . They all had a year warranty no questions asked. Which I've only ever used once. I take a lot of care with my garden. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed and wish someone would've tried to make this right.

Local plant and flower store with wide variety of healthy looking plants, flower and landscaping items. Patio furniture, birding supplies, seeds and most things needed for landscaping. Not really a discount type store. If you want the absolute lowest price maybe consider lower quality stores. Great and frendly staff.

This was the rudest most unhelpful shopping experience I've ever had! The cashier didn't want to give me a piece of tissue paper to put over the large hole in the ceramic pot that I bought. She told me I had to go buy one back by the house plants and she called someone to go back and help me. No one came. So I bought a plastic drainage pot and had to cut out the bottom of it to make that work. Then I asked her may I borrow your scissors for a second. And she said no she didn't want to ruin her scissors so she was going to look for the crappiest pair she could find. And she gave me a pair that barely even cut the flimsy plastic. Very rude not helpful at all! I am a florist and shop here often. But will not from this day forward

Always check for pests on the plants!!
This has been my favorite plant store for quite sometime but yesterday I stopped in & found a big amount of mealybugs on an aloe plant so I took it to a worker & she barely acknowledged me, trashed the plant & didn't bother to check the surrounding plants, which was a huge table full of lots of aloe. pests can really mess up your beloved collection of indoor plants so just be careful when bringing home plants from any store!!
I'll still shop here just kinda salty about some of the encounters I've had here.

A longtime local favorite. Was thrilled to see how much selection they still had for Christmas items! Running really good sales right now too, had a thoroughly enjoyable time with my daughters here.

Nice garden center. Wide variety of pots, soils, fertilizers, etc. Lots of plants, too, however, the greenhouse area was overcrowded with plants and it was almost impossible to walk along the narrow aisles (even with a small-ish cart) without damaging the leaves and branches of the many potted plants on the floor. Flower land, there has to be a better way, who wants to buy plants that are all beaten up and tattered?
I wanted to shop more, but was frustrated trying to make my way.

Great location! Happy that they had seed packets available at this time of year. Staff were helpful and kind. I came late at night, so stock wasn't the greatest, but I found exacrly what I needed regardless.

They have a nice selection of houseplants, but 2 of the plants I've gotten here in the last few months turned out to have mealy bugs. I am typically very thorough in checking for pests before buying a plant, but unfortunately I guess I wasn't thorough enough when buying from this Flowerland location.

Always have new plants coming in. Great selection!

I like the employees, they are always friendly and helpful. The company itself has some things to be desired. Seems what I want most is always just out of stock. Standard reply is two weeks to get in. By then my plants are too far gone. Also, if its not on sale, its too expensive. I love the concept, but dislike the lack of management to be better structured. Thank you very mulch.

A little disappointed. I have been to this location many times in the past. The selection has always been better than a number of other stores around town. This year however both the selection and the quality seems far below normal. Additionally the pricing seems a little higher than in the past as well and in line more with the family-owned greenhouses that I have been to recently.

Good selection of plants, gifts and outdoor needs. They have good sales. The staff is friendly and helpful. Their plants are healthy and I have never had an issue with them. At Christmas they have a wide selection of trees and decorations that you can't find elsewhere.

Always love to stop in and see the new stuff they have for display as the seasons change. There summer items are great for this year. Grabbed a couple things for the patio and seeds for my flower boxes. Can't wait until my next shop day so I can stop back in!

Just drove over 90 minutes to get my fall bulbs.They have the best I have ever planted. Love the variety and have good selection of unusual plants also. Love it when there is a sale since their prices are on the higher end. But really love this store. I agree with several other comments that the employees could be friendlier. I just think that is what you get with younger employees these days. I still give them a good rating and usually make it over twice a year and spend hundreds of dollars but my lawn shows well for all that drive in the driveway.

This establishment uses live reindeer as props for holiday events. Reindeer are easily stressed in small confinement and loud spaces. Having reindeer at their stores is inhumane and completely unnecessary. Live animals are not needed for beautiful Christmas decor.

The variety of healthy plants is great. The staff is always friendly, this is my favorite greenhouse in GR.

Flowerland always puts on a fabulous Christmas extravaganza. This year was no exception.
