Geri has been cleaning our home for several months now. She is a delight to interact with and I really appreciate her attention to detail. She also cleaned my mom's apartment for the first time yesterday, and mom was thrilled with the results. Sparkle and Shine Cleaning services always sends conscientious, friendly cleaners and even the substitutes are awesome. I really like that the main office lets you know who will be coming to your home. It makes the interaction much more comfortable. Thanks for a great job.

I had a deep clean prior to my “move in” to my new home. Haily has been out cleaning technician for over a year now and always does an incredible job. We quite literally couldn't get along without her. Unlike other services we have used in the past, Sparkle and Shine has rarely needed to reschedule us. We would highly recommend them for their consistent quality service.

Tonya arrived on time and was attentive during our walk through. She was professional and thorough in cleaning our home. I appreciated the detail given to vacuuming our carpeted steps (a two-story home with finished basement) by using a crevice tool in all the edges. Our plank flooring was properly cleaned without too much water. Our home smells clean. The checklist is a nice way to highlight what services were rendered. We will use Sparkle and Shine again.

Sparkle and Shine did an amazing job cleaning up my dad’s house! From initial contact, to setting up an appointment for a deep cleaning, to the actual day of cleaning, their process was smooth and they were a pleasure to work with.

When life got super busy recently we knew we needed to call in reinforcements to help clean our home. Sparkle and Shine Cleaning Services was exactly who we needed to call. We were able to have a 3 hour cleaning done which included the kitchen, bathrooms and living rooms and each of the spaces looked great. The communication from the time we scheduled until completion of appointment was excellent. We even received a delicious box of chocolate which was a bonus and exhibits excellent hospitality. We highly recommend Sparkle and Shine!

Sparkle & Shine did an incredible job of cleaning my home. I had them come in for deep cleaning and that is what they did. They got all the fans, tops of doors, cupboard fronts, light fixtures, tops of pictures and floors and more. I am so pleased with their work that I am recommending them to all my friends. The crew was right on time, they were professional, and they knew what they were doing. I can't say enough about Sparkle &

My first cleaning here in Grand Rapids was a complete success! Haily did an exceptional job including detailing every area in my home. Unfortunately we cannot recommend Sparkle and Shine Cleaning services. We had them out for the initial clean before beginning bi-weekly cleanings. A number of items that were indicated on the checklist as having been done were definitely not done and others were perhaps done, but not done well.
Appliances were very streaky, cabinets didn't seem to have been wiped down well, ceiling fans were not dusted at all nor were pictures, top of fridge was not dusted at all, microwave was not cleaned at all--all things that indicated they were completed on the checklist. When I called sparkle and shine the following morning, I was told that what I paid for was a general cleaning and not a deep cleaning. I said that the things I was bringing up were items indicated on their own "General Cleaning" checklist, but they were not actually all completed. They offered to come out for a reclean. While I appreciated that, I had already gone through and recleaned these items myself. Tidying up in preparation and keeping my children out of the way during the cleaning are the most time consuming parts so having them return at a later day was not very convenient.They then offered to just pay more attention next time. That didn't instill much confidence in me as they already had a checklist that wasn't completed in its entirety.

While I appreciate that they offered a reclean and to pay more attention, neither of these solutions was very satisfactory, especially when the first solution offered was to pay for a deep cleaning instead. They did say sorry and it wasn't up to their standard, but I wasn't offered any refund (even partial) even though I paid for things that weren't completed.

Prompt. Polite. Efficient. Everything completed on time and it smells so clean and Good. It’s a joy to have Chantel here! I know my house will look and BE Clean! She brings Sparkle & Shine always!

Recently Laura joined us on a bi-weekly basis to keep our house in order. She has been amazing! One of my partner’s favorite days is coming home from work after Laura is here!

Unfortunately I 100% do NOT recommend. Please save your time and choose a different cleaning company to spend that money with! I never leave reviews on anything, but my cleaning was so bad that I feel guilty not sharing because I want to help prevent others from wasting their time. See my example photos.
Their cleaning checklist has “headboard dusted” as the second item on the list for the bedroom. I don’t even have most of the items on the list in my bedroom (no carpet, no trashcan, no windows, no pictures, no lampshades, no ceiling fan, and the bed was already made by me) so that leaves literally the most minimal work to be done in there and the headboard dust was not even touched. Under the bed was not touched at all either. Same with the bathroom, you can see in the other photo the dust was still there and the light-switch had not even been wiped.
Kathreena M was the cleaner. When I emailed them the photos afterwards, they never responded. They had no explanation for the photos or why Kathreena did not do her job. They texted me offering to schedule her to come back or a different cleaner to come re-clean, but why would I waste more time with the same company that already proved to not do the work they claim to?
