DO NOT TRUST! I booked an appointment online and received a confirmation message. Ten minutes before the appointment time, I received a call to let me know that the online scheduler was not working and they would not be able to come out for two days! Unfortunately, I now have to try to find another company that can come out today as my parents try to fight the heat with no A/C.

I want to say thank you to Myisha for working endlessly and through this last weekend to help find a place to finance me. I have never in my entire life seen someone so dedicated to helping a customer and going the extra mile. Lol more like a marathon.
I am forever in your debt and anyone that doesn’t drop their current heating and cooling company and goes to this company you are missing out on the greatest experience you will ever have or want ever again, thank you one hour heating and cooling and Myisha. You don’t know how much this means to me and my daughter. thank you, Joe and Julian. What a great job you guys installing the new furnace explaining every step of the way what you were doing. I can’t wait to get the AC going thank you one hour heating and cooling. Can’t wait till next year to put the other new one in.

This is our second time calling this company. We have had ongoing issues with our ac and furnace unit but we called to have it checked out. We have been told by other companies this or that may be the issue without ever giving specific findings. They both times were able to identify the issue and fix it quickly. The technician was friendly and explained what to do to prevent the current problem we were experiencing. I recommend this company if you don’t want unnecessary repairs and want the job done right.

I had a great experience with One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning of Southfield. Their employees are extremely professional, highly knowledgeable, and provide top-notch customer service. My AC unit was very old and barely functioning, so I reached out to several companies for quotes. One Hour was the only one to actually show up the same day—despite others promising they would.

After comparing quotes from two other companies, One Hour was by far the most affordable. Even better, they were able to install my new AC within the week!

I highly recommend this company and encourage anyone to support this outstanding small business.

Horrible experience. Misdiagnoised my problem. Installed a thermostat and circuit board still didn’t work. Charged me $129 service call charge, plus $540 for a circuit board under warranty. I spoke directly with manufacturer and they said it should have cost ~$150. Time to install, <30 minutes.
One Hour H&C sent their Sr. service man on follow up visit, he apologized that the other service man was a rookie and hadn’t worked on my specific equipment before. Sr service man re-diagnosed problem as faulty condenser motor.
Owner of company would not credit me any of my $129 service call fee or $540 charge for equipment I DID NOT need. Would not even negotiate a reasonable amount for their time spent WHICH I was willing to pay. I’m an honest and reasonable person and believe in fair business practices. I moved on and had the condenser motor replaced for $250. This problem cost me >$700, when it should have only cost $250.
My advice, stay far away from this vendor. Don’t spend ONE MINUTE of your time considering One Hour Heating and Cooling………

SM Heating was prompt and professional. The tech spent extra time to make sure everything is working correctly with my Furnace. I'm very impressed with the service.

Been a customer for a few years....never had issues before, made a recent appt for service on a new noise from furnace, asked how much when I was making the appt, I was not told about a trip charge and was not told that the hourly charge went up over $25 went I made the appt; I was told around $65 depends on the issue....the tech spent 5mins to look at the furnace to tell me you need a new furnace (no other solution) ironically it's the same tech that came out in the summer and told me I need a new A/C no other solution! also asked the tech to have someone call me and discuss my bill(which was more than any other invoice and has done the least amount of work) instead they mail me the same exact bill the tech tried to charge me. Very unhappy with the way this business has been handling its customer service, especially for a customer that has been using your service for years with no previous issues. I'm sorry to say they have lost my business.

S&M Heating is a lifesaver. S&M has performed maintenance for us to keep our heating and cooling system performing in top notch condition for awhile, but when we head a leaking humidifier S&M earned a customer for life. My Sunday email was returned immediately and the folks at S&M cleared their schedule and made a special trip to address my problem. A fairly short and simple repair later, the water in the basement began to recede and the crisis was averted. Thank you S&M!

I used S&M Heating and Cooling for my new furnace and air conditioner and they did an awesome job. They were priced competitively, very professional and did the work in a timely fashion. I will certainly refer them to any friends or family that may need those services. Tal S went out of his way to make sure all of our questions and concerns were answered and addressed.

S & M Heating totally saved the day. AC went out on a hot and humid day. Within hours of calling, we had a consultation. And within 48 hours, we had a new unit installed perfectly. The installation technician was so nice and knowledgable. Great service. Honest company. I definitely recommend using them.

We were out of town and our base board heating went. I called 3 places and no one worked on boiler systems. I received a referral to call S&M. They sent over a technician right away and my neighbor was able to come let them in. Within 1 hour from call I was notified with what the issue was and told the cost. It was super reasonable and they fixed the problem within a few hours from my initial call. They were so nice and took my payment on the phone. I was super impressed and they helped ease my discomfort trying to deal with this from other side of the country. I came home to a heated home! So very thankful! You guys are the best.

We have been using S & M for 2 decades. They listen to our issues and offer solutions while explaining the pros and cons. A few months ago, we fully expected to be told that furnace had bit the dust as
our home will be 20 years old. They assured us it
had more life in it and the fix would be a simple one. We appreciate their honesty and professionalism. It’s nice to know there are still reputable companies that the consumer can trust. S & M is certainly in that category.
