Had some flickering lights and a wiggly light switch. Nathan came out within a few hours of my call and fixed it in 10 minutes. He was efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, and the price was RIGHT! Had a minor electrical issues, Next Gen came out, diagnosed the problem and had it solved within an hour of me reaching out to them! Very knowledgeable staff that explained the problem to me and even helped me identify a secondary noise that turned out to be a non issue 😂 (it was my electric matcha whisk going off in the drawer.. As a new homeowner, I am also new to dealing with contractors. I am very happy to report that Next-Gen Electric not only met my expectations but exceeded them. Nathan the owner came out to give me a quote and he let me tell him what I wanted to do, we discussed options and made a plan. I did make a small change and Nathan was able to roll with it and adjust my quote accordingly. Paul and Micheal came out to do the work and of course we discovered a small previously unknown issue as seems to happen with home improvements lol. Paul was able to connect with Nathan that day to get me a quote on a couple of options to fix the new issue. Even better Paul was able to come back later that same week to resolve the new issue for me. As others have mentioned in reviews, their professionalism, knowledge and customer service is top notch. They are also just really nice guys and they did a great job cleaning up after themselves! I have a quote for them to do some further work for me and have passed their business card on to a family member who was looking for a good electrician. If you need a good electrician in your life, give these guys a call.

Paul and Zak did a great job installing the hook up for our generator. They were prompt and courteous and explained its operation. They do good work.

I had a GFCI outlet fail which took down the circuit and killing power to my fridge. I found Next-Gen on Google sponsored results and gave them a call to schedule an emergency service. Within 15 minutes, Matt called and said he’d be at my home in another 15 minutes and he arrived spot on.

Matt replaced the outlet and another one in the bathroom I mentioned had been not working for awhile. He was super friendly, courteous, and professional. I went from the issue arising to being completely fixed and then some in an hour and a half.

Matt was awesome and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience overall. I will definitely be using Next-Gen for our electrical needs from here on!

I had an issue tonight with the power in my house. These guys answered right away and had an electrician at my house in less than an hour. Matt was knowledgeable, prompt, and transparent. He quickly diagnosed the problem and advised me of next steps. Matt walked me through everything he did and explained every step of the way. Nathan and his crew (Paul and Zach) were amazing. They were very respectful of me, my dogs and my stuff. They ran into a few unexpected issues completing my job but worked through them like troopers, not a complaint out of them, no straying from the quote. Put in like 12 hours one day because outside work needed to be completed before forecasted rain the next day.
Nathan even put up temporary lights for me so I could see to drywall, not expected or promised, he just did it because he knew it would help me finish my project before he attached the permanent fixtures.
I would 100% recommend them and will use them again if the need arises.

We called them for an issue that happened while we were out of town. They offered an emergency service call or a regular service call. We opted for the emergency call because I didn’t want to take a chance of an electrical fire happening. After calling, the owner Nathan came with an hour. He figured out the issue and fixed it. Great service and very friendly. Nathan is very knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing an electrical service.

We’re excited to finally have our home equipped with the General backup generator. Next-Gen was absolutely fabulous with the installation. We want to thank Matt and the crew for their hard work and commitment to getting the job done.

Fair prices and quick service. He upgraded me from 50 amp to 200amp service. Informed me that the difference between 150amp and 200amp is $100. I feel he looked out for my best interest. 10/10 recommend!
