I scheduled an appointment with Chimney Doctors not knowing what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service. Trace, the service technician, came to our home to inspect our wood-burning stove, which hadn’t been serviced since we moved in five years ago. He explained what needed to be repaired and what could be upgraded, and he took the time to educate us about how each part of the system works. Trace was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous throughout the visit. I’ll definitely be calling Chimney Doctors again for future maintenance and repairs.

Trace from Chimney Doctors was absolutely fantastic. He came out for our chimney inspection and did an outstanding job from start to finish. He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy for us to understand. We never felt rushed or confused, and he answered all our questions with patience.

We especially appreciated how thorough he was, clearly outlining what work our chimney needed and why. He even went a step further by providing two different options for the estimate, which gave us the flexibility to decide what was best for our home.

Trace's professionalism and honest approach were a breath of fresh air. We felt completely at ease throughout the whole process. He truly went above and beyond, and we will absolutely be recommending Trace and Chimney Doctors to anyone who needs chimney or fireplace work. 10/10!

We got a great visit from Trace Henault of Chimney Doctors’ Burnsville shop. Trace was a pleasure to deal with. He reviewed our chimney (old house, high roof) and flues, furnace, gas line and all connections. Gave us a range of options from from simple flue covers (grandfathered in) to a full cover that meets current codes. Also, after interviewing us about use and goals, gave us a very good recommendation and bid for a gas fireplace insert. Really pleased with the service and information. Not yet sure which option we will choose, but we’ll be going with Trace and Chimney Doctors when we do.

We just purchased a 1950s home with an original wood burning fireplace and had Chimney Doctors come to make sure it was safe to use. Hal was fantastic and clearly an expert in the chimney world! He answered my many, many questions and walked me through everything he was doing in great detail! I never felt rushed and Hal went above and beyond with the inspection. It was all incredibly interesting to me and I felt Hal took extra time to go over things in detail for me! 5 stars - highly recommend and will be hiring Chimney Doctors in the future for our Chimney needs! I have been living without being able to enjoy my fireplace for many years due to damage. After researching many companies, Chimney Doctors was one of the few selected to provide an estimate for repairs. I appreciated the ability to schedule online, and appreciated that they were able to get me in even earlier than expected. My technician, Hal Welch, was fantastic! He arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and provided a very detailed estimate with no pressure. After considering my options, I am looking forward to soon being able to once again enjoy my fireplace!

I only signed the contract yesterday, so no actual work done yet, but Trace did an outstanding job of preparing and reviewing different options with me and the pros and cons of each. He was professional and thorough and clearly enjoys his job and the people he works with.

Trace did a great job detailing our options for a gas insert for our existing wood fireplace! He was incredibly thorough in explaining the process and what to expect. Also very detailed in his effort to provide us with a reliable estimate for the job. We are excited to see this in action soon!

Our neglected chimney needed repairs as bricks were starting to erode, indicating water was penetrating it. First step of getting an estimate was quick and easy. They use text messaging to communicate if you prefer. So you know when they are showing. Trace did a great job inspecting and explaining what his recommendations were and a detailed estimate on his tablet. As well as financing options. I didn't feel I was being oversold, or conversely told to just patch it and then deal with year after year. As some other companies suggested.

The repair, which involved rebuilding the chimney starting at the roofline, went as promised. Quick and clean, matches our existing brick house as much as you could hope on a 1941 house. The crew is friendly and work hard while on site. And other than a new chimney and some specks of mortar (which is going to fall no matter what), you'd never know the 3-days of work had happened.

Even the last crew that came back a month later to water proof it was top notch.

I initially reached out to Home Care Heating and Air in Burnsville. They sent out Ben with Chimney Doctors same day and are throwing in an HVAC tune up and inspection for free for using them. Ben was informative; located and fixed by issue very quickly. I would 10/10 recommend Home Care Heating and Air, Chimney Doctors MN, and specifically Ben who was a great help!

Ross was my tech and he was wonderful. He determined what was wrong with my gas fireplace that was not working, had the part needed and fixed it on the spot. Ross did a very thorough job of cleaning the fireplace and was very tidy during and upon completion of the job. He answered my questions and was very personable. I would recommend Ross 100%!!!!!!!!!
