Great work! They were so helpful from start to finish. We had them put in some doors and a deck on the back last summer and we knew right from the start these guys were different. Besides being friendly they were also conscientious of all our kids and the construction equipment. They always cleaned up after a day of work and were finished when they said they'd be!

Matthew Hong was referred to me by Farr Plumbing to resolve a basement shower drain backup. Matthew came out with his colleague Moses the same day I called, thank God, he was truly a lifesaver. I recently had a shower floor drain and venting installed by Farr Plumbing 6 months ago and my shower drain backed up a few days ago. I called Farr Plumbing to ask if there could have been an issue with their installation of my new shower drain and venting to cause this backup. Farr stated recommended to have Matthew Hong with Urban Renovations Drain Cleaning come out first to assess the situation. Matthew forged ahead and with sewer drain camera, sent it down the main inside sewer line and to my surprise, I could clearly see there was no back up there, NO TREE ROOTS. I am soooooo glad that I spent the extra money to have my main sewer line scoped with a camera first and at the same time was very thankful for this service. Ironically, December 2023 I hired a different Sewer Drain Service clean out my main inside sewer line and that guy told me, "Well sir, I got most of the roots but not 100%, it would not be a bad idea to call us out every year or so to make sure the roots don't get worse." That guy lied to me and the mistake I made was to believe him, I did not pay for him to send a camera down the main inside sewer line. When Matthew ran his camera down my sewer line, he had a laptop right there in front of my eyes to see that I did not have a clay line, it had been upgraded to PVC piping before I moved into my house in 2002. I feel horrible that I was lied to but super thankful for Farr Plumbing to refer Matthew Hong, with Urban Renovations Sewer Drain Service. Matthew went the extra mile and continued to remove my toilet in the bathroom next to my shower and he discovered that the cast iron line was calcified which made the line much narrower and that was the actual root of this backup problem in the shower drain near my toilet. God Bless you Matthew, you were divine intervention today!!
