This review is 5 years too late. Apologies. The crew at OA are masters at problem solving. We live in a prototype home that was constructed in the 1930s and when it came time to replace the rotten windows, all the big window manufacturers wouldn't even touch us. OA stepped up and figured out an efficient and elegant way to incorporate a new window system into an unusual older home. The results were amazing. The crew was efficient, trustworthy, and SPOTLESS. They left the house cleaner every day than when they started. Couldn't recommend these folks more.

Top shelf contractor! we have had the pleasure of working with them for over 3 years and I can say they are an awesome group of people to work with. They listen to what the client wants and deliver EVERYTIME!

I admired how they worked and completed different designs, the minute we signed contracts and they started the work, they over promised and under delivered. Wouldn't recommend anyone to use them. The worst case is they never took responsibility on damages done by the people they contracted. Fairly disappointed and wouldn't recommend friends family or anyone.

We have used OA to remodel a bathroom, our kitchen and now our upstairs. Their designs are unique and they incorporate our feedback. We love working with them!

We hired OA Design and Build for a bathroom remodel and they were able to take what was a small, poorly designed space and transform it into a highly functional and aesthetically pleasing space that is utterly unrecognizable to it's precursor (in the best way) and an absolute pleasure to spend time in. Despite demolition coinciding with the beginning of the pandemic and the effects this had on the global supply chain and labor force the completion date of our project was only pushed off by a few days, which is impressive. Their carpenters paid an immense amount of detail to putting up protection throughout the rest of the house to minimize their impact. Their tradespeople for electrical, plumbing, tile etc were also top notch. It's basically a reliable company that does high quality work at a fair price and I wouldn't hesitate at all to use them again.

They have been available when we needed and responded quickly. OA was our ally in a vendor issue and stuck by us during a lengthy and difficult pursuit of a quality product. We worked with the OA team to design and build an addition on our 1920s S. Minneapolis home, including a screened porch, back entry, bedroom and bathroom. They are incredibly creative and have high integrity. It's been two years since the project, and hardly a week goes by without us pausing to appreciate the new spaces. There are so many unique details that we love to point out and enjoy. I recommend OA whole-heartedly!

The OA team remodeled our antiquated kitchen, creatively repainted rooms and added a half bath and mud room to the first floor of our 1909 Dutch Colonial. This project is now ten years old, and we continue to get regular compliments on its design and quality. Working with Otogawa-Anschel Design+Build+Architecture was an absolute delight. Every step from brainstorming and design with the enormously talented Michael Anschel through final clean-up had just the right balance of involving our input as homeowners, while letting O-A team handle everything else. Our basement remodel involved a few months of various teams and professionals coming and going from our home, which was so well done it never felt like an intrusion. We happen to meet many of the sub-contractors as they arrived for their part of the process (demolition, plumbing, electric, etc.) and I was impressed how every sub-contractor was genuinely pleased to be working with O-A which has a well-earned sterling reputation not only among clients, but among employees. Employee and labor rights are important to us and we were impressed with O-A’s visible commitment to diversity in hiring and sub-contracting. Work quality and beauty was uniformly superb.
