We had an excellent experience with MPLS Garage Builders. We had a 60 year old garage that was in dire need of replacement. They handled everything from demo, new concrete slab, framing, siding, roofing, garage door, electrical - everything. Our project manager Travis did a fantastic job handling all the logistics and promptly responded to any and all of our communication. We cannot recommend them enough!

The team was outstanding! They maintained a clean site and were incredibly easy to work with. The references they provided made it simple to view other garages, which really helped in selecting the siding, garage door, and lighting. I'm glad I chose Minneapolis Garage Builders.

I had MPLS Garage do a full knock down/rebuild of my garage and every step of the way they were thoughtful, professional, courteous and did excellent work. The final garage is amazing and exactly as we had laid out the plan. They give you a notice up front that warns each customer to be patient with delays due to the nature of the work as there are many elements involved (including other contractors and inspections), so definitely read that entire document and be prepared to be patient with the process! But, despite the delays, they came through with a fantastic result and I'm very happy.

Minneapolis Garage Builders did a great job on our new garage. Everyone working on the project did quality work and wanted the customer to be totally happy with the finished product. They kept me in the loop through all the steps of the project and responded when I had questions. My project included tearing down an old garage, doing new concrete for garage and driveway, electrical service to the new garage and removing and replacing a section of my fence. I highly recommend them for your garage project.

We contracted with Minneapolis Garage this summer to remove our aged single car garage and install a 2-car garage. The experience went smoothly from tear down to final construction. They know garages. We found them to be open and helpful with planning, prep and construction. Any issue that came up (there are always a few) was discussed and solved together. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Joe came out and had a great discussion about what we wanted and together we planned out what would work for us. It was a real collaborative effort. We felt no pressure to add things to the garage. When the work started we were constantly surprised at how well things were done and how neat the crews were. I am a DIYer at heart and I don't have a feeling of I could have done it better. Planning was easy and flexible - great advice on selecting doors, siding etc.
Demolition was quick - followed by cement (was fast and looked good) - then framing, siding and roofing happened right away - looked like a real garage. Door and the electrical followed.
Backfill and touch up crew were excellent - made everything look good and kept the site clean.
Issues were resolved quickly and we were informed on what was happening at each step so we knew what to expect and when.
Inspectors know who Minneapolis Garage is and both said good things about them and how good of a job they do.

MSP Garage Builders tore down our old garage and built a new one in its place. The garage was built very well. MSP worked with the city and responded to their changing requirements. MSP kept me well informed and responded promptly to our inquiries. The garage is very nice and I would highly recommend MSP to anyone looking for a new garage.

We recently built our new garage with Minneapolis Garage Builders and it was a fantastic experience! All throughout the process Joe and the rest of the team were outstanding to work with.
Starting with our garage Joe was really helpful with our design process. We own a weird lot and wanted to build a double long garage (40’x16’) instead of a side by side double garage(24’x24’). He was very receptive and a good listener. He was very flexible and willing to help us make our atypical vision happen.
Once the project started all the work flowed promptly. All the different contractors were profession and did high quality work. The demolition, concrete slab pouring, framing, roofing and electrical workers were easy to work with, were punctual and easy to talk with when we had questions. The workers were kind and kept the job site neat and tidy.
Travis the project manager did a great job with communicating and responding to our calls and text messages when we had questions or concerns. Having your backyard become a construction zone can be more stressful than anticipated so this support was very helpful.
All in all I would highly recommend building your garage with Minneapolis Garage builders. They do high quality work and the customer support was outstanding.

Minneapolis garage replaced our 1 car garage with a new 2 car garage and attached finished office space. They helped us figure out the best place in our yard for the new garage, worked through all the permitting and plans, and we could not be happier with it. Due to adding a finished space, the project did experience some delays outside of their control. They did a great job keeping us informed and keeping the project moving where they could control it. If we had just built a standard garage the project would have been done within the agreed upon timeline. The price was very fair for what we got. Highly recommend!

The entire team at Minneapolis Garage Builders were fantastic! They were recommended to us by a Design Build company and it was a smooth process from start to finish. Great communication throughout the build and each team was considerate and friendly to work with. They took the time to explain the entire process before beginning and had all information in a handy printout for me to reference along with all their contact information.
