I highly recommend Dean and his experienced team for excellent landscaping with great customer service. They transformed my backyard from a sloped space overrun with weeds into a perfectly level sport court. They even figured out a way to use pavers as the base for the court so that I met requirements for permeable area in my yard. It was all done with precision, speed and courtesy. Dean might not be the low budget option, but he is likely to get it done right the first time, and made to last.

Deans vision for our new build front and backyard was magical. It went beyond what we could have imagined and he and his crew carried it out to perfection. From the planning and ideas stage, to the actual start and finish of the project, Dean was hands on with his crew. They were all professional, courteous, willing to make changes mid process and always went the extra mile. Each night everything was cleaned up and at the end of the project, the yard, landscaping, pond, trees and plants were all meticulous. A+ customer service in all areas. Save your money on consulting fees to other landscaping companies (we paid for several) and just go with Dean! He stood apart by sharing a vision from the start so we moved forward with purchasing his plans and hiring his company to TOTALLY transform our yard. Other companies told us how hard it was to find and retain workers but Dean mentioned his crew had been with him for years, which spoke volumes.

The entire job took 10 days. We went from worn out grass to the addition of a retaining wall, two new gorgeous sets of steps, new sod, a beautiful patio and walkways, a new gate and addition of a gutter, 25 new trees and over 400 perennials.

Dean’s crew is INCREDIBLE - professional, friendly, smart, responsive, helpful, and so hard working! Since completion last week Dean has been very prompt in responding to all our questions about plant and tree care. Everything is thriving and growing already and we couldn’t be happier we went with Dean!

Dean and his team did a fantastic job on our backyard (new fence with arbor, new patio, fire feature, lighting) and we’re 100% hiring them to transform our front yard next. We actually chose Dean by looking at online reviews, and I can confirm that the great reviews are legit. The customer service was 10/10.

Dean was communicative, upfront about pricing, and careful to make sure he understood our vision. When there was a slight cosmetic defect on an item he ordered for our yard - which we wouldn’t have even noticed - he pointed it out and offered a replacement or discount. The guys who spent a few weeks in our yard doing the day-to-day work were polite, friendly, and great at what they do.

Dean did an amazing job from the beginning when we met last Fall to develop a plan to completion of our landscaping project this summer.
Initially we planned on updating existing landscaping of rock gardens around our home, but then we expanded that to add a patio off our deck.
Our goal was to have a hot tub, sauna and shed.
Deans expertise came up with a plan to use the side our home that wasn’t used, and also included a new living area with fire pit.
From day one, we found Dean to be a man of character, with immense experience with stone and flowers and the ability to see a space and create a special space for your family.
In addition, his team of Sroy, Vladimir and Margaret were wonderful to work with for the 6 weeks it took to get the job done.
We would highly recommend Dean and his team for any project you may have.

Dean and his crew were great to work with. In my experience, many contractors send their A-team to win the project, and then the crew you get is hit or miss. Not with Dean’s crew. The same quality I saw in the design stage showed up with the people who did the work. When something in the plan didn’t make sense in real life, they proactively adjusted and used great judgment. Truly a design-build team. Very happy with both the quality of the work and the people.

We contacted Dean Bjorkstrand in January, to discuss ways to solve a drainage problem we had at our front entrance, and to redo our patio in the back yard. Dean responded quickly and came over to meet with us, and on the spot he had several ideas how to fix our drainage, and several other suggestions regarding the patio and walkways. He had design drawings and price estimates back to us within two weeks.

We ended up hiring Dean Bjorkstrand, Inc. to redo the grading at the front entrance, install a couple of underground drains, lay new bluestone, and install a new stone retaining wall across the front of the house. They also installed a new patio with pergola and walkway, along with new lighting in front and back. We anxiously watched as the first rain fell after completion of the project, and everything worked like a charm: no risk of water getting into the basement!

Beyond the drainage fixes, we were blown away by how beautifully everything turned out. I soon learned to trust Dean's judgment - he has a keen eye for design, and he knew what would look right with our house and surroundings. I had a few doubts beforehand, but everything he recommended looks fantastic.

The customer service provided by Dean and his crew was superb at every step of the project - they responded promptly to all questions and concerns, and always listened carefully to make sure we were on the same page. I would highly recommend Dean Bjorkstrand, Inc. for anyone considering a large or small hardscaping project.

We hired Dean to create a backyard oasis for our new construction home . The yard was a complete blank slate and Dean made every aspect from design to material selection easy, creative and enjoyable. His team executed the large plan with ease and were wonderful to have on property for the weeks it took to complete. I highly recommend them for any landscape project big or small.

Twin City Landscape, Debbie and her crew have been great to work with. I’ve used them twice for patio and sidewalk pavers. I’ve gotten many compliments even from strangers walking by on the street. Cost is fair too. I recommend using them for any landscaping projects you may have.
