Twin City Landscape removed old wood retaining walls in our backyard, built two new stone retaining walls and a patio for us last November. Debbie and her crew listened carefully to our needs and adjusted the design accordingly. We are very pleased with the work and highly recommend them.

Debbie and her crew were very thoughtful in the design they provided for our patio. They got the work done efficiently and beautifully so we were able to enjoy our summer out on the patio last summer. They are most certainly THE BEST!!

I loved working with Debbie! She took the time to understand my goals and offered great suggestions to replace my retaining wall. She and her team do excellent work. I have received many compliments on the new wall!

A big shout out to Twin City Landscape. I have had 3 small jobs spread out over 4 yrs. They always worked me in between the bigger projects (where other companies won't give you the time of day because the project was too small). Each time they came organized. Came to my front door and the foreman introduced himself. Cleaned up everything before leaving and completed the job with a professional respect of my exiting property. The very next day, the owner came by to inspect the work and inquire if the project was completed as expected. I really have great respect for a company like this!

We hired this firm twice — for two patio installations at two different homes. In both cases, the results were eye-pleasing and durable. Crew foreman Alex was professional and knowledgeable, and his crew were hard workers, even when summer temps made the outdoors a steam bath. Company owner Debbie Petschl was sensitive to our timetable and budget constraints. I recommend Twin City Landscaping without reservation.

Yesterday a Twin City Landscape contractor rutted our front lawn by driving a large concrete block-filled flatbed truck on it, while working on our neighbor's backyard patio.

I value our relationship with our lovely neighbors. I would not hire a contractor that damages neighboring property like this.

The entire team was professional from start to finish — they showed up on time, kept the area clean, and were always happy to answer any questions along the way. The attention to detail really stood out, especially the creative touch they added in the corner transitions — it gives the whole patio such a unique, finished look. After getting overpriced bids from a couple businesses and funny bookkeeping glitch from another I got in touch with Twin Cities Landscape. The minute Deb showed up and we began discussing the project of new front retaining wall and stairs I had a great feeling. We really understood each other and what to do. Deb was open to use other suppliers they typically didnt use to make sure my wife got color she wanted. Communication was great throughout as we made changes to the plan as we went. The price was very fair and what I expected. She was up front on potential things that could be additional costs once the digging started so no surprises. Once started her crew was the there every day on time and great to work with. It turned out fantastic and so many compliments from neighbors.A great experiene and I would recommend from beginning to end. Communication throughout was prompt and all questions addressed. I can’t say enough about the level of professionalism, communication and quality of the work done by Debbie and her teams. We had at any point between one or two teams led by Alex working on our corner property project.
They replaced a failing railroad tie retaining wall that covered three sides of our property, which reached 5’ in height in some areas. This required architectural considerations which Debbie handled perfectly. We looked at retaining wall bricks in person at a few different places, and also looked at stair replacements. We communicated with Debbie we wanted the wall even (so it doesn’t look wavy), as we’ve seen some uneven retaining walls walking around. They were paid a lot of attention to detail, and avoided it looking wavy, and made sure we had input all the way through the build.
Additionally, they expanded our driveway to allow another car to park, fixed water creeping into my neighbors garage by fixing the grade and redirecting water away from property lines, and replaced our pitted stamped concrete path going up to our house with beautiful herringbone patterned bricks.
Debbie also coordinated multiple contractors to manage in ground sprinkler modifications, ULV lighting additions, and replacing my old fence. They were very respectful of our property, and all the plants/gardens they worked around.
Their work is top notch, and I would change nothing about my experience, it was exactly what we wanted. I’d use their services again without a doubt!

Deb and her team were absolutely awesome to work with. From the very beginning, she guided us through the design phase of our backyard project, creating multiple concept plans, suggesting plants and shrubs, and even meeting us in person to pick out the brick. Sebastian was on-site every day, overseeing the removal of the old patio, landscape rock, and trees, and making sure the installation of the new patio, edging, mulch, plants, and reseeding went perfectly. Deb, the owner, personally stopped by several times throughout the project to check on progress and help make decisions, which gave us a lot of confidence.

The end result was exactly what we were hoping for—high-quality work at a price that came in much lower than the other bids we received. We were so happy with the experience that we’ve already scheduled Twin City Landscape to return next year to redo our front yard landscaping. Highly recommend!

I had them come out to look at my retaining wall on the side of my house. They explained to me my options and I received an estimate for the work in 24 hours. Very professional.

They woke our neighborhood shortly after 7am with loud lawn work, and were extraordinarily rude about it when we asked them to consider starting later. Perhaps you might get a nice lawn, but you’ll also get angry neighbors. Beware.

We had Giving Treen Gardens come out for a garden consultation this spring. I was hopeful that my husband would consider changing to a non-toxic approach to lawn care. We also had a tree we were concerned with, wanted some idea on how to build a better bird habitat, and wanted less maintenance in general. They helped us feel empowered! So much wonderful education. They are clearly knowledgeable and passionate about their work! Now it's August, we are lawn chemical free and it's still looks great! And we have an affordable 3 year plan to build upon.
