Paul was able to repair our tub faucet by overcoming a tile installer's mistake. His efforts saved us significant added expense because he did not have to replace the faucet. I have hired Paul for three different projects and would highly recommend his plumbing services.

Update - Just used Athena Care again for a blown irrigation shut off valve. This had been a hard problem to figure out what had caused the issue to begin with and Paul tracked it down to a valve inside the house. He is always professional, quick, and uses high quality parts. Old review: I have been using Athena Care for twenty years. Paul is a plumber who knows his trade and gets the job done right. He also will give solid advice and share solutions that don’t require his home visit if that is an option. I recommend him highly.

I have hired Paul to work on several small plumbing projects and I've been very pleased with his services and results. He responds quickly, arrives on time, provides an estimate before the starts his work, and completes the work effectively and efficiently. I would definitely recommend Paul for any plumbing project.

Paul was great. I was stressing out about a leak that I needed to get fixed quickly but that wasn't an emergency. He was able to come out less than 48 hours after my original call. He quoted me a very reasonable price, stayed within the quoted amount, got the job done quickly and even went out of his way to save me money by suggesting reusing some parts instead of trying to up-sell me on brand new ones. I will definitely be recommending Paul to friends and contacting him again for any plumbing work I need done in the future.

Paul replaced a water heater in my home quickly and efficiently. He is a very bright guy and did an excellent job - including some of the complexities of my heater (new gas valve, different water valves, etc). His prices were very fair for the work he did - he is a highly skilled tradesman with quality parts.

Further, it was enjoyable to speak with Paul as he was working to learn about how he manages his business and takes care of his customers. He's of the best service providers I've used.

Paul was new to us when he came to fix a burst pipe in our basement. He came highly recommended on Next Door. He was terrific! Not only did he fix the problem, he also worked with us on preventing the issue from happening again. He installed an outdoor spigot that was far superior to the one we had. He offered to replace it with the same one or do the upgrade - our choice. We chose the slightly more option and it works so much better. We are very grateful to Paul for his professional work, his can-do spirit, and his advice. We will definitely contact him when we have another issue.

During the cold snap, our shower would not drain and I tried everything to fix it (snake, plunger, all the tools I had). I called Paul who I'm sure was extremely busy with other problems. Paul communicated very well when he would be by, was extremely professional, straight forward, and had amazing rates. Paul from Athena Care has done a few projects for us this past few months. He's been absolutely terrific to work with. You immediately know you can trust Paul with your home, as he is personable and obviously completely honest and hard-working. Paul was very knowledgeable and upfront through our multiple plumbing issues. He rearranged his schedule in order to get our new water heater installed within 36 hours of contacting him and everything went smoothly. I called up Soderlin because of the great reviews they had on Google and I was not disappointed. Jeff showed up in a snow storm and quickly diagnosed my issues and resolved them efficiently. He delivered excellent customer service and I will not hesitate to call Soderlin up in the future!

I called up Soderlin again for a look at the gas line to my dryer. Justin came by and was super helpful. He got my issue fixed and even gave me great suggestions and thoughts for future work that might need to be done. I will continue reaching out to them for service!

I continue to receive excellent customer service from the folks at Soderlin. They have installed air conditioning, fixed my kitchen sink, redone my gas line and installed my oven. I've been pleased every time I've worked with them.

I highly recommend Soderlin. For several weeks our boiler kept intermittently shutting off. I called two other plumbing and heating companies and they couldn't figure out the cause. I called Soderlin and Jeff Johnson was able to diagnose the problem immediately and fix the boiler that day. It has been running great ever since. Jeff was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. When do you write a review when someone hasn't come to your house or done work? Answer: When you call them and the fantastic woman (Lisa) on the other end of the line talks you through everything you need in one phone call!

I bought an old house and inherited a heating system I did not understand. it wouldn't get started. After calling, Lisa asked expert problem-solving questions, researched a resource online and then told me where to find it, and then offered to stay on the line while I tried. And IT WORKED! Problem solved, for only the cost of a "7" minute phone call! AMAZING!

This isn't a business that will just take call, ask for an address and send someone out and charge you $200 to tell you something simple, or try to uncharge you on something you don't need. They are fair, honest, helpful and professional. So, while I didn't need Soderlin Plumbing Heating & AC to come to my house today, I can promise them (and all of you who are reading this) they will be my first call next time I actually do need service!

I have no complaints with the work that Soderlin did or with my interactions with the company.
However, they charged me a fixed rate bid for a job that took the plumber less than 1.5 hours and I paid about $800 in labor for this less than 1.5 hours of work. I will never use them again and I would recommend that anyone who is looking for plumbing work, insist on a time and materials bid only!
I did contact 3 plumbers about my job and they all gave the same fixed bid quote. I think they are using the same pricing guide and it is probably worth a complaint to the MN Attorney General about this apparent collusion in pricing.

These guys were fantastic! Super prompt, thorough, and knowledgeable. Joel came to the house initially and was so good to work with. We have 100+ year old home and they knew exactly what to do. Absolutely use them!

We have been in our home for 30 years and have always looked to Soderlin for maintenance and repair of our gas hot water and forced air heating system. For the last several years, Jeff Johnson has been the fellow who has served us. He is very knowlegeable, efficient and communicates clearly. And he knows our system well. We had a leaking water heater that needed to be replaced. We had called the original installer to fix it. We spent days trying to get them to give us a quote and install a new water heater, all the while having to mop up leaking water regularly. Exasperated that we were getting no where, I called Soderlin this morning. They sent Jeff Johnson out within the hour. He was fabulous! He discussed our options with me. Also, he took the time to get on the phone and discuss the options with my husband, who had many questions. With all questions answered, we went ahead with the new water heater, which is part of a high energy system, and not your usual water heater. By 1:00 pm we had the new water heater installed! It was incredible that: 1) Soderlin had the one we needed on hand, 2) that they could get it to us within an hour, and 3) that it could be installed immediately. Jeff was fantastic to work with - professional, personable, knowledgeable, patient with our questions and all around a great person to be working with. We are totally satisfied with the process and workmanship.

There are Plumbing companies and then there is Soderlin Plumbing. Plumbing repair and new build installation is expensive, the point is not to try save every dollar you can by going with a cheaper quote, the point is to have the plumbing company do what you want done and to be confident with it when it's done. We have hired Soderlin several times over the 20 years that we have owned our home and they have always done excellent work for us. Several years ago Soderlin replaced our boiler and we were very happy with their work. So when the time came this winter to renovate our 2nd floor bathroom and add 2nd floor laundry to our home there was only one choice in our minds as to who to hire for the plumbing work - we called Soderlin. Jeff Taylor has visited our home twice over the past few months, and has also been very responsive via text, to help us plan for and execute this large and complex project. We are otherwise completing most of the renovation work ourselves and Jeff has been invaluable in helping us with items procurement and general planning. We are very much looking forward to Jeff completing this work for us next week so we can proceed with the project. We will always call Soderlin for our plumbing needs.
