Jordan was quick and efficient in replacing a bad breaker in my electric panel. He provided multiple options for how the repair could be completed and at what cost. He also provided an estimate to replace all of my old arc fault breakers to avoid repeat house calls. Will definitely use Randy’s in future!

Randy is amazing. Hands down. We engaged him for setting up our Tesla EV charger. The project got extended by couple of days to meet the city regulations. He patiently addressed all the changes. I would recommend Randy to any electrical work.

Richard and his apprentice were kind and open to any questions I had. I didn’t mind the $75 fee for the initial assessment because I thought I would be using their business. Unfortunately, I feel like I paid $75 to get the rug pulled out from under me. I needed some CT metering installed for a new water heater and the quote was 5 times higher than what I expected…I asked around and there wasn’t a single person who understood why it would be so expensive. I found a few other companies who would do the work for a fraction of the cost.
Simply put: They are nice guys and they are straight forward about their pricing. However, it seems they must be a top-tier company for top tier clientele, which is just too much for me.

Chris was very knowledgeable, and his assessment of the issue I had was spot on! I was appreciative of Randy's working me into their schedule and not charge me an emergency fee! Thanks again, and I will be in contact to have the pipe you originally came out for fixed!

As a member of Randy's Home Club, I received a free Electrical Home Inspection. Jeremy and his apprentice were very thorough in going through my home and inspecting my electrical system. He provided me with several options I may want to consider to improve the electrical safety of my home and bring it up to current code. I appreciate that there was no hard sell and I was welcome to receive the information by email to consider my options at my own pace.

I will continue to use Randy's Electric & Plumbing for my electrical and plumbing needs.

Josh was very informative. I knew the price before he started. He was willing to give me advice for things that needed to be done that I could do myself. A really nice person very professional.

Tried to replace my entire system when all I need a replacement pump cartridge for my in floor heat. They were estimating several thousand dollars when I needs <$200 replacement pump cartridge. I do not think this is ethical.

I called for a repair on two outlets and a switch that were wired incorrectly in series, while on-site Jeremy asked if I had any other issues that I knew of and I mentioned a potential voltage drop on another circuit that fed my washer and dryer. While inspecting the issue it was discovered that the breaker was arcing and actually melted onto the bud at of the panel. He provided me with options for a full panel replacement and upgrade. The option was chosen and the following day Jeremy and his apprentice came and took care of everything. Extremely professional and both of them went far above and beyond my expectations. I will absolutely recommend their services.

Overall, our electrician was excellent — very knowledgeable, professional, and clearly skilled at what he does. The quality of work was top-notch.

That said, the pricing felt on the high side. For example, they quoted around $1,000 to install a new bathroom exhaust fan and about $400 to wire our two fire alarms, so we decided to skip those items and do them ourselves.

In total, we paid about $2,300 for three GFCI outlets, a new LED dimmer switch, two new outlets and some minor code compliance updates to our electrical panel.

One small hiccup — our under-cabinet light wiring was accidentally missed, but we reached out to have that work finished. I think this happened because the invoice and estimation process relies on the electrician entering details into a tablet from the truck; that made it easier for things to get overlooked as we opted in and out of things.

A simple checklist or whiteboard system might make that process smoother.

Overall, we were very happy with the electrician’s skill and professionalism, but given the pricing, we’ll likely seek a few additional bids for future projects like our EV connection.

note: I lowered my rating to emphasize our concern with the prices-- and the way that Randy's Electric responds to reviews that mention that issue; IMO, Randy's Electric defends entitlement over value. While I definitely support a livable wage-- and I'm kind of OK with what we paid, I'm still interested in finding better value and/or doing more things myself.

Had an event this morning and needed same day electrical service. Travis was here within 1.5 hours and was able to troubleshoot, repair and complete the job quickly. He took the time to explain the process before he got started and
Showed me the repaired area before he buttoned it up. Nice guy and professional.

I had Randy's Electric help with installation after the previous installer (i.e. handyman) was unable to complete installation. I was able to get a quick response from Randy's Electric, able to get installation scheduled quickly and the installation process itself was quick and professional. No complaints thus far. I would definitely recommend them if you run into issues on your project and need the project to be salvaged and completed correctly.

I am super impressed with the professionalism and knowledge. Josh listened and solved my issues and I was charged a fair price for all the things he fixed. He also went out of his way to educate me on how certain bulbs can cause an arc failure! I will be calling these guys again next time I need help!

We have contracted with Randy’s several times this year. Each time, we’ve know exactly who is arriving when and we have been kept abreast of whichever project. This most recent project involved coordination with Xcel. Zach Christianson from Randy’s was super responsive in answering questions as they arose and also made some good suggestions improving the result. No complaints whatsoever. Project since completed (had to wait on Xcel). We now have completely new garage wiring and an EV charging station. The finished work looks and works flawlessly. Zach and crew professional and friendly. Highly recommend.
