This was my first time using a cleaning service and I’m pretty disappointed in my overall experience. I needed a deep clean for an empty house and ended up being recommended their “move-out” cleaning online. I went ahead and booked that, then spoke with someone over the phone going over that expectation (walls and baseboards needed to be washed, etc.) and was assured that would all be good under their “move-out” cleaning. It was not.

The cleaning that was done was beautiful and sparkling, but none of the baseboards or walls were cleaned. I was told by the supervisor that showed up at the end of the cleaning that those services were either extra or not offered at all by the company, despite confirming that was a big piece of my intention for booking in the first place. I was also notified that “maybe I just didn’t ask the right questions” when I confirmed on the phone, which is less than helpful.

Apparently if you’re going to use their services, you’re better off calling rather than booking online. And make sure you look up ALL the questions you’re supposed to ask, because they sure won’t help you out there.

Don’t hire !! Overpriced for their service level of cleanings and poor customer care / managers who don’t take ownership of the wrongdoings!

We had several instances where cleanings were done quickly (45 minutes) and poor quality. Examples: We needed to remind the cleaning crew to make our bed. Our main floor wasn’t mopped. The area rug in our main living room wasn’t vacuumed.

Maid Brigade has a policy where they ‘assure their quality by coming back and doing it right’. This is frustrating because I wanted them to do it correct the first time. Sue and Kasia are the managers/supervisors. Their customer care isn’t great. When I would share my complaints with Maid Brigade, Sue would clearly annoyed. Me voicing my concern was very inconvenient for her. VERY passive aggressive comments and tone.

We have since left Maid Brigade for a different cleaning service.

Stay away from MB. They’ll just cause you more headaches!

Jackie and Amanda do a wonderful job of cleaning our facility. They are professional, friendly, and they make sure everything is done as we need it.

Customer since 2021. I appreciate that they have at least one consistent team member for my cleanings so there is someone familiar who comes almost every time. While I haven't had any reason to call in for a couple years now that we are in sync, when I first started using the service and we were learning each other's ways and preferences, they were very responsive and even sent someone back to detail the things I felt had been missed. They've been very good with my pets and always considerate when I'm working from home about getting my office ready to go so I don't lose time. I'm pleased that I was able to get on their schedule so quickly and plan to stay a customer.

Bought a new home and seller agreed to have it professionally cleaned as part of the purchase agreement. If what I found is indicative of the quality of Maid Brigade's work, I would say, save your money. The place doesn't even smell clean. Note the cobweb in one of the photos.
