I have been waiting for service for 12 DAYS!!! I was told last week when I called that I would get a call back about service yesterday or today. I tried to call the number listed and it just tells me the voicemail box is full. I'm stuck with this "company" as a service provider through a home warranty company - I have STANDING WATER AND MOLD GROWING IN MY DISHWASHER!!! Please tell me I don't need to call my lawyer to get my dishwasher fixed...

Lonnie does a great job everytime he comes to service our AC’s. I aways request AC Appliance Specialist when I call my home warranty company.

The repairman that came out was very rude when he walked inside my home he didnt speak my ac unit runs consistently on auto without cutting off. He told me that was because of my hallway that has never been remolded when I asked whats causing it to run like that he said he didnt know. He told me I needed insulation which was added then he stated my roof was the problem which is only 2 years old with air vents. Basically he put the blame on everything but the unit being over 30 years old, He talked alot and he was lazy. He sat in his car 25 minutes before he entered my home. Never again will I used this company hard to reach mailbox stays full.

Long story short, my family's been using Lonnie/team 15+ years ...I will let a problem linger until Lonnie can look at it!!! If he can't one of his designated team members can and will... All are professional along with office staff, Mrs. Rory and crew!!! Now all of my friends are 'Team AC & Appliance-Lonnie'...One friend needed the number a few weeks ago...she's out of town, but made an appointment for her son to meet Lonnie or his representative at her home. Long live the great service, professionalism and affordable quality care provided to our appliances/home issues via AC & Appliance-Lonnie!!!!

So, I left a review on Reed’s website — and wouldn’t you know it, every single one is a sparkling 5 stars. Either they’re performing HVAC miracles… or someone’s got a heavy hand on the delete key. 🧽✨

Here’s my experience: I got home after a week of travel to find my AC completely off. I checked the basics — thermostat battery, breakers, etc. — but no luck. I called around, and Reed was the only company that had time to come out. At the time, I was relieved. Now… I have an idea why they had availability.

The so-called skilled technician arrived and diagnosed the issue as a bad coil — said it needed replacing for $280. Not great, but I figured okay, let’s get it fixed. Then he went out to inspect the outside unit, called me over, and showed me some exposed wires. “Actually,” he says, “it’s not the coil — the short happened here.” I thought, well, maybe that’s a good thing — wires have to be cheaper than a coil, right? Nope. “That’ll be $280 to fix.” Funny coincidence — same exact price as the original issue. I raised an eyebrow and said, “You’ve got to be kidding me.” suddenly, without hesitation $180. Impressive how fast that price dropped $100.

So, I said, it's hot and I'll have air. I said sure, go ahead and fix the wires. Twenty minutes later, he’s back with a plot twist: “Actually, the short damaged your air compressor and is shot. He begins to explain that the unit should be under warranty and if I knew the owners name that had it installed, I could get it fixed for about $2,200 if it's under warranty, $5,000+ if it's not.” At that point, I felt like I was in an episode of HVAC: The Upsell Chronicles.

Not entirely convinced, I brought in another company for a second opinion. Guess what? The only issue was the wiring. Compressor? Totally fine. They not only fixed the wiring but gave me a complete inspection all for the low price of $195. No drama, no doom, no five-grand surprises.

Moral of the story: If you're in or around Vicksburg, MS and you're having electrical issues AC/Heater "DO NOT CALL REED" Call: Martin Air Conditioning & Elect. You will be glad you did. I hope this helps.

Reeds Reasonable Heating sand Cooling and was here to fix our air conditioner the afternoon that I called that morning! In Mississippi this is a/c repairs busiest time of year! Others had told me I might wait as long as a month!
Our technician, Andrew, was very professional and he checked out everything about our unit, diagnosed and fixed it in a timely manner. Reeds is who I’ll call if I have another a/c issue!

They arrived on time, explained the problem very well, and told me the most cost effective solution, even though it meant going to an electrician and not using them. Will definitely call them next time a problem arises.
