Highly remarkable! I had a tree removed and some pruning done. Ray's is reasonably priced, the office staff and the tree crew was very professional and proficient with their work and did a fantastic job! They used a piece of equipment called a Spider, which caused very minor damage to my yard. Before I could even call, Ray's had a worker out who repaired the yard perfectly. Great service!

I was recommended to use Ray's from a close friend who had previously had some work done. I am glad i took his advise.

The crew arrived on time and in a professional manner. John was well rounded and was very in depth of the work that was being completed. 3 small trees and some overhanging brush over my driveway were removed as discussed as well as some clearance in the back yard by the pool and deck. Clean up was outstanding as well. I'm impressed considering the amount of tree work and different companies that i have used in the past. Great job and very professional crew you guys sent out.

After having some not so good experiences with other tree removal companies (STL Tree Services in particular), I HIGHLY recommend Ray's. They tackled a large Pin Oak removal so easily and professionally. They gave a great bid, arranged electrical line drop, had a full crew show up on time and had all the heavy machinery needed to make a monster job look easy. They cleaned up thoroughly and even followed up a few days later with laying seed where there was a very minor bit of lawn damage. Don't waste time with any other company than Ray's.

I have used Ray's in the past and they did a terrific job, so I called them again. Even though I called more than one company to get a quote, it was Ray's that returned my call promptly and came out immediately to give me a quote. If people don't call me back, then they obviously do not want (nor have earned) my business. Without getting another quote, I stuck with Ray's and was very happy once again. While I cannot comment on the price (other than saying that it was reasonable), the team was professional, courteous and did a fantastic job...both cutting down the large limbs and cleaning up afterwards. Kudos to the team of Mark, Jimmy R, Andrew, Dustin and Adam. I highly recommend Ray's and will call them again in the future.

We had a great experience with Ray’s tree. Easy to work with, reasonable and accurate quote, and great communication. We had a tree removed along a fence line, and they went above and beyond by bringing a sheet of plywood to temporarily fill the fence gap until we could install a new section. We couldn’t be happier with the experience

On April 28 2023, we had two maple trees that had grown large over our driveway and required pruning and general shaping. The branches were interfering with cars parked on the driveway. The crew - Dustin W., Adam D., and Jimmy R. came out first thing in the morning and proceeded to trim the maples and did a great job of making the trees much more compatible with the view from the street of our two story house. Our house looks much cleaner and we no longer worry about visitors having issues with parking on our driveway. The did a great job of cleaning up and took some extra effort to make sure the remaining trees looked good since the bigger trees blocked the view until they were trimmed. They were very friendly and communicated well so we knew what to expect. Very happy and will continue to use this company's tree service. We have had very good luck for years with Ray's Tree Service and are very glad the tradition continues.

Ray's was very professional and easy to work with. The crew had a lot to work around including being right next to a busy street so we were very impressed with their work. We would definitely recommend them and will be using them for all our tree needs in the future.

The company came out to trim my bushes. I was unhappy with the result. I emailed them pictures (after the trim) with descriptions of my expectations. An arborist came out to the house to discuss it. We disagreed on symmetry & the difference in height between the two bushes. I spent 2 hours outside on a ladder fixing the mistakes. When I asked for a discount, he paused, chuckled, then reluctantly agreed. One star.

This company scheduled a two-hour window to come measure the circumference of a tree to be taken down in order to provide an estimate. Company didn't show, and didn't call. Scheduled for the next day; again, company didn't show and didn't call. Company, unaware our cameras capture vehicles and people on the property, claimed a guy came by and took a picture. Never happened. I just hate when companies send invisible men in invisible trucks.

A Ray's representative was at my house the day after I called to inquire about using their services. The man that came out was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations on trimming our trees. The crew showed up a couple of weeks later as promised and did the entire job in approx. five hours with absolutely no issues. The clean up was spectacular. Very professional all the way around and I highly recommend them to anyone.

Steer clear of Ray’s Tree Service. They used my neighbor’s driveway to access my trees and left a large oil leak on the driveway. It took almost two months of unsuccessful attempts to remove it (scrubbing with detergent, power washing) before they finally resealed the driveway. They wanted to ridiculously seal two-thirds of the driveway

Ray's Tree Service did a great job cutting down and removing 2 huge trees from my backyard. I know it wasn't an easy job, but they handled it very well. Their bid was $2000 less than my other bid. I was very happy with their service! I will definitely use them again!

Street sweeping at 4:30-5 AM in violation of local ordinances and 20ft from living rooms. Astounding lack of common sense. Other reviews shows they've committed to changing this in the past, but those were apparently insincere as they are doing the same thing as I type this.

See other disingenuous stuff in reviews like claiming a truck with their own website in it is another company as theirs would never do XYZ. Avoid at all costs.
