Tony and his team are true masters of their craft! They removed a huge tulip tree in my small backyard with safety, care, and precision. Also, the follow-up stump grinding job was great along with debris cleanup. I recommend Simply Trees without any hesitation. It'll be hard to find another team that loves what they do and these guys do their jobs well!

Tony and his crew from Simply Trees did a great job for us today taking down several trees and trimming another. They were all professional and very hard working. The price quoted was very reasonable. Well done! Highly recommend.

Tony and the crew were fantastic. They had to use a 72" lift to "deadwood", crown trim and to remove several limbs in order to raise the canopy on our oak tree. I watched the whole process, not because I was concerned about the job they were doing, but just in awe of the detail they went to in order to get the job done right. Tony and I caught up on life and discussed minor details of the job that was being done. No question about it, he is the professional, but he did ask my opinion when we got down to the nitty gritty of the job. Highly recommend them for your trees. By the way, we got 3 bids and Tony was in the middle but very close to the lowest. His description of what they were going to do won the job. When I saw the low bid's work next door, we made the right choice.

Tony and the guys removed a 60' catalpa tree from my front yard in Maplewood. As it turns out, the tree was mostly hollow on the inside, truly an accident waiting to happen. Took the tree down completely, removed all of the debris and cleaned up very thoroughly. Made this a very good experience, and surely saved me from a lot of grief! Thanks guys!

I had Tony and crew out this past week and couldn't be happier with the result. Within 5 hours they had 6 trees removed and another tree expertly trimed. What I most appreciated was the great job of keeping the yard clean and laying down protective sheets for their equipment. Would never know they were there. Very impressed and will use them again. Thank you!

I would give ZERO stars if I could. Awful. Not to be trusted. If you do make the mistake of hiring him, be sure to be there when his men are working, to ensure they do what you want, and don't take the easy way.

They did not tell me they would be filling my stumps with wood chips instead of soil. They also told me they would leave me some 18 inch cuts for me to chop into firewood, instead they left me with a pile of 4-6 foot logs.

Rays does excellent work. Cleanup was excellent. And their arborist jack explained everything in advance. He was great to work with.

Horrible experience with every level of this company. They will not complete all the work in the contract then dodge your calls. Don't worry while dodging your calls they are still billing you. Finally they emailed and said they wouldn't be returning. I can't believe people do business like this! Please trust all of these bad reviews! Find a better company.

The crew members are respectful, and professional. They worked quickly. They cleaned up tree, and debris really well. I will use service again if necessary!

Ray's cut down a tree at my neighbors house, hit our house with a branch in the process, and did not bother to inspect our house for damage or come to our door to discuss it despite the fact that our front door was open and I was clearly home. They left without as much as a glance in our direction. Extremely unprofessional and shady workers.

It took three phone calls to them to schedule a time to meet for an estimate (they never returned my first two calls). On the day of the estimate, they called to confirm our 4:30 pm appointment, and I confirmed the time. I also specifically requested that, if they were going to arrive much later than 4:30 pm, that they call me to let me know, so I could adjust my work schedule accordingly. By 6:45 pm, they had not shown up and never called to say why. I called the office twice while waiting for them to show up, and they had evidently gone home for the day. Such unprofessionalism - I am sick and tired of it. It seems to be the norm these days.

Friendly and professional crew. Easy to work with as they quickly cut down and removed tree. A few days later they came in and ground the stump and did a good clean up. Billed as quoted. I would recommend.

n the spring of 2017, I hired Ray's Tree Service to spray a gum tree. I was told that in order to do so, plywood would be placed on my lawn so they could get the truck close enough to the tree for propoer treatment. The truck arrived and they started spraying chemical at the tree from the truck which was still parked on the road. Shortly thereafter, a knock on the door - we cannot reach your tree so we are not going to do the job. Several days later Ray's Tree Service arrives again and starts spraying chemical at the tree from the truck which AGAIN was parked on the road. I walked outside and asked why they had not placed plywood on the lawn to reach the tree. The guy told me that it was not necessary and continued to spray from a huge sdistance at a huge, fully leafed out gum tree. This winter tons of gum balls are on the ground. I contatced Ray's and spoke to Bob Bushey and he said the need to place plywood on the lawn to get close enough to the tree never made it to the intruction sheet. I asked if I could get a refund. He said he would talk to the CEO. I just spoke to him after I contacted him (he never followed up on his own). He said "The CEO said there is nothing that can be done". Really?

Will not recommend any one to use them. Their service was worst than bad. Signed contract with them in April and show up once for two hours and only did very little and since then never show back up to complete the job. Been calling yet no one took the time to return call or bother to check what is needed to be done. Is unbelievable that company of such still can be around. If i am the owner I either fire those incharge or shut the business down completely. There is no way any business should provide poor quality services to their customers.

I have a mature River Birch Tree that took a beating due to cicadas and last year's drought. Ben, the arborist, came by and gave good advice. I can always depend on Ray's Tree Services.

I have used Rays several times and they always do a good job.
