I don’t like it when Seniors are taken advantage of. My mom called because she smelled an odor and they came by looked at the furnace told her it was old and rusty and wrote her an estimate to replace it. Charged her $90. No service at all was performed, just the estimate. Estimates should be free ! I wouldn’t recommend Comfort Solutions to anyone !

Dustin was the technician who serviced my home's Air Conditioner and Furnace. He was very friendly and was super helpful in answering all the questions I had. He took the time to explain every little detail and what I needed to be concerned about with my system.

Service was quick and thorough, and I'd highly recommend them for your next visit!

We have used Comfort Solutions for many years having our furnace and air conditioner checked. Three years ago it was necessary to replace both the furnace and air conditioner. Comfort Solutions did an excellent job. The warranty is good and we received a Spire rebate. The other day it was necessary to have a minor repair. We called first thing in the morning when they opened at 8:00. They very nicely scheduled us between 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Dustin, the technician, arrived at 11:30. In a matter of a couple hours he had the repair completed very nicely and the whole work area cleaned up. As the work was still all under warranty we did not owe anything. I highly recommend Comfort Solutions.

Purchased new HVAC unit 10/07/2025 $8,600.00 paid in full. Still waiting for solution from Comfort Solutions for issue of standard filters not fitting properly. Billy fixed issue with filters 11/18/2025. Yea 🎉

My experience with Townsend has been fantastic. From the sales people to the actual installation of the systems, everything went smoothly.

Townsend installed my system improperly; they put in gas valves for natural gas when I have propane. This caused soot build up, when I had them come out to fix it they got soot on my new carpet, after 2 yrs I had a service call from another company found Townsend hooked up my 2 stage blower as a 1 stage blower causing condensation to build up and rusting my gas tubes and the system would not run. Would run away from them.

I called last week set appointment up with them to come out on a Monday to get a price on a new ac unit and furnace for my house. It was the biggest mistake of my life. They where late and the man was rude would not answer any questions that I had and over talked me the whole time going to take my business where they treat me better!!!

I highly recommend using Townsend heating & cooling. They installed a complete ac and furnace and duct work 5 tears ago. Yesterday I had a problem with it. They came out within a couple of hours after I called and fix it.

So bumbed with this company. I called to get a quote, they came and didn't call me back with a quote. Almost 2 months later, and 3 calls on my part, I finally was told the project was too difficult and they don't have time right now. So apparently when they aren't getting your money they ignore you? I could have had another company out doing it a month ago. Bad costumer service. :( This is disheartening, the owner sounded so nice at the beginning. :(

We had our Heat and Air installed quickly and without any problems. The estimate was perfect and I'll never do without clean effects again. No dust, I love it. Don't hesitate to call them.

I schedule an apt to have someone out for an estimate and they didn't show the first time. When I called, the appointment never made it into the books and the woman I spoke to never apologized, but instead made it seem as though my last communication with the company was years ago. They rescheduled to have someone out who came and took a look and said they needed to get into the attic. He said he wasn't capable of climbing up the ladder so they would call us and have someone else out. No one called, so I followed up an set up another apt. This time, they called and said an emergency came up and that they would need to reschedule for two days later. Two days passed and they didn't show. Again. When I called, they said they attempted to call me (which they didnt), to let me know another emergency had arose, and they couldn't come again. The lady I spoke to never apologized, and when I told her when I was going with another company her response was "ok". After this third attempt, I chose to go with another company. Terrible.

I had a problem with my A/C unit.
I called and talked to Rich he is the owner.
He was very nice and personally came out the same day and fixed my air conditioner.
I highly recommend Townsend heating and cooling to anyone.

My a/c is working again and for that I’m grateful but your quotes should be a little closer to actual price. I’m already paying an arm and a leg for a blower motor (around $800)that probably only needed a module (around $500)but when I’m expecting under $1000 and it comes in above $1100 it adds to the feeling of being taken advantage of. But like I said my ac is working and minus a hiccup or two the company was very fast and friendly. Sticker shock sucks.

Follow up
Without request and totally unexpected they sent a check for the difference between the quote and the final bill. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again as this shows commitment to costumer satisfaction and that’s highly appreciated.

On a scale of 1 to 5, we rate Townsend Heating and Cooling a 6. Our initial pleasant and informative discussion about our heating and A.C. needs and options, was completely satisfying. We decided on a new Trane System . The installing technicians were friendly yet professional. Explanations along the way were welcomed . Personal instruction and illustration was given on the cleaning of the filter. The conversations we had with the Townsend office were helpful, and the response was prompt and friendly as well. We highly recommend Rich and his team.
