Constraction reviews in Grandview, Missouri

Restoration Carpentry finished my basement and I could not be more pleased with the results. They were very reasonably priced and the quality of work was excellent. They did a great job communicating with me throughout the process and the job was done on time. I will be hiring them again for my future remodeling needs.

The integrity of a business should stand out through the people that own and run it. I have known Josh for long time. His character and work ethic are of the highest quality when so many have lost the art of customer service and craftsmanship.
I have seen personally Josh's abilities behind a paint brush, and the walls of the canvas he paints on display the top-notch attention to detail WE as customers and potential customers need and desire from a company.
The reviews here speak volumes and truth.
I HIGHLY recommend Josh and his team to anyone for their next project.

Very professional staff, David worked within my budget to fix, replace and repair many issues in our older home. I would highly recommend Restoration Carpentry.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Restoration Carpentry and Tile for a primary bathroom and closet remodel, and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. From start to finish, their team demonstrated exceptional timeliness, quality, and neatness.

The project was completed on schedule, which was a huge relief given our busy lives. The craftsmanship was top-notch, with every detail of the bathroom and closet remodel executed to a high standard. We were particularly impressed with how they managed to keep the work area clean and organized throughout the process, which made the whole experience much more pleasant.

Restoration Carpentry and Tile proved to be a reliable and skilled choice for our remodeling needs. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship and professionalism in their home renovation projects.

I hired Restoration Carpentry for a new kitchen, bar, and main floor remodel. I would 100% hire them again. Expert craftsmanship, great communication, and outstanding quality work. I am completely satisfied. I interviewed a number of remodeling companies and what stood out for Restoration Carpentry is their decades of experience, ability to listen to my vision yet provide feedback, and the hands-on quality work - as if they were remodeling their own home.

From the moment I met with Josh regarding my vision for a kitchen remodel, I knew Restoration Carpentry was a step above the rest. This group of professional, experienced, hard-working, talented craftsmen is amazing! I was fortunate to have David as the lead on my project. No matter what my request was, his answer was “Yes, we can do that.” Then they would do it without skipping a beat. He even made great suggestions along the way!
The entire team is deeply committed to customer service and exceeding expectations. They communicate every step of the way. Their integrity is second to none. I could go on and on with accolades. Josh, David and the team made my dream kitchen come true. To say I’m extremely satisfied is an understatement. Restoration Carpentry is simply The Best!

David took out a load barring wall for us and completing opened up our living room, dining and living room. It feels like a new home and he was super great to work with. He let us do the demo and finishings to work in our budget. Will use him again for sure !

I had a basic idea for a deck. David and his crew came in and built something so much better than what I had thought of. He and his team were efficient, quick workers and the craftsmanship is unparalleled! We highly recommend them!

Josh and the Restoration Carpentry team were fabulous! I had several contractors prepare estimates for the restoration of our basement after it was destroyed after flooding. It was such an easy decision to go with Restoration Carpentry. Josh was responsive and easy to communicate with. He was thorough, polite and so easy to work with. They were so patient while I worked with my insurance company and had more than a few moments of indecisiveness. The whole team was polite and respectful while completing the work. They finished earlier than expected and communicated with me throughout the process. The quality of work was outstanding, I couldn't be happier. I will call them for any future work, and would recommend them without hesitation!

I'm very pleased with our recently-rebuilt porch. David and his crew are very professional, and delivered on a plan that included better structural support, better view, an added door, a doggie door and new screens. All of the wood was replaced, except the ceiling and headers. We went with 4x4 posts all the way around. The price was very reasonable, especially considering the amount of time and work that was needed. I think the pictures really tell the story best.

They remodeled my basement to have a kitchenette so quickly and beautifully! Worked patiently with me giving me multiple options within my budget to make my dream kitchenette come true! The work included Cabinets, tiling, a sink, electrical hookup/moving outlets, lighting, a butcher block island, and more. They made sure I approved everything in 3D rendering before it was done which is helpful for my poor imagination.

I had a fantastic experience even though Josh was not able to get to my job he provided carpenters who could work me into their schedule. I was able to get someone Josh referred to me with 48 hours and my entire experience was stellar. Mr. Aldy and his team were always on time and communicated throughout the entire process to make sure the final product was to my satisfaction. I am so thankful I found this company and actually spoke to someone (Josh) who really cared! You have a lifetime customer here! Thank you so much.
The pictures I provided below are of the bare area where I needed shelving created and the final picture is the beautiful birch shelving custom made for my once bare area but now full of character! ❤️

I had a total bathroom remodel and I can’t say enough good things about Restoration Carpentry & Tile and their entire crew. They were all very professional, polite and personable and their work is top notch. They went above and beyond with attention to detail and were able to stay in my budget. In fact after witnessing what great work they did I also had them retile my fireplace and stain my deck. I will definitely be having them come back for future jobs. If I could give them more than five stars I definitely would!
Before and after pictures….

We just spent our first week in our new bathroom! Five weeks ago, Josh and his team showed up to start the bathroom of our dreams. We started with a shower that was way too small and a bathtub that was way to big! From start to finish this team worked professionally, thoroughly, paid attention to detail, cleaned up after themselves and gave frequent updates on their progress. It was a thrill each day to come home and see the progress. They finished in 4 weeks and we are now very happy with our beautiful large shower and amazing soaker bathtub that is just the right size. We couldn’t be happier and if we decide to do more work, Josh and his team will be getting our call. Thanks, Josh, for an excellent job!

I can’t even begin to give justice to how incredible David’s, (owner of Restoration Carpentry), craftsmanship, keen attention to details, respect for my home, promptness, efficiency and doing what he said he would do in the time frame he said he could do it.

He was kind, patient and demonstrated superior knowledge of his trade.

Back story. I had a finished basement water flood. The insurance company referred a contractor who turned out to be most incompetent to do the work. I gave two opportunities to fix his substandard work. He continued to do substandard work.

The job was repairing or replacing drywall, painting and replacing all wood stained baseboards. After 3 week of working with this contractor I began the process of getting approval to get a competent contractor to redo his work.

I found David, and while I was told many constructors do not like to come in and take on another contractors flawed job, he hesitated not! He cared about me and my situation.

He did a superior professional job and in 4 days. I highly recommend Restoration Carpentry!

Can't say enough great things about the guys at Restoration Carpentry. We brought them in to finish our basement including a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, game area, and a theater area. From start to finish the process was pretty much exactly what I would have hoped for before we started. After having a few issues with a different contractor on a previous home improvement project we were a little nervous about jumping in again, but the guys at Restoration made everything so easy. The work was top notch, the price was fair, and finally, Jeremy and Josh were a blast to work with. Thank you for the great work gentlemen and we will be in touch down the road to update our main kitchen. Give these guys a call - they will take great care of you!

I can't say enough about this business and group of talented individuals. I am a stay-at-home mom of 2 kids so having contractors that are kind to my children and use appropriate language around them are very important to me. I've used KC Restoration and Tile for various projects around our home and I wouldn't trust anyone else. We recently had our entire kitchen renovated and my daughter's bathroom shower tiled and floor installed. Communication was top-notch even with us being on vacation multiple times throughout the process. Our project lead David was wonderful as well as Vernon, Joe, and Joshua. They have incredible integrity when it comes to home renovations. We have had multiple contractors cut corners in previous projects, but these guys go above and beyond to make sure that everything is done correctly. We absolutely LOVE our new spaces and are so thankful they made my dream of having a functional, updated kitchen was possible. We've recommended them to all our friends and family. They are the best!!

David (owner) and his team did a fantastic work on my basement recently. He and his team were very professional, and I’m very pleased with the level of quality in their work.

David kept me up to date on the status of work and informed me on what was planned going forward. He worked directly with my insurance company and provided professional advice during the entire process.

I felt David is trustworthy and honest person who provided valuable insights and advice during my decision process.

I would highly recommend David and his team!

Thanks David!

We worked with Tekton on a home addition, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Nate and his team were not only highly skilled, but also incredibly kind and professional. They kept us updated throughout the entire home renovation process and always took the time to answer our questions, making sure we felt comfortable with each step. We had a few change orders, but everything was handled seamlessly and stress-free. Their expertise really showed in both the process and the final result. The quality of work was outstanding, and the addition blends perfectly with our home. We would highly recommend Tekton for anyone looking for home addition, home renovation, or general contracting services.
