Constraction reviews in Grandview, Missouri

Nate and his team at Tekton Contracting KC not only did great work, but took our ideas and gave us creative recommendations to bring those ideas to life. They've built a beautiful shed for our back yard for us as well as new garage doors. We will definitely use them in the future for home projects we need.

Tekton volunteered their services to help our family out with our remodel project after my husband passed. They did an amazing job on the project, it’s beautiful and the most used room in our house now. The integrity of a company that steps in to help out someone in need speaks for itself and the work they did is not only beautiful but it is holding up to a house full of kids! Grateful for this company’s generosity and quality work!

As an Interior Designer I’ve worked with Tekton Contracting on a commercial remodel and tenant improvements in the KC Metro and they're one of the best general contractors in the Kansas City area. Their work is high-quality, and code-compliant, and they collaborate well. Highly recommend for new builds or commercial renovations. Loved working with them!

Tekton is one of the best (maybe THE best) contractors out there. I’m in the realestate industry so I’ve worked with scores
Of different professions - I’ve hired Tekton to do a handful of projects and their quality and service is truly outstanding. One project they did for me was an exterior paint job with some cedar accents, and as usual, it came out amazingly - this job was also competed about 12 months ago and still looks fantastic - a testament to the quality work that tekton provides.

We have a beautiful sun room/family room thanks to Nate and the Tekton team. They also put a basement storage room under it with outside entrances to both the basement and addition above it. It meant so much to me to work with a company with integrity that I could trust and a high level of excellence and skill.

We have used Tekton Contracting for multiple projects at our home since 2020, including whole house interior painting (walls, crown molding, doors, ceilings, EVERYTHING) and a large tile project on our deck. Nate has integrity and he and his team are reliable, trustworthy, and meticulous. His quotes are reasonable and also reliable. On the rare occasions something has come up that deviated from the agreed upon project and quote, Nate was sure to call me right away with options and prices. We have absolute trust that Tekton Contracting will do what they say and do a great job. I do not normally leave reviews, but Tekton Contracting deserves it.

Tekton did an amazing job painting my house last summer! The team was super friendly and responsive, and they were *very* helpful with narrowing down paint colors with me. They really went above and beyond to make sure I got the best work possible for my price range. And I have to say, I think my house looks pretty darn fresh! 🤩

I’ve worked with Nate and the Tekton team on many projects including large commercial renovations, apartment buildings, and my personal homes. The company has always been A+ on communication and quality of work. Highly recommend!

We could not have been happier! Everyone at Tekton listened to what we wanted, and took care to make it a reality. Nate even built cedar accents for us, including beautiful planters, hand-rail, and post. We get so many compliments. Our neighbors have told us we have the prettiest house on the street, and it's thanks to Tekton! Nate, Blake, and the whole team are fantastic! After they painted our exterior and contructed cedar accents, we asked them to paint our basement cabinets, and they look amazing, too. Their attention to detail, and desire to meet their customer's needs, make them fantastic to work with. We highly recommend Tekton!

So grateful for Nathanael and his team!! They have done such high-caliber, professional work on our home within budget and on time! From painting to flooring to cabinets, we are so pleased with the transformation of our home!! I highly recommend Tekton Contracting!

Nate and his team have served us on multiple occasions. They painted our home exterior, rebuilt some of our siding, and our kitchen cabinets. I’ve never had a contractor care as much about the details and quality as them. They know their stuff, come with great suggestions, and offer an extremely high quality of work. Highly recommend.

Amazing company to work with. They are reliable, easy to get a hold of, I was comfortable having them in my home and they stick to their word, always a must with a contractor! We are very picky people and their work was up to our standards! They have done our exterior paint, basement remodel which included a bar/kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel and bedroom remodel! Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to have work done on their home!

We recently hired Tekton Contracting KC to paint the exterior of our house. Not only were they competitive with prices but their customer service was exceptional and the we are beyond thrilled with the end result. They worked extra hard to make sure it was done in the timeline we needed and answered every question we had along the process. They were so kind, knowledgeable and truly went above and beyond to make sure we were not only happy but thrilled with the end result. We have a received so many compliments from friends and neighbors and we have already recommended them to plenty. (Before is red/blue and after is the light green/white photo)

We seriously love Nate and his crew! The Tekton team did a full commercial buildout for our newest Prefix coffee shop inside The Grand - a luxury apartment building downtown. They started from a completely bare room and built out the entire space. It was quite a small unit with the additional challenge of different elevation because the front door is lower than the drive-thru window across the room. However, Tekton was up for the challenge and the end product is a beautiful shop that is fully functional and feels way more spacious! The team constructed a platform for the coffee bar area and service counter that reaches the drive-thru window! They created a cool seating area for our customers by utilizing the steps leading up from the lobby to the service counter. Tekton took care of everything from plumbing, electric, all new flooring, tiling, painting, and the custom-built counter and seating area. We are so grateful for all they did and how easy it was to communicate with Nate about what our vision was for our new coffee shop! We're so excited to have a new location in downtown KC and look forward to serving our neighbors at The Grand -- all thanks to the dedicated and creative Tekton team!

Nate and Adam took excellent care of the carpentry, painting, lighting and curtain mounting jobs I requested. Scheduling was a breeze and the time from my initial contact with Nate to project completion was quick. I would recommend Nate, Adam and team to anyone needing help with their home and have already reached out for help on new projects. 10/10.

Choosing this general contractor was the best decision for our renovation. They were organized, transparent, and easy to communicate with from day one. The team showed impressive craftsmanship and attention to detail, ensuring everything was completed to a high standard. The project finished on schedule without any hidden costs. We’re thrilled with the outcome and would confidently recommend them for any construction project.

The entire Tekton team was great to work with. Nate, Adam, Blake, RJ (I'm forgetting someone) were fantastic. Easy bid process. Nate communicates well when issues popped up. Since I've moved into the ADU, have had a few very minor issues and Nate (and his subs) have handled them very quickly and satisfactorily. If I ever build again, Nate is going to be my first call.

Great people doing good work! The team was genuine and easy to talk with. Once all the details are laid out they meet all the expectations! Tekton did a dining room addition and it was done beautifully!

Tekton and their entire team have been a great contractor to work with. They have been working on a large commercial renovation on our office space in Grandview MO, and they have helped create a beautiful custom work space out of an old medical office. From roof to floor they have been able to work on any type of work that was needed. They have been super easy to work with, even for last minute scope changes and change orders, they have high attention to fine details and high standards of workmanship, polite and helpful staff, easy invoicing and billing processes, and good timelines on the project. We have used Tekton on several commercial projects now over the past few years, and each time they deliver great project results that we are happy with.

Took 2 boys to the pool. The pools computer systems was down and I did not have cash. They would not let the boys swim. Those boys were crushed. They turned us away. Shame on them.

Suggestion... Don't turn people away because of your inferior software. Those boys should have been able to swim for free. It's not like people we waiting to get in. Do the right thing or get bad press. That simple.

Terrible service. They send out incompetent technicians that don't understand the pool system. Despite weeks of complaints they would not send out anyone more qualified. This caused equipment failure and inflated water bills.
Difficult to get responses or solutions. I would not recommend this company at all
