A man in this company truck road raged me this morning, getting so close to me that I couldn’t see his headlights, and started following me after, for driving 10 over in the fast lane. He almost crashed into me. Do not hire immature men that can’t handle their morning commute! All men like this should be canceled. Attached is a photo of his license plate. Abhorrent behavior for 6 am with no traffic.

My wife and I have used Kevin Kolka for several repair/remodel jobs on our home. On each job he was highly skilled and highly professional. We will continue to call on him whenever a repair or remodel need arises. We are grateful to have a remodeler/handyman we can trust.

Kevin came promptly and reviewed our problem and had a plan. He came back on the day that we agreed upon and was able to actually repair everything without causing other issues. It was a crawl space of sorts outdoors and he had to fit into that crawl space to do the repair. He explained this process well. His fee seem to be a little high but I agreed to it to enable the project to be completed quickly.

Kolka construction did a bathroom remodel for us. The communication was great. Kevin and his team really made sure they knew what we wanted. Most importantly, the quality of work is excellent! Everything is perfect and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

We hired Kolka Construction for extensive rehab work from water damage that required new carpet, drywall, hardwood refinishing, and painting. Along the way, we increased the scope of the project by adding new carpet in rooms not impacted by water and replaced a dishwasher. Kevin was great to work with. After meeting to go over scope, timeframe, bid and what to expect, he showed up and started the project on the day promised. From that point on, he did everything to make sure we were happy with the work. The work was completed in a high quality manner in the timeframe he outlined for us. I trusted him and his crew with our keys. If I ever needed similar work, or any construction project for that matter, he would be my first call. I would also confidently recommend him to anyone who asked about our experience.

Kolka Construction did a solid job redoing our driveway and grading the exterior of our property. The final result looks great and has already made a noticeable difference with drainage and curb appeal. No surprises, no excuses — just good, straightforward work. Would definitely use them again.

Kolka Construction did everything they said they would on the bid in the approximate time frame that they offered. There was a roof leak in the home that preceded needing an entirely new kitchen in addition to some repairs in other areas. As with any project, make sure you keep track of the details of what’s discussed. They have a lifetime of expertise in carpentry and are locally owned with high standards.
I would definitely hire them again!! The work done in pics was from floor to ceiling!

Kolka Construction is top notch! They completely blew us away with the work they’ve done on our home. After asking friends, looking through different company reviews, and getting a handful of quotes, my wife and I were extremely intimidated with the large project of replacing our siding and windows (30 windows!!!). When I reached out to Kevin, the owner of Kolka Construction, he walked us through the whole process and really set our minds at ease. He’s an extremely knowledgeable craftsman and he really took the time to help us understand what needed to be done and efficiently handled every problem that arose with our old home throughout the process. The siding and windows installation went extremely well, the exterior paint job looks amazing, they were extremely courteous to my wife and I when they were in and around our home, and they communicated clearly with us from beginning to end. Our home looks fabulous and we are so happy with their amazing service!

Without a doubt this was the best construction experience we've ever had. He was very responsive via text, phone call, and in person. We had a project in mind of building a roof over our deck, but we had no idea how it could work. He spent an hour in person just talking about designs and what he recommends. His price was reasonable, the quality of work was fantastic, and we absolutely love the final project. He didn't cut corners or use cheap material. We had him build a roof, and redo our deck stairs, and poor a patio, and reinforce the old deck itself, and add dirt to the foundation. Once I realized what he could do, I just kept adding on more requests. We have another project planned now because we were so impressed with the experience. He was always responsive and followed up with confirmation of payments. I had no hesitation that he was working at my house when I wasn't home. I highly recommend him for any work you are considering, and he is very honest if something isn't his field of expertise.

Kolka Construction was great to work with. They did a garage remodel for me, and I had only a vague idea of what I wanted to do. The main brief was that I wanted a space that was usable in a variety of ways and kept wildlife out. Kevin was able to ask questions to find out what was important to me and use his experience to create a space that was even better than I had imagined. He was very communicative throughout the process. His pricing was reasonable and was able to fit me in quickly where it worked in his schedule. Cardinal Contractors replaced our roof in Platte Woods after a storm. They explained the claim process clearly and helped us get the correct scope approved. Everything was done quickly and the cleanup was excellent.

Tim S. evaluated my roof after a recent hail storm. He found relatively zero damage with exception of one shingle that a hail stone punched a hole through. Tim fixed that shingle on the spot, with sealer, at no charge. I really appreciated his help.
