Constraction reviews in Riverside, Missouri

Hinkle Hardscapes was fantastic. They were easy to work with and came up with a brilliant design for our backyard decorative colored and stamped sidewalk. The leadership was great and the workers were very good. We enjoyed the thoroughness of working with every one, Thanks for a good job!

Hinkle did a stamped concrete patio and fire pit for us and it was a great experience from start to finish. From the initial conversations and folks working with us to design what we wanted, to finishing the actual project, Hinkle has does great work and has great customer service. Right after they started the project, we asked to make a change and they made it happen without any delays. Highly recommend!

After we decided to replace our deteriorating deck with a patio, we reached out to Hinkle Hardscapes. From concept to completion, we couldn't be happier with our experience. Everyone at Hinkle was so responsive, friendly and knowledgeable. We made a few design changes along the way, and the staff and our designer couldn't have been more helpful. When we ran into a minor scheduling challenge (ours, not theirs), Zach, the owner, stopped by to problem solve with us. The crew arrived on time every day, and worked long hours to get the project done. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail is phenomenal. We've had neighbors stop their cars on the street to tell us how much they like our new space. We highly recommend Hinkle Hardscapes.

Working with Hinkle was a very positive experience from start to finish. Randy Phillips was great to work with designing our layout and was very accommodating to modify the design 3-4 times. The crew was great and we are very impressed with the quality of craftsmanship. We couldn’t be happier with the end product!! Thank you and well done!

Absolutely love our new patio. Had a great experience with Hinkle. Well worth the wait. The jobsite was clean and clear every evening and they took great care to limit any damage that might be caused by their heavier equipment. The great care and detail they took to build the fire pit is obvious and appreciated. Can't wait to fully enjoy our new patio next spring and summer.

We had Hinkle demo our existing deck and patio and then pour a new stamped patio and walkway with a large pergola. The Hinkle team did an amazing job from design, demo and to the end product. Their crews were so great, professional and nice! We are so happy with their work and are excited to use our new outdoor space this summer!

Moving into a newer home, we had a blank canvas with our backyard. We wanted to add on a patio that would not only be fitting for our young children, but also an area for relaxing and entertaining that would make the open space more our home. We brought Hinkle Hardscapes in to help us with this project and were beyond impressed from the start. Our designer, Ken, jumped right in and created a beautiful patio design. As we moved forward into our project, he was always receptive to our ideas and offered us insight and perspective as we tried to figure out the best option for us. That design then became a reality as the process moved forward to construction. From there, other team players stepped up and brought the design on paper to a work of art right in our backyard. The projects planning team was quick to answer any questions we had and were always in good communication with us. Construction crew came in with an agenda in hand, always very polite, helpful, and careful not to cause any damage to our outdoor space. We were amazed at how quickly they were able to complete the project! The patio has not gone unnoticed by our neighbors and we can vouch that the quality is second to none.

We recently had a large scale backyard project completed by Hinkle Hardscapes. From the initial design and several updates to the drawings for the project Hinkle's team was excellent to work with each step of the way. Our project included a large concrete pour to accommodate a hottub on one level and on another level a large concrete patio with a oversized fire pit. Along side of the patio area was a large deck that steps down to the concrete patio. Based on the backyard slopping I had to deal with, the design Hinkle came up with was about the only way I could best utilize my space. During the construction phase of the project, the workers were very focused on the work. All my questions and concerns were quickly responded to and dealt with on a professional level. The quality of the work was very superior and the several months we had to wait to get our project started was very much worth the wait. I highly recommend Hinkle Hardscapes for anyone else's project, they don't cut corners like some contractors do, and it's true, you do get what you pay for. Hinkle Hardscapes is not the cheapest company out there and I don't think that's what they want to be, but if you want the best and are willing to pay more to get your project done, you can't go wrong with Hinkle Hardscapes.

I would highly recommend Hinkle Hardscapes! From the beginning of the process, they were professional, knowledgeable, and took great pride in doing quality work. Our designer, Ken, took our ideas and transformed them into a blue print, and then gave us a clear and concise contract that made us feel secure about the work that would be included in our contract price. Throughout the process we received numerous updates about the timeline of our project and any questions we had were answered in a timely and professional manner. The actual construction was done quickly and professionally. and our stamped concrete patio, seating wall, and gas fire pit are exactly what we wanted thanks to Hinkle!

We absolutely love our color stamped concrete patio with a fire pit and seating wall!!! Hinkle did the job in 5 days! From start to finish, the project went really smooth. Ken, our designer was extremely helpful in the design and keeping the project within our budget. The communication was excellent throughout the entire process. I was very impressed with the team. They were on time and worked until the job was done.

Can’t recommend Hinkle Hardscapes enough! They did a beautiful job on our pool coping and pool surrounding area patio. Their crew were always on time, professional, hard working, fast, friendly and very meticulous which created a fabulous outcome for us. Rebecca from the office was a pleasure to work with in creating the plan and design with drawings for us. Nothing short of amazing from start to finish!

We extended our patio out to almost 600 square feet with three lighted piers and hired Hinkle for the installation. The thing that really set them apart was the speed that they responded every time we had a question or concern. They also performed very well on the job, it was exactly what we were looking for. We did have an issue with the pier caps not being the right size and we had to make a change last minute there, but we had multiple people from Hinkle on a conference call to discuss the different options and timing to complete them. Being in the construction industry I can tell you that every construction project has things that don’t go as planned, and Hinkle was able to take it in stride and offer solutions to keep moving forward. I greatly appreciate that in a company and the result is a patio that is now usable for our entire family at the same time!

From the first phone call to the last worker leaving after project completion, Hinkle Hardscapes is by far the best landscape contractor we have ever hired. The patio and deck steps turned out better than we could have imagined. Ken Gibson listened to everything we wanted in the outdoor space and this company delivered. The crews that came to work on the patio and then the deck steps were on time and would always greet us if we came out to take a look at the work being done. Just all around great people working for Hinkle. Our only regret is not having them do this for us years earlier!!

We are so happy with our new backyard patio from Hinkle Hardscapes. They created a custom design that was unique to our wishes and desires and then the craftmanship was of outstanding quality. The workers were diligent and hard-working everyday, making sure everything was to our liking. Hinkle also responded to our punch list needs without question or concern. We highly recommend everyone to check out Hinkle for their backyard patio needs!

Hinkle Hardscapes did a great job with our patio. The crew was really professional, they worked long, hard hours, and consulted with us numerous times. While I was gone, they made an onsite decision to lower a step knowing we have two children and they didn't want them to fall. I appreciate that they thought about our family as a whole. Not many companies would do that. There will be a few bumps with any construction project but Hinkle really follows through.

The crew and Cody were very reponsive to our needs. They were always on site on time and worked diligently through the patio installation. I would refer them to a friend.

We hired Hinkle Hardscapes to design and build our backyard patio based upon the recommendation and work done for our neighbors. They did not disappoint! The final product looks great and we have already taken advantage of some warmer weather on our new patio. This project has given our backyard a great look and much more functionality. Looking forward to entertaining and relaxing on our new patio for many years to come.

Hinkle Hardscapes was very thorough with the pre project planning and made sure that we would be happy with the design. The project was completed as planned and we are very happy with the results. There were a few minor issues with the finish of our patio but Hinkle Hardscapes were responsive to our concerns and addressed the issues to our satisfaction. Clean up was exceptional and we would definitely recommend Hinkle Hardscapes for any outdoor project.

Our patio, seated wall and firepit turned out great! Brandon was great in keeping us updated and answering all my questions. I was happy with their clean up after the project was finished too. I would highly recommend them!

We used Hinkle Hardscapes for a complete patio overhaul (with firepit and seat wall) and we could not be happier. We used them in conjunction with a local deck company and both worked together really well. The design team at Hinkle helped illustrate our vision before they got to work and helped us develop the best setup for our deck and patio needs. The crew itself was excellent. They arrived on time and ready to work each day (even as temperatures dropped in December), and cleaned up each night. The communication with the foreman throughout the project was top notch -- he answered any and all questions we had and provided good insight on certain issues we hadn't thought about. Highly recommend this company!

This company is really great to work with. From the designing to the building of our backyard project, things really couldn’t have gone any better. They did an extension to our patio and added a fireplace and water feature and it is certainly amazing. I now understand why their ratings are so high.
