We love our paver patio & fireplace, the entire project went smoothly, even with a sudden snowstorm last fall! The workers were unbelievable, courteous & hardworking! Everyone we dealt with went above & beyond & we couldn’t be happier. We recommend them 1000%.

Edited: After just 3 months we started noticing cracks in the patio and after 6 months we had 5 or more cracks that were all 3 feet long or longer. Hinkle agreed to "fill" them, but we could not get anyone other than the foreman to come out and talk with us and see what the problem was. Just kept being told cracks will happen but that is why we replaced the concrete slab we had and salesman lead us to believe that cracks would not happen with their process. From our research, we don't believe the concrete cured properly in the winter temps and that's what's causing the issue. Also the "stamp" left rough edges and divots which they said was "normal" and we were told they wouldn't chip....they have! For the money we paid we expected better! (Project started timely and was completed quickly. Crew even went out of their way to make temporary access for our two "senior" pups. New stamped patio looks great and can't wait until the weather warms up to use it. From sales to the crew, everyone was friendly and easy to work with.)

Hinkle Hardscapes does an amazing, professional job. My wife, daughter and I left for vacation for 2 weeks and, during that time, HH showed up, built out an extended patio, rerouted two downspouts, built a wonderful, semi-circle stairstep out of pavers, as well as built an amazing, cedar pergola, just in time for us to arrive back from the airport. This was a complete, surprise anniversary gift to my wife and HH did a great job of keeping it under the radar so she wouldn't even know something was happening. We love our backyard "prairie paradise". Hinkle Hardscapes did an amazing job and we're thrilled with how everything turned out. Up front, Rebecca worked her magic on the computer. She captured our thoughts and ideas on what our dream backyard would look like and created a visual rendition of the plan. Then Cody and his crew transformed that visual into a reality. Our backyard is now our escape - a space to entertain friends and family or just shut out the hustle and bustle and enjoy some peace and quiet. From the stone columns around the deck, to the pool and waterfall, to the pergola and firepit, our backyard is now a space that we can use year round. We highly recommend Hinkle Hardscapes to anyone thinking about a backyard project.

I LOVE my backyard hardscape project designed and executed by Hinkle. I wanted to extend my patio, add a fire pit and stay within a certain budget. The 3D design came to life last Fall, and I can't wait to use it fully this year. The wait to get on the schedule was well worth the quality and the outdoor entertaining space I have gained.

We could not be more pleased with our patio and basketball court from Hinkle Hardscapes! The entire process of working with them from design to implementation was easy and smooth. Ken listened to what we wanted and designed a great space for us. They were so patient as we went through several revisions as we honed in on just what we wanted. The crew (Crew #1) that came out to do the work was simply spectacular! My husband has high expectations and everyone of them was met and exceeded! They really worked with us to make sure the patio was just what we wanted. We could not say enough great things about this company.

We could not be more pleased with the patio that Hinkle Hardscapes just installed for us. My first impression was the excellent and quick response to any email or question and this continued through the entire project. Secondly, the designer worked with us and had great ideas to enhance what we wanted. Also, any change was never a problem. Once the work started, having been in construction myself, I was doubly impressed with the crew led by Pedro and Cody. They were diligent, super accurate and were always ready to answer any question and make sure they did it just the way we wanted. In fact, the entire crew was hard working, regardless of the cold or the rain and making sure they left the work area neat and in order after the days work. I would highly recommend Hinkle Hardscapes as they will not disappoint.

We love our patio, firepit and seat wall! It transformed our backyard. The folks at Hinkle Hardscapes did a great job from start to finish, keeping the work area clean and orderly...and the quality of the product is unprecedented. Every time we sit on our patio, relaxing and enjoying music and a fire in the firepit, we compliment the folks that built it. The entire process was well thought out and it was easy to determine when my project would start and end. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Last year we bought raffle tickets for a DREAM BACKYARD MAKEOVER that Hickle Hardscapes was giving away to benefit their nonprofit, Hickle Cares. I loved the idea that they were using their skills and resources to give back to our community though funding adoptions for local families. I contributed to their nonprofit because I believed in the cause and never in a million years did I think we would win. A few days after the raffle ended, Emily and Brandon showed up at our front door with balloons and cameras to let us know we WON! Let me tell you, Hickle Hardscapes came through bigtime!
Ken and his team were great about asking our input and amending the design until it was just how we wanted it. Once the project started it took about three weeks to complete. We cannot say enough good things about our crew, Rene and Rene (father/son duo). They were friendly, courteous, and hardworking. The quality of their work is second to none. We have already spent many nights around the fire pit with family and friends making memories and will forever be grateful for the experience. I would highly recommend Hickle to anyone thinking about investing in a backyard living space.

I had been wanting to do a massive improvement to my home for a long while and through the recommendation of a coworker I was led to Hinkle Hardscapes. Like others I met with Ken who took a look at the property and sat down with us to really understand what we wanted the space for and how we would utilize it. After about a week I received the first draft of my proposal, which was probably the most professional proposal I have seen to date. Everything was detailed out, and where I wanted to add more details Ken was there to make corrections based on my thoughts.

When it was all said and done, we kicked off the project. The crew that was assigned to the job was great and real craftsman. You can tell they took pride in what they were doing for us and checked in with us about weekly to help us understand the process. Great people.

When it came to the actual stone work there was some difficulty in getting the correct quantity of stone which delayed my project slightly but as you can see from the pictures the results were great.

I must say that seeing the plans go from paper to completion is AMAZING! Working with Hinkle Hardscapes was BY FAR the best choice! They were very communicative through the entire process! Their Foreman and workers were extremely friendly and very professional! Pushing to complete our project in time to house my birthday party, they were simply TERRIFIC!

We are ready to party and enjoy our new outdoor living space to its fullest!

Where do I begin? There are contractors who also do backyard patio's, and then there is Hinkle Hardscapes. Not only were we impressed with Hinkle's professionalism and prompt follow-up from the initial planning phases, but their quality is 2nd to none. Zach's team is first class and they create a wonderful finished product. We have enjoyed our backyard patio everyday since it was completed, and we look forward to enjoying it for many years to come.

We used Hinkle Hardscapes to build our dream backyard. From the first consultation to the project finish, we were nothing but happy with the customer service that Zach and his team provided. We have yet to be able to enjoy the pool as the project wasn't able to be completed until November, but we have gotten plenty of use out of the spa and fire pit during the winter months. Would recommend Zach and his team to anyone wanting to build an outdoor living space!!

We needed to have some repair work done on our front porch due to some drainage issues. We contacted Hinkle Hardscapes and they were able to create a design that we loved and fix the drainage issue at the same time. We enlarged and created a great outdoor space with a front patio. Ken walked us through different material options so we could make the best decision for our needs. The designer was happy to make changes to their original design to accommodate our elderly limited mobility family members. The construction team was great and left the site clean every day. I would definitely use Hinkle Hardscape again for my hardscaping needs.

We did a large outdoor kitchen build!! (High 200k) Finished 8/2024.
Although we had some communication issues during construction that led to some headaches; overall we absolutely love the space. We spend every family function and event outside and will enjoy this for the rest of our lives.
So far a few things have come up (post construction) that have been addressed and fixed promptly and we are very happy with that.
It’s good to know that the finished product is still followed up and taken care of after the bills are paid!
And for that we are very happy!

What an excellent experience! Zach and his crew were very helpful in the planning stages, his design team came up with a design which complimented our existing deck, and they helped with suggestions on everything from paver type to firepit ideas. We LOVE our paver patio and gas firepit! The end result was better than we expected, and all employees were courteous and respectful during the work phases. HIGHLY recommend Hinkle Hardscapes!

We have the most beautiful deck and stamped concrete patio thanks to Probuilt and their team! From the first meeting to the final installation,I felt like I was dealing with a very professional company. It was obvious they knew how to build and implement both structures, which we can now enjoy for many years. It has added more value to our home and I highly recommend Probuilt. An expenditure like this should only be done by professionals!

ProBuilt Pool & Patio did our fiberglass built pool construction project. We had a referral from a good friend who spoke highly of their experience with ProBuilt, so we gave them a call. We spoke with Chris (owner) and had a positive conversation to start us off. After the call, Angie showed up at our property with a positive attitude to discuss our project. All information was up front regarding costs, payment schedules, etc - no high pressure sales stuff (she was great). After that meeting, Chris invited us to his house to see his pool and all equipment options. During our meeting, we mentioned other companies we were considering. He was not offended and asked us who they were. When we told him, he suggested the only one of them he would use if we didn't decide on ProBuilt - amazing that he would recommend a competitor if we didn't choose ProBuilt. He sent us to a project ProBuilt recently completed, and that customer had nothing but positive things to say about their experience. We signed the contract and once the project started, we encountered some significant complications with the city (Liberty) regarding property and easement issues. Chris worked with us as we worked through those issues, even offering to reimburse us if the project needed to be cancelled due to these issues. He kept us at the top of the project list, working other jobs past us as we worked through the city issues. Once all issues were resolved we met Dallas, who walked us though all layout and construction aspects of the project including recommendations, & costs involved so their were no surprises (retaining wall, extra concrete, pump equipment automation, etc) - again, outstanding ! Next we met Alex and his crew for the pool excavation. It was determined we needed a small retaining wall, so we met Eddie who completed that piece of the project - great job to all those guys and their crews including clean-up every day !! After the pool was set (Chris and Dallas were there to oversee this critical piece of the project), we met Alonzo and his crew who completed all the concrete patio work - these guys are the best. They were able to blend our new pool patio seamlessly into our existing patio - looks fantastic !!! Weather and pool equipment suppliers have been challenges this past year for this industry and Chris has consistently communicated in a straightforward manner regarding these issues which we greatly appreciated. I can't say enough about how satisfied we are with Probuilt (professionalism, communication, sense of humor, customer service, etc) !! I wish all our experiences with construction work were this positive - simply put, their the best !!

We signed a contract with pro-built on 2/25/22 and passed final inspection in April of 2023. We purchased the Aqua Technics Grandeur pool which is a good size (28’) for our needs and was in-stock. I really like the twilight color that we picked, it’s a deep blue with lots of sparkle in the sunlight. We chose to go with an autocover which has pros and cons, it was a pain bringing in the cover pump when it was freezing and then making sure it was out when it was raining, but a big positive was that we did not have to replace our fence which was not tall enough per city code. I think we will appreciate the autocover when we are outside of the freezing months. Team Tony was excellent! They were professional and very efficient and worked extremely quickly once upon site. The pool was actually functioning by 8/22 without concrete. Team Alonzo came with concrete in October and lived up to his reputation as a concrete genius! He was great answering all of our concrete questions. We ended up with a stone stamped pattern in a desert tan. This is the pattern that the Chris and Alonzo’s team recommended and it turned out very nicely.

Chris and Erin have been good to work with and did not over-promise with regards to schedule. They were both very hands on and available for questions. Dates have been challenging to nail down based on weather and contractor availability… so schedule flexibility is necessary. Extra props to Chris…despite living in KC, he was on site frequently in St. Charles County, personally helping not only to winterize our pool before severe weather but also cleaning/opening our pool in time for a birthday celebration. Ultimately, I’m very glad we chose Probuilt. The end result turned out great and we can’t wait to share the results with friends and family!
