It's been over 18 years, we are still enjoying our bath tub. Install took only one day. If you choose bath fitters for your next bathroom remodeling project, you will not be disappointed.

Ian and Travis were great, efficient and friendly enough. Had to remove tub that we had refitted in 2005 for a walk in shower. They were in and out in less than 7 hours, cleaned up behind themselves and did a fantastic job.

My husband and I are thrilled with our new tub to shower conversion! The process was a wonderful experience from beginning to end.
Joe, our salesperson, was very informative and helpful. He walked us through the design process and definitely made sure that we were going to get exactly what we wanted. He out no pressure on us to make a quick decision (which was not the case with another compnay we considered). After we had signed our contract, he made sure that the installation time was convenient for our work schedule.

Kyle, our installer, was amazing! He made sure that we knew exactly what was happening throughout the entire install. There was an issue with some of the studs behind our originial tiling that he made sure was remedied correctly. He also made sure that he was clearing out the "construction mess" throughout the day. He also noticed that there were no shower doors in our contract (which was an oversight in the contract). He called Joe right away to resolve the problem; and Joe called me right away to assure me that the doors were available & would be onsite the following day. Because of this, our install took a little longer than normal, but it was absolutely worth the extra time.

I also don't want to overlook our project plumber, George. He was very knowledgeable, and went above and beyond his scope of work by showing my husband some things he had noticed while he was working on our new plumbing. Not only that, but he gave him some advice on how best to take care if the problems.

I really cannot say enough about how great all of these men were throughout this entire process. I would have no hesitation to recommend Bath Fitter to any of my family or friends!

Ian & Keagan was very professional and did excellent job! Their promptness detail to every Pacific needs. These guys are just very great and their job performance and I recommend them to the highest award that you guys can offer for them.

Andrew, our salesman, was great. He was down to earth, knowledgeable, and did not " push" for a sale.

We asked for a bath to shower conversion with floor to ceiling walls, dome ceiling, teak bench, standing tower, gorgeous brushed nickel fixtures and safety bar, plus Niagara shower doors. Ten years ago I hired Bath Fitter to install a new tub and shower walls. The Team went above-and-beyond to accommodate my needs and desires!

Scott worked with me to obtain the best pricing possible. Joe managed my project superbly. Kyle and Mike did an outstanding job on the installation. Adding features I really wanted in my install. Patty and Melissa are always pleasant back at the shop answering questions or concerns throughout the years.

And speaking of concerns, I haven't had a single one since the install a decade ago!

Still ... knowing they offer - and honor! - the Lifetime Warranty has been a true blessing and comfort.

Bathfitter installers were prompt, professional, and very considerate of our elderly mother. They quickly demolished and then installed a beautiful walk in shower that is totally handicapped accessible. It's really beautiful!

I recently moved to Illinois and needed to update 2 bathrooms. Steve and Trevor removed a dated bathtub and installed a soaker tub in the most efficient manner and were so careful and pleasant and professional. I needed to replace a shower in the 2nd bathroom and requested Steve and Trevor to do that job if possible. They did return and again I received the same professional work along with their great attitudes. They were great..thank you for my new bathrooms!!!

Travis snd Matt were Great! They arrived at 8 am driving over 2 hrs to get here! They were upbeat , informative and gave my husband and I options to best fit our needs. They worked nonstop and when finished, they presented us a new handicapped accessible shower!! They cleaned up everything!! To receive this in 1 day was amazing! It is quite expensive but no regrets! Totally recommend!!

Amazing price and quick installation. So many features to choose from including a grab bar for my mother in law. The anti slip tub is genius and should be in all tubs. Customer service was quick to respond or call back within an hour after a message is left. I cannot recommend Bath Fitters more and refer all my friends and family to them.

7/18/25 update: Bath Fitter returned and reinstalled the shower. The height of the base is now just over 2" and we are pleased with the reinstall. Our score has been updated to 3 stars. If the initial install would have been done like the reinstall, our initial score would have been higher.

Original review: We were surprised that no one from Bath Fitter called us after our install. We had a few items related to our tub to shower conversion that we would have like addressed. We ended up emailing our concerns and then the salesperson reached out. To say we are not satisfied would be an extreme understatement.

The height of the threshold is significantly higher than we were led to believe it would be. It is just over 5", we were expecting 2" - we paid for the low threshold base. When we asked about it, the installer (Mike) was very rude and dismissive and said the one he was installing was the lowest available. This contradicts photos on the Bath Fitter website. Bath Fitter responded by saying it was because they had to build up our floor. Seems unlikely that they had to build up the floor 3".

During the removal of the old tub, the installer cut through an electric line. He asked if we knew of an electrician who would come to fix it, we told him we did but it was not our responsibility. He then did arrange for an electrician. To make the repair, the electrician had to install a junction box that is now covered with a plate in our hall.

There is a defect in the trim at the top of the shower. Installer came out, the same rude one from before. Said there is nothing wrong with the trim and put additional silicone in the gap.

We paid $12000+ for this job. Totally regret ever agreeing to work with Bath Fitter. This shower is used every day and every day we are disgusted with the shower.

Super happy with our Bathfitter shower install! The guys were kind, professional and respectful of the property. Even our dog Murphy approved them. 🐾 I do not see shower install in the choices to chose from.

Jeff came by to give us our estimate. my husband answered the door and let him into the house even though I was in the bathroom pooping. If the roles were reversed I would have made Jeff wait outside until my husband was done (to preserve his dignity). They waited outside the bathroom door until I was done. My husband knocked??? We only have one bathroom. I was horrified, to emerge from that bathroom. But Jeff was super cool about it. He gave me an understanding smile that seemed to say “it’s alright”. couldn’t have done it to a nicer guy. :/ He was professional, kind, considerate, knowledgeable.

Our experience with Bath Fitters has been wonderful. Ian was the installer and Steve was the plumber.
They were both courteous, respectful and professional.
Ian did the complete installation in 6 hours. It was heavy and difficult work but Ian worked tirelessly and in good humor.
He cleaned up everything before leaving. It was done beautifully.

We had our Bath Fitter insert installed last July. We have been very happy with it. About 2 weeks ago we began to sense a slight mildew smell and within a day or two, we thought we could hear a squishy sound under the insert when we stepped in or around while showering. I reached out to the company, we scheduled an appointment for yesterday and I braced for what I assumed would be a battle that would end in my being blamed and being presented with a costly remedy despite the “lifetime” guarantee. I expected a sales rep to assess the issue and schedule a follow up for a few weeks later. Imagine my surprise when a clearly marked installation/repair van showed up at the beginning of the appointment window. He identified the problem, explained that because the silicone is so thin, on occasion, it may crack and allow water to breach the insert. He vacuumed the entire reservoir, treated it with some product, stripped off all the silicone caulking and reapplied it in its entirety. He was in and out in about an hour and a half. He was polite and courteous. He apologized for any inconvenience and thanked us for letting them know what had happened…and assured us that they are always a phone call away if we have any issues in the future.

I was impressed with the quality when we made the decision to install it last summer.

I was contented that it was a fair price to improve our home.

Today, I am THRILLED that we chose a company that is reputable and responsive after the sale.

I highly recommend them for the bathroom overhaul but I am most impressed with the customer service after the sale. Well done, Bath Fitter!!!
