Great experience. Only shop in town that had crabgrass killer that kept plants alive. Strongly recommend

Place is beautiful so calmly and relaxing, but i had not so pleasant encounter with park rangers regarding fishing spot....
Even though they saw 5 kids around me and even though it was late afternoon around 5 PM they kept bothering us saying that that spot is reserved for kids. !???? I was confused whether they have eyes and don't see 5 children....
I know it was some kids free day event that day, but approaching 2 times and keeping story that adults fishing is down the river several hundred yards, And ignoring 5 kids around me it was crazy stupid.

Wish that they have more respect to customers.....

Always informative. Everything I've gotten from there has done very well and I do not have a green thumb. You may pay a little more than the big box stores but it's worth it. If you've never been, give them a try.

Steve is extremely helpful! He helped us design and pick out all new landscaping for the front of our house. They have a great selection too.

Had an amazing experience here. Steve was so helpful with all my questions regarding weed removal and planting. He was extremely knowledgeable about the specific plants I required. This will be our go to for all gardening requirements.

I have been going to Fendlers since I bought my house in Lemay in 93. I have since moved over to Concord Village but still go to Fendlers. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. The plants are top notch.

I moved to the area recently and had to leave all my plants behind. I happened to drive by Fendler's and everything was so pretty and colorful, I pulled right in. I was immediately greeted in the parking lot by a gentleman asking if I desired any help...which I did! I explained that I have a notorious black thumb and I was expertly guided to easy care/hard to kill plants. One of the things I purchased was a plant box that I wasn't sure would fit in my planter. I was assured that return or exchange would be no problem which turned out to be absolutely true because box was too large and I returned a few days later to return it and found the nursery looking almost completely different in a new riot of color and an impressive selection of herbs. So instead of a return, I exchanged the plant box for a beautiful (hard to kill) hanging flower basket. Another thing I found special about Fendler's was an impressive selection of succulent plants as well as large selection of unique decorative planters. Everyone at Fendler's was extremely friendly and helpful and it's really a pleasant experience to shop there.

Update 4/14/23 Not much has changed at Fendler's! I stopped in today and it was again a spring riot of color! They were quite busy at 3:30 in the afternoon, yet I was greeted and helped immediately. I had stopped in a couple of weeks ago looking for a particular plant, and there weren't any available but when I stopped in today they had exactly what I was looking for! It's not a huge nursery but somehow they have a huge selection. It is always a pleasure to shop at Fendler's!

I am writing a review because I noticed that there wasn't one when I first stopped by here. I stumbled by this place by chance when I was headed the wrong way. They had a lot of plants available and I really wanted some bleeding hearts at the time. Although the place is not organized as efficiently as possible, the employee was able to find the type of bleeding heart I was looking for. The plants (3 stems in a pot) had nice leaves and roots, and I was also told whether they should bloom this year or not. It has been about a week now and the plants are flourishing in my shade garden. The plants are definitely of good quality here and I highly recommend them.

I was very pleased of the selection of trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals. And these are not just the same old stuff you see in everyone else's yard. These trees and plants are so well cared for and in good condition. Scott and Steven both were very helpful and knowledgeable. This is me Go to spot for all my garden and landscaping projects.

This is the friendliest nursery in St. Louis. The employees are nice and knowledgeable. The first time I went was for some sod and I ended up going 3 more times in the next few weeks. Highly recommend.

Great people are at this place. Got a last minute Christmas tree. Prices just marked down today! Also a fantastic selection of other plants, tropical, ferns. Oh, also got a Fox Tail fern that I've been looking for everywhere!

My daughter purchased two hanging baskets in May. They died first week of July. There were to many flowers put in it and they became root bound. First time at this nursery and last time. Never had this problem before. My daughter purchases my baskets for mothers day.

Austin was very knowledgeable and friendly. Helped me repot a plant and showed me around the area. I’ll be coming back for gifts and decor needs as well as all thing garden and plants!

Had an amazing time her early this spring. Went for a cactus, left with a lot more! Like our variegated dogwood and GIANT elephant ear bulbs. Every single person stopped to talk to us to offer help and joke around a bit. Can't wait to go back!

I drove from the other side of the river in Illinois to get plants I needed that were only here and was not upset at all. They are knowledgeable, happy to help, reasonably priced; and best of all, the plants look great. Suggest this to others as well as business owners looking to purchase individual or bulk plants.

Four or five days before the holiday, we found the most beautiful Christmas tree at Fendlars. The staff was extremely helpful and trimmed the trunk exactly as I asked, and it fit perfectly in the stand. The tree was beautiful! Thank you for making our holiday so special. I will most definitely return as some serious landscaping needs to happen in the back yard. See you n March!

Absolutely fantastic ownership/staff! Wonderful variety of indoor/outdoor plants that are competitively and thoughtfully priced. I have returned multiple times with friends because Fendler's is a lovely gem!

I went to this nursery looking for a Birthday present for my mother’s 80 th Birthday. It was misting and I had a hurt knee. The moment I got out of my car I was approached by a gentleman named Scott. He helped me decide what would be best and helped me carry both plants to my car. The plants are gorgeous. My mother was trilled. And Scott made the entire experience amazing. I will definitely return to this nursery. The selection was great. The quality was fantastic. And the customer service was outstanding. A great experience !!! Thank you.

I’ve purchased multiple Hollies, Arborvitae, and now a Maple tree from Fendler's. All are thriving! They have a great selection and are a reasonable price for the quality of plants you receive. Larry and his staff are always ready to help! I will keep returning to this nursery for my future planting needs.
