10 out 10 I highly recommend!!!!! One of my contractors stumble upon this goldmine 55mins south of Us! Soooooo worth the drive! Great customer service and to say that seems simple but customer is a thing of the past more often than not, but not at Fendler! Do not take my word, try them out for yourself! I do not have a green thumb not even a half of thumb and they made silly Lillie feel like I can conquer this gardening thing with ease. Just an all around great atmosphere. Thank you for being sooooo kind!

Ok,I'm going to tell you something I know you wasn't expecting to hear from some random guy you know nothing about but I took some expensive plants from the place late at night one time and I feel so bad for doing such a thing but they were so compassionate to me and told me to give the plants back and never show up there again especially when there closed...Lol

Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in helping us choose trees. We will be back!

Fantastic place to shop. The staff is unbelievably helpful & the prices are extremely reasonable because the plants look to be taken care of year around. When you go into that store you're their only focus. The big guy was a huge help outside with help identifying plants for me. The rest of the staff was nothing but friendly, along with the taller lady inside who was warm & knowledgeable. I have & will continue going to Fendler's. No other place I'd rather shop.

I have been a customer for over 25 years and will never shop here again after the big guy responded "I can't price every flower", to my question of ,how am I supposed to know the price of the annuals? I was going to suggest a sign for the annuals but he walked away while I was still talking. I asked the tall skinny cashier how is a person supposed to know how much the annuals are, she didn't respond to that question, only reciting prices. Then , out of the blue she raises her voice and said " I will not ne disrespected," Huh? what are you talking about. To be fair, it was spring and plenty of customers, which makes it imperative to have price signs. Otherwise, the customer can easily have to wait 15 minutes waiting for help. Or the customer leaves. Both could be avoided with price signs on the area for annuals.

This is my absolute FAVORITE Nursery! We have been buying flowers here for 15years now and have always been very pleased with their selection of plants and flowers. Always fairly priced never over. Staff are always very knowledgeable, kind and so helpful. I Highly recommend Fendler to everyone! Thank you Fendler for being so Awesome!!!🪴🌸

Fendler had full size, dry straw bales for a great price. The guy I spoke with was kind, responsive, and helpful. I wish I knew about this place earlier! They had a wide selection of pots, soils, amendments, tools, and even chicken feed. I'm definitely going back

Great local garden center for all your growing needs. Good selection of shade and sun plants. Knowledgeable staff, Scott offered excellent options for Missouri natives. IYKYK

I can't say enough kind words about Scott and Amy, the two employees who assisted me. Very knowledgeable. I'm a novice at growing anything and not only did they help me make the right selections, they instructed me how to take care of them. Their plants were gorgeous and well taken care of. They have everything you could possibly need to garden and hanging plants. Prices were not higher than any place else. Including the hardware stores who only sell plants once a year and you have them to guide you to what will work for you. I highly suggest you give them try. I won't go anywhere else in the future.

Fendler Nursery is one of the best-kept secrets in St. Louis. My wife and I have been regular customers at many of the area garden shops for decades, but we just found out about Fendler's. We had a little free time this morning, so we decided to investigate this nursery. We were impressed as soon as we got out of the truck. The place is neat and clean. They have a great variety of products, and all of the plants are beautiful and in excellent condition. There are no brown, withered plants hidden in a corner like we have found at several area garden shops. Fendler's also has several varieties of unusual plants which we won't find anywhere else we've ever been. We spoke briefly with the owner and with the gentleman who checked up out. Both of them talked proudly about the business and thanked us for our appreciation. Another employee was helpful to answer our questions about some of the plants in which we expressed an interest. The biggest kudos go out to a young man named Avery, whom we encountered as soon as we arrived. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. Avery was professional, polite, and courteous. He answered our questions to the best of his ability, and he asked the manager if he didn't have the answer. Long story sort, we went to Fendler's just to explore and ended up spending over $100. We will be back again, and we urge you to give them a try. We believe that we have just found our new default nursery.

We walked in to Fendler for the first time last week. We are new to the area and this is our closest nursery now.

I was just AMAZED! The staff was incredible and helpful to all of my questions (there were a lot!) I believe I got more than fair pricing for how beautiful and well taken care of my items were.

I cannot wait to go back with my Mom this weekend to shop and show her the beauty. I foresee becoming a regular by next spring and I cannot wait to support them again!

Wide selection, varying prices/sizes, truly something for everyone. Seriously, the staff alone deserves 5 stars, everything else is just an added bonus.

I went to Fendler for the first time today. A very nice gentleman helped me find everything I needed. All of the staff checked on me and helped me carry my plants. The plants are well taken care of and the prices are great. I will be returning!

Great people, excellent staff. In the 63125 area and the home I bought had a mess of a front yard. Fendler's staff talked me through the process of truly killing the weeds and wild grasses. Then after the weeds were dead, I purchased Zenith Zoysia sod and managed (through their helpful installation tips) to lay the sod myself. Watered daily for about 2 weeks and now have a lush and beautiful front yard. I definitely recommend Fendler Nursery and will use them again for future needs. Thanks so very much for your kindness and help through my whole process. 👍

My first visit was a delight. The guys were clearly passionate about plants and gardening. They were very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. They had a great selection of beautiful plants and containers. My only difficulty was deciding which gems to take home. Can't wait to see what goodies I can find next time!

Used these guys for years while in South City for mulch delivery. Always a friendly and quality experience. Unfortunately I have moved out of their delivery range. I learned this by calling them and asking if they would deliver out my way. The staffer was so helpful and even recommended other service providers out my way. Our call got disconnected and they even called me back to be sure I heard them. This made me even more sad I can't use their service anymore! Felt compelled to leave a good review for them.

I love coming to Fendler’s right when they open and walking through the greenhouse in the brisk morning sunshine. These folks know what they’re doing and they’re doing it right. Grateful for the opportunity to be a patron of your work.

Great place to deal with. They have some of the best plants and flowers you can find. Been in business over 30 years. Help support the little guy!!! They sell mulch and top soil by the yard at great prices.

Not only did I get a lovely walk thru showing me some native perennials I didn't know that I wanted... I always get help carrying my purchases to the car, and a friendly knowledgeable (for me) visit. This place is stellar, inside & out. Can't wait to share my ginkgo pics with y'all✌🏽
