Timely, great communication, worked closely with our insurance adjuster and came out to our property multiple times to discuss roof color, siding paint color, additional damage and answer any questions we had.

We decided to go with MalyBuilt because they were local and their lead time was a few weeks compared to the months other companies were describing. By the time we got all things signed, the wait ended up being months anyway.

The schedule kept getting bumped back, sometimes for weather which is understandable, and sometimes because "there were bigger projects" that they had to attend to. I guess I expected that if I agreed on a certain time frame it would be reciprocated regardless of the size of my project compared to others.

The actual workmanship appears to be excellent, we are very pleased with the crews that came out. Clean up was great, and they were very aware of their conduct during and after the work. We did have a leak in a skylight afterwards, and when we finally noticed it and reported it they had someone out that next day, so we really appreciated that response time.

Sorting things out with insurance was another obstacle, for some reason insurance claimed they didn't have some forms, so we eventually had to pay more than our deductible for this claim, which was annoying because we were led to believe the work could be done under that.

Communication with the company was hit and miss, it appeared as though there were only two people working in the office. We went weeks without hearing anything and as soon as we started calling two or three days in a row we would get some activity. Just another aspect of this project taking too long.

Over all this project took entirely too long. We filed our claim in May or June maybe, and we didn't get the actual work done until September maybe? Supplemental work continually got pushed back too, and by the time we finished it and paid the bill it was nearly January. 7 months, Maybe that's to be expected in the industry? That is too long in my book.

We are satisfied because our broken roof/gutters/etc are repaired and that is the ultimate goal.

Hired Malybuilt Restoration a few times now for different, unrelated roofing projects and I don't think I will ever use anyone else. Knowledgeable, friendly service at a fair price.

Never finished the job. Left trash in the yard, shingles and nails in the gutters, gutters hanging off the house. Ignored my calls after awhile after not completing the job. Then threatened a lien on my home after I didn't pay them the 2nd half for doing half their job. Luckily another roofing company doing my neighbor's roof took the 2 full trash cans left in my yard. Gutters never got fixed and they pulled off the the seal that was put in place to keep animals out of my ceiling (that I pointed out on walk through had to be kept sealed) and now I have raccoons crawling in. Would never recommend.
Update: Lovely response from a company that ignored me for 3 months. Then gets upset when I do the same to them. Do 1/2 the job and then expect full payment? See you in court.

We had a small leak in our roof above the kitchen. Noticed it after a hard rain over the weekend. Called Mark and he came out the same day. He found a few small nails in the roof that appeared to be causing the leak. Mark added some sealant to the areas at no charge, and they were not even the original installers! Very appreciative of Mark, and would highly recommend Malybuilt Restoration!!

Malybuilt did a great job with removing our old roof on our house and garage and putting on the new roof. They also added ventilation for the attic and venting for our fans from the bathroom and kitchen. They showed up on time, were professional and had it all complete in 1 day. Thanks, Malybuilt!

Excellent experience both times I had them work on my roof. The company worked with my insurance company on some details so I didn't have to be the middleman. This time, repairs were to the roof, siding and gutters so it took a couple of different time slots to do all of it. Crew was fantastic each time--they made a point to ask if it was ok to leave equipment overnight. I wasn't there when the work was done so can't speak to that but cleanup was thorough. Everything looks great. Recommend!
