Sam was always responsive and understanding. We had plumbing repairs completed along with a vinyl liner replacement. They were always on time and were excellent at holding their commitments.

This is our first time using performance pools. We were in a bind, because our regular pool person couldn't winterize our pool this year.

I sent Sam an email the night before, and they were there the next day to winterize our pool.

They were professional, they were thorough, they were a pleasure to do business with.

We will be using their services again.

SAM installed our pool over five years ago. He has never let us down. He is very helpful and responsive to any issues that come up and usually solve the problems quickly. Highly recommend this company.

We needed help fast with a new pool liner. We called Sam and he was out the next day. He always stayed in touch throughout the process. We now have our new liner, our pool is ready to use! We are thankful we called Performance Pool, we have gotten the best service.

Using this company was the worst choice I have ever made. They started in august of last year and was behind every second. I could live with this as Sam had stated he was busy. What I can’t for the life of me figure out is why my pool is still not finished. He won’t respond to any of my calls or Texts. I ordered a electric pool cover which he had to have paid in full, which was 10k and still have not received. Please do your research on this company. Very shady!!

I called Performance when my usual pool company told me they were so backlogged in pool closings that they would not get to me until January!! I had called this (unmentioned) company to get on their list in mid-August and at the end of October I hadn't heard word. I decided to call to make sure I was actually on the list. I'd say that they need to hire more staff, but regardless, they didn't even bother to pro-actively call their customers to inform them that their pool lines might freeze up by the time they made it down to do the work.
When I called Performance, they scheduled me for that very week. I was not able to get home in time, and I actually got a phone call stating when they finished with the job.
On my initial call I described our pool set up, which has caused previous problems with closing, for some reason, from 2 other pool companies. We have an above ground, but the lines from the main drains at the bottom of the pool run above ground along the edge of the pool (under the deck), have no separate shut-off valves, and apparently are connected to the skimmer lines? in such a manner that causes problems blowing out the lines for some technicians. Anyways, they did the job efficiently with no problems or issues.
What I liked best was they were efficient, actually contacted me by phone, sounded knowledgeable, did the job quickly and didn't overcharge. (My previous company wanted to double the cost from previous year from $300 to $700 because they said my pool should be charged in-ground rates.) And all they had to do was add a few chemicals, and blow out and plug lines - I cover it, and dismantle filter and pump myself.
I definitely will be using them again next year.

We called Performance Pool and Spa after having trouble trying to find a reasonable pool company to help install our pool liner. We live in Omaha and Sam had no problem commuting to NW Omaha to help us. Sam was very professional and always called us back in a timely manner. We have had a pool for 2 years now and this is the most reasonable pool company we have found. They installed our liner within a few hours and left no mess behind. We would recommend Sam and his team to anyone, anytime!

SAM was my first contact with Performance pool and he is a great asset to the company. A very impressive young man who was very thorough and very professional. Everything went as he presented it to me in the contract. I am very satisfied with the job they did and certainly am glad I chose them. I have a home warranty that covers some of the repairs to my pool's equipment. I hired Sam from performance pool and spa for the first time a year ago when I was looking for a pool technician to do some repairs (the home warranty did not have pool technicians under contract in the Lincoln area, so they authorized me to find one my self). Sam has performed a few repairs/ service calls since. All the repair / replacements have been done in a very professional manner and I am very satisfied. Having to deal with a home warranty, Sam had to spend quite a bit of time on the phone and on emails getting the proper authorizations to initiate the repairs and then follow up with the additional paperwork. He did that very well. Also, he did a very good job closing the pool last fall. I have had a very positive experience working with him and I highly recommend Performance pool and spa.

Performance pool and Spas recently replaced outdated non working equipment in our pool. The work was done professionally. Sams recommendations were spot on. He completed the work quickly and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommended.

Whenever we had an issue they have been quick to remedy it. This includes a year afterward with regards to getting a light fixed in the pool that had stopped working.

I highly recommend Performance Pool & Spa Services for any pool renovation/new liner as well as their weekly service. They recently replaced my liner, lines, and added returns, replaced my skimmers and added a light. We couldn't have been happier with how the project went. SAM (the owner) was extremely engaged throughout the entire process. SAM and his team answered all of my questions and concerns (and I had a lot). I was also impressed by the attention to detail throughout the process as well as the expertise that the entire team brought to the project. We are extremely grateful and thankful for the amazing work that Performance did. We now have a beautiful pool to create amazing memories with our family and friends for years to come!

We have had very good interactions with Tim. We had seven versions of the pool. Things just kept changing and being moved around to get what we wanted. He was patient and willing to work with us even though the process took quite a few months.

Sam from Performance Pools is the best and so easy to work with.
We started with another pool company in Lincoln that just took almost $50,000 of our money and wouldn't answer our phone calls texts or return them.
We basically had a mud hole with sides and overgrown with weeds, trees, and mosquitoes for almost two years.
Sam came out and looked at our project and the equipment the first pool guy brought out was not suitable for an in ground pool.
Sam took on our project and completed or pool within two weeks.
Sam always answers his phone calls or he will return them within the same day.
There's a reason this happened because Sam ended rebuilding our steps and making the necessary changes to have a nice working pool.
We had to take out the building permit that the first company should of done.
Needless to say the first company is continuing to take peoples money and not performing. Since last fall Sam's worked on 4 or 5 pools to finish them that the first company took peoples money and did the same thing he did to us.
Again, Sam is the best to work with and is on the job to make sure your pool is done right!!

Sam and his staff are without a doubt one of the best crews you can call on for your pool needs in Lincoln!

Between a liner install (at a price rate considerably more fair than other companies . . . One in particular estimating us at almost 50k!!!) and a last minute need for repairing my above ground plumbing, Performance Spa & Pool have been nothing but timely and effective in the work they’ve done here.

I hired on Sam to do weekly maintenance on our pool. He came out and looked at the pool and told me his guys would come out that afternoon. The guys never showed and I had to follow up multiple times to get them to actually show up. It took 6 days.
Several more follow ups were necessary for the next pool service.
Don’t rely on these guys to actually show up. You’ll have to constantly follow up and check their work. I had asked Sam to find a leak on the cleaner booster pump, he “fixed” the leaking hose connection improperly, guess what hose popped off the next day and emptied 6” of our pool water?

I just had Performance Pools come out to fix my pool pump. They came out the SAME DAY I called and replaced the part the next day with a great brand. Very professional and knowledgeable about their skills. Thank you dear Performance Pool people!

Our 24 year old above ground pool collapsed (the steel structure had rusted out in a spot and blew out the side under the deck. I needed to replace it. It was a bit of a mess since we have an existing deck that conformed to the old pool railing so I needed someone who could not only provide the pool, but also perform a custom installation with an existing deck. I did a bit of research and decided to give Performance Pool & Spa a call based on reviews and their experience doing some complex custom installations.
I talked with Sam and he came out within a couple days to take a look at it and said that they would definitely be able to help with this project. I received the estimate within a few working days and was pleasantly surprised with the overall cost of removing the old pool, providing a new pool, customizing the deck, and installing the new pool.
Once I accepted the bid to move forward with the project, Sam had the demo crew out the same day! Yep, the same day and had the old pool removed by the end of the day. I was amazed. This was on Monday and within the next few days they had the new pool installed and ready to fill. We were using the pool by the weekend. Sam is a consummate professional and was very responsive with all of my questions and worked with me on ensuring everything was done to our satisfaction. The installers were very efficient and ensured everything was done and respected the property to ensure nothing was disturbed or damaged in the process.
Overall, I was extremely pleased with the entire process, the reasonable cost, overall professionalism, and ultimately our new pool (which is a nice upgrade from the old pool as well)! I highly recommend Performance Pool & Spa (6 stars if I could) for your next pool or spa project! Thanks Sam!!!

Performance Pools provided amazing service. Sam was always on time for appointments, did an excellent job installing our new lining & equipment, and gladly provided advice & insights via text or phone call. He even returned an “emergency” call on a Sunday without objection. I would strongly recommend Performance to anyone looking for a new pool company. (Prices were also extremely fair).

We recently purchased an older home with its original pool in place and Sam had been servicing it for several years for the previous owners. He was very generous with his time in helping me get up to speed with its operation and identifying elements needing replacement now vs next season or later. He’s quick to respond, especially it’s an urgent repair need. I’m grateful to have his expertise as a resource.
