This is a great place to do business with. I recently thought that I may be getting overcharged and missing service, but was mistakenly and embarrassingly wrong in assuming so. When looking at invoices, I was looking at the year prior. After talking with Matt, he showed me the invoice history and straightened things out for me.
In a nutshell, research before you speak! I was entirely wrong in the scenario, and was completely out of line when calling. Matt was professional even after I had lost my cool. I am man enough to admit when I am wrong, and this was one of those times. Strongly recommend doing business with Harms Refuse.

I was using Harms refuse for my waste and extremely happy with the service. The best part was that Harms didn’t expect us to wheel our bins down to the street. They would empty them and return them exactly where they stay. The association in which I live decided to include trash removal in with association dues and of course raise the amount. they choose a diff company, and I miss Harms. Thank you for your service.

UPDATE: May 6th 2026. On April 30th 2026, I was able to get into contact with Matt, we spoke and he credited my account and closed my account as of April 30th. Just waiting for the cans to be picked up and taken. They were a good company to work with, just had to do what was best for my budget.

We have had service through them since we purchased our home in 2022. For the most part we haven't had any issues. There have been a few times that they have miss charged me for previous months that they did correct. We were looking into cheaper options and found one with a competitor. I wanted to cancel service by the end of this month to avoid being roped into another billing cycle, I have been reaching out since last Friday via voicemail, contact form through their website and as of today text, with ZERO reply. I have enjoyed this company but wanted a cheaper option and it sucks that I cant even reach someone to cancel service, I had to resort to putting a note on my cans.

Quick response to our inquiry for service and then scheduled in a timely manner and work completed very professionally.

If you are looking for a company that doesn't return any of your phone calls and looking for a company that doesn't show up to scheduled appts, this is your company.

Their customer service is beyond terrible. The rare time they did answer the phone, we set an appt for them to come out and they never showed up....shocker!

Don't waste your time with these guys. You will regret it. Looks like other reviewers have had the same experience.

Fred is amazing. He has been quick to respond whenever we request service. Fred and his crew do great work.

Not impressed. I called just before Christmas and asked for an estimate for my mother's anchorage. He said he could get me an estimate by January 1st, but I never got a call. I called twice after that and left messages asking for a call back with no response. I called today (1/18/17) and reached the owner. His response to me was "Oh yeah, we went and looked, but it isn't going to work out for us." No apology or anything for his lack of effort in responding to my voicemails. I will send my business elsewhere.

I had Fred and his team from FM Lawncare come and do a cleanup on my yard lots of branches pine needles and leaves a very fair price and my yard looks amazing would recommend them to anyone needing help with their yard

We have worked with FM for 35 years, they do wonderful work. Fred Freytag, the owner, is very knowledgeable and a great help with problems in the yard.

Fred is a great guy and really knows what he is doing. He will mow, fertilize, and care for yard better than any lawn care company in Lincoln HANDS DOWN.

I’ve used FM Lawn Service for fall cleanup the last two years and have been thoroughly impressed with with the results. They touch every inch of the yard and remove all leaves from my twelve trees.

Should have read these reviews prior to trying to work with this company. Just like the others, they would never return phone calls and the 2 appts I had set up, they didn't show up to either (had to set the 2nd one since they no showed to the first one). They were referred by a friend, but later found out the friend stopped service with them since they wouldn't consistently service their yard like they agreed to. Also love how they reply to a Google review 6 months later (probably about the same time it takes them to return a phone call) and try to deny the customer had the experience they have. Just to make it clear so they can't make the same rebuttal, I do own property within Lancaster County, and can easily prove the communication I've had with them (or lack there of). You would be way better off going with a different local company.

I've used FM lawn care for several years to aerate and do fall clean up. The owner is attentive to detail and they keep you informed of when they will be coming out or if there are delays. Very reasonable prices.

Best lawncare professionals in Lincoln. We have used FM Lawncare for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. Not only have they helped us maintain a beautiful lawn and landscape they have taught us a great deal about proper conservation methods. Don't mow too short. Set your sprinklers properly and do regular maintenance on the system. Select the right plants and grass seed. Thank you FM Lawncare for your many years of service to our community. You are simply the best!

We have used FM Lawncare for several years now and our yard has never looked better. These folks are very responsive to any concerns you have with your lawn, trees and shrubs. Super nice, very professional.

FM maintains many properties in my neighborhood and they do a phenomenal job. I had them start doing my two properties and they have done a great job. They are professional and punctual. I look forward to having them care for my yards.

Great team. Had them do leaf removal on yard. Profrssional, fast service. Have equipment to do job quickly (did entire yard in little over hour). Made a return trip to clean gutters as leaves were frozen on that day. Would recommend and will use again.
