Great guys to work with

I can't say enough good things about Mike & his crew! He took on my retaining wall project that was abandoned by a different individual, corrected what was there & saw it through to a BEAUTIFUL completion. I never thought I would see the day that this wall would be done. I have been needing this to happen for so many years. Today, I'm finally looking at a dream come true. Thank you SOOOOO much Mike!!!

Mike and crew removed an old brick patio and designed and laid a new stone one. The ideas made it much more useable. It is absolutely beautiful. Pictures to come in spring when the gardens have a chance to show it off. Good man!

Do NOT use this company. They were hired to put a partial driveway pad and drainage structure at my house. They changed the whole drainage system plan without consulting me and never came back to finish the job. I have called Mike the owner numerous times over the last year to come back and finish the job and he tells me that he will be out but never shows up. I cant even drive onto the driveway pad they poured because it is so much taller than the rest of the driveway. I have had to pile rocks and boards by the driveway landing to be able to even drive my car on it to park. His workers were unbelievably rude as well. I could provide numerous pictures but no way to upload them. Bottom line....USE ANOTHER COMPANY!!!

Mike did a great job throughout the process of talking through everything and keeping me informed on a retaining wall I wanted replaced. He developed a plan to minimize interruptions for me and my neighbors and his crew was very courteous and professional throughout the entire project. I will definitely be looking into having him work on my kitchen next.

I had a big, complex job... gut the kitchen - new cabinetry, new flooring, new stainless steel appliances, granite counter top, the works. New light fixtures and light switches throughout the entire home. New flooring in 3 other rooms (main bath, sun room, entry way). Paint in 4-5 rooms, also.

Not only did Mike and crew do the job promptly (the whole job was finished in 3 weeks, which is amazing), but they did excellent work. Long story short... contract with confidence - these are people with the resources, creativity, and integrity to get your project moving in the right direction!

Schmidt Construction did an amazing job putting up our retaining wall. If you want a thoroughly well done job, hire Mike Schmidt! He was there everyday with his crew making sure everything was done perfectly. He tore out my old flower beds & rebuilt them, and when I came to look at how they turned out, I found he had purchased mums for me to plant. He was so thoughtful and made sure we were completely happy with the finished product. We were!!

I got a half dozen bids for building a basement walkout retaining wall. Not only was he one of the cheapest, Mike was the only one who explained to me the step by step process he uses in building walls. He and his crew did an excellent and quick job. The wall he built for me exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend him for any retaining wall job.

Our second project with Craig and team required lots of creativity and ingenuity from Joe and everything turned out great. They always choose respectful subcontractors and there was never any significant downtime with our project.

Supervisors out to “get supplies” then brunch then lunch then back to ask why nobody got anything done.

We used CTC to fix and finish a large remodel. It wasn’t a good experience.

HevDoes not pay his subs. If you are a client Get a lien waiver from the subs. He will never admit when he is wrong. I would not recommend anyone to do any work for him.
