After the storm in July, I had several trees on my roof and contacted American Arborist. They did an estimate, that said in all caps that an OPPD line drop would be required.

I accepted the invoice and they said they would contact OPPD. 3 weeks later, I contact them to see how much longer and Mitch said he was waiting for OPPD to come out to trim the trees off the line. I had to tell him that it was a transverse line and he had to schedule a line drop. Once I told him that, the work actually got scheduled. So apparently, they do not actually read the estimates to see what is required.

Then I get home today after the work was completed and they had piled all the branches and tree pieces in the road. Since trees can't stay in the road and I have roofers coming tomorrow who need to park there, I had to go out and move all the branches back into the yard. If they had just asked where to put them, it would have been helpful. But at the very least, you can't leave it all in the road.

They did a very good job for me. I had a very big tree that was very close to the house that I was worried about and they removed that tree with no issues at all. They also trimmed another tree. I am very happy with their work. And they were great people to work with.

Great communication, amazing job, priced competitively. They've helped with several tree jobs of mine, and even during the storm their communication was prompt early and often until the job was complete. The area was clean when they left. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend!

Best tree service you will find in Omaha hands down! Had lots of damaged trees from the storm. They trimmed some removed some more and when they were done they cleaned up everything spotless. They were very skilled and extremely courteous. Would recommend them to anyone needing tree work done. Thank you

This tree company was contracted by my next door neighbor. We were hit with a bad storm in July and some of my branches were hanging from the tree. These guys finished their job next door and came to my house and got those branches down free of charge because it was dangerous! I attached a picture below. They were a God sent looking out for our safety! I will definitely be using these guys when I need to trim the tree again!

The team came out on time did an extremely professional job tree looks great. I would highly recommend.

American Arborist recently took down a tree for my daughter and son in law. They did a great job removing the dead tree and cleaned the entire work area up after they finished.

Great job trimming our trees this morning, they pay attention to details and take time to make sure you understand why and what they are trimming. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience with American Arborist. They removed a large ash that was near death due to the ash borer, two smaller trees that were too close to the house to grow well, and trimmed two large storm damaged but still healthy shade trees so there is no more risk of limbs falling on an area frequented by pets and kids, or on my neighbors fences. Their crew was respectful of our property and time, cleaned up the debris, and asked me if the work was satisfactory. The price was competitive for a truly professional operation. Will use again.

Corey‘s tree trimming crew sent by American Arborist answered all my questions and did a careful and thorough job of helping rescue my Ash tree from the Ash bore. They cleaned everything up and were a real three man team.

Korey and Lloyd were outstanding. They ran into a couple of obstacles while removing three trees but easily overcame them. They did a great job with clean up also.

The crew who took our tree down were friendly and efficient. From taking the tree down to stump grinding and cleanup they were exceptional! Thank you!

The crew did a very good job taking down my tree in a small back yard bordered by other trees. Clean up was good. And great guys you could converse well with.

We hired American Arborist for a tree trimming job and we expected a professional standard of work and customer service. Unfortunately, the results fell short. It felt like the bare minimum was done and overall the work looked sloppy, incomplete, and unprofessional.

We contacted them to express our concerns, and they did come back out to look. However, instead of taking responsibility and listening respectfully, the woman we spoke with was super defensive and dismissive. She made me feel ridiculous for bringing up the issues, and the tone of the conversation left us feeling more disappointed about the experience.

Definitely do not recommend this company. We gave them a second chance to demonstrate good customer service, and they opted not to. We expected a higher level of care and professionalism and unfortunately that just wasn't delivered (and the trees look worse than when he hired them!).
