Our furnace went out after hours. We called the after-hours team and Barry (tech) arrived quickly and had the problem fixed even quicker. He was courteous, efficient, and such a blessing on a cold night. Would 100% recommend Barry and this company!

Sara, Jeff, Brian, Alex and Jose were amazing. We called on a Thursday morning, freezing cold day to say our heater went out and we needed a new one. Sara was very helpful when we called the office and got us in touch with Jeff right away. Jeff was able to meet with us within the hour, came up with a plan and we had heat by 3:00 p.m. The next day Brian, Alex and Jose returned to finish the job, add the air cleaner and new ducts and vents to improve our system. This was our first experience with River City Heating and Cooling, and we are now customers for life.

River City is a great, reliable company that actually follows through with a system of sending reminder cards by postal mail when it's time for an annual check. Twice in the last 25 years we made a mistake by going with another company because others were offering very low cost inspections. It was a mistake because neither of the other companies followed through with either a simple phone call or postcard reminder like they promised. No idea why it's so difficult. River City is exceptionally reliable and we are going to start specifically asking for our tech (Bob) to be a regular. Bob is so friendly and cordial; he knows our system and cares about us, so we trust him just as much as we trust River City.

I used River City Heating and Cooling to put in a new furnace and Air Conditioning in my house. Brad Goldenstein was very easy to work with and answered all my questions and concerns. I would recommend them to all of my family and friends from the great professional job I received.

I had an AC unit that needed to be installed. This was the only company in Omaha that would install a unit that was not purchased from them. As expected they did not warranty the unit but did warranty their labor. Jeff not only addressed the issue I wanted done but identified other areas that were not up to code. He worked with my and did not charge me for the things that were not needed. The installation techs were nice and pleasant to work with. Would recommend to family and friends.

We are really happy with our new air conditioner and furnace! So happy, in fact, we invited them back for another project: resizing our original, 50-year-old ductwork. We met the River City employees working on our project and immediately felt comfortable with them in and around our home. It's refreshing to talk to people who are passionate and interested in the work they do! When my wife or I have questions, River City employees are eager to answer them. When I suggested a modification, they were willing to make the change, even though it meant more work for them. My wife and I were also really impressed with the turnaround: When our old air conditioner broke, they showed up, showed us options, and got to work right away! Amazing!

Even at the end of the business day, River City responded within minutes when our unit was not functioning correctly. Jeff identified the issue quickly and made an adjustment to get the air cooling right away. Excellent service and the professionalism we have always experienced from this company! We bought a heat pump years ago and were in need of a new air conditioner to replace the heat pump that was getting old and not working well. Jeff M. at River City was great to work with and helped us make the best decision for what we needed for our home. He was able to fit us into the schedule quickly and the installers were here on time and did a great job. They kept me updated of their progress and answered any questions I had. Even with some of the tweaking they had to do to our furnace, they were finished sooner than I thought.

The team at River City Heating & Cooling is excellent. I replaced two A/C units over a 30 day period of time. The owner/manager offered to lend us a portable A/C unit until the equipment came in. The prices offered were the best in town. And after installation, follow-up visits and calls were made to our home to confirm quality delivery. The visits were unexpected and welcomed. Great service! I would recommend River City Heating & Cooling to anyone looking for a fair, reasonable, reputable and honest company.

River City Heating and cooling was easy to work with, quickly found what was causing my AC to not work, and fixed it very quickly with parts on hand and professional quality work. It was nice they had an office person available for scheduling on Saturday mornings and we were able to get it fixed by Monday. They were also extremely reasonably priced and we appreciated their service. Our technician was Tyler and he did outstanding work!

Called to make an appointment and was notified that I would be placed on the schedule for after 3pm. Received a call from River City that they had a technician that had come available and could get to the house sooner. Notified the person that it would take me awhile, at least 30 minutes or more to get to the location due to being at work and being across town. They did call me to see where I was at and told them I was almost there like 7 to 10 minutes. Arrived at the house before 10 minutes and tech was not there. Then was placed after 3 pm the next day because their spots had filled. When questioning what about the 3 pm spot was notified that spot had filled. I have used River City to install a heating and a/c unit in my old house, maintain the systems at that house and the new house as well as numerous times for my employer and had always been satisfied with their service until now. It is fine, there are plenty of other A/C companies out there and many with better customer service. Maybe it is a lesson learned to keep your original appointment and not try to be accommodating to a business, but working people can’t just drop everything because a business has a cancellation. Called to notify them to cancel the appointment for tomorrow and was notified they received the google review and had already cancelled it, no need to notify the customer.

In review of the ring cameras, the companies response is completely false. The technician was at the house for less than 15 minutes. Also, the original call was at 11:13 am, the technician arrived at 11:42, left at 11:55 am, and I was home by 12:06 pm. Another company came out within the hour and diagnosed what was wrong. They also indicated that it should have been identified on the bi-yearly service done by River City. If the response is from the owner you may want to tell your scheduler to get her ears checked, realize people have cameras these days and maybe proofread your responses before posting.

I have worked with River City multiple times both at my home and business. Always prompt, professional, and up front about costs. There was only ever an issue once and they had a great discussion with me and worked hard to fix my problem. Techs have always been friendly and explain everything as they go.

We called River City Heating and Cooling to get a second opinion on a pricy furnace repair recommendation made by another company. We got an appointment the same day. The technician was very professional and thorough. He told us that there was nothing wrong with our furnace and even had another technician stop by on the next day to confirm his diagnosis at no extra charge. We are very impressed with River City Heating and Cooling. They’ll get our business from now on.

Tech was almost 30 minutes late (called after my scheduled time that he was on his way), was here 5 minutes and said he couldn't work on my unit. I have used River City for 20 years at the same house and never has anyone from the company said they couldn't work on my unit. Per a call to the office, they require 2 feet around the unit but I have NEVER been told that in the 20 years I have been supporting this company and I have had multiple repairs, a new furnace, A/C, etc done.

We always use River City to maintain our furnace and AC. The technician who was out today, Eddie, seemed particularly thorough in his inspection and testing of the furnace. I appreciated him sharing what was important to examine and clean during maintenance. I hope Eddie is the technician on future service calls.

The service from River City has always been excellent and reasonable, we have used them for several years. They don’t try to upsell you on parts. The service guys are knowledgeable and friendly, recently had Eddie install a new thermostat and then our semiannual inspection (which is very reasonable compared to others in the past) and maintenance.
