Had inspection completed before selling my house. My system is 3 years old. They told me my furnace was giving of high levels of CO2. I was charged $300.00. I decided to get 2nd opinion, another company came out the same day and CO2 levels were not elevated. I will not be using River City again. Either we're incompetent or scammers.

This company is trash, wouldn’t even call to speak to me directly over the phone. Received transactional texts. Obviously this is a situation that should be spoken about over a phone call.

LAST YEAR they had a tech come by for my annual maintenance plan. Nice guy but he clearly was newer. In brief, yesterday we found the HVAC humidifier is leaking all over my basement. Just turn off the humidifier for now no problem right? Went behind my unit to turn knob off and the entire knob just fell off. We have had zero reason to go behind our unit otherwise! I know for a fact it was ok when the tech prior to that came because that specific tech showed me something on it!

Reach out to them and they said it’s been over 30 days so it’ll be $150 service call. I’m suppose to pay for something from your tech’s negligence? Absolutely NOT. I can’t believe the kid wouldn’t say anything and just stuck it on there to look like it was on.

Not cool. Do better. Be better.

Response to owner: first of all, closer to 1 year mark NOT 18 months according to my records! AND obviously the leak itself is not your fault!! Other factors in why it’s leaking yes and I actually see the issue... The broken knob on unit he messed with is the factor you’re responsible for. I could have stopped leak for the time being if knob wasn’t broke until HVAC could come fix! Maybe if your office staff would have actually called to resolve and not been so non customer satisfaction focused this could have been resolved and you could have kept your customer. 💁🏻‍♀️ You guys could have fixed the knob at YOUR OWN EXPENSE then I would have paid to fix the leak!! Different tech of course! Take care Brad!

I have been a River City customer for 15 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else!!! Kim in the office is AMAZING and my senior technician Eddy today was first class AWESOME !!
