Mechanical plus installed a new filter which uses the electronic polarized-media technology and I will say they were timely and were done fairly quick. The installer was really nice and very helpful. I had the same unit installed in my previous home and the installation company did not even take the time to show me what I was looking for or even how to change the filter. Mechanical Plus’ installer took the time to explain the system, what the lights mean, how to place the filter, and took me outside to show me on my breaker how to shut it of prior to changing it. The new filter system is amazing.

Consumer Beware: Called in for a diagnostic and tech that came out straight out wanted to sell me a new unit, for $14K. He was doing the typical “see this and see that?” Their diagnostic fee is also expensive at $140 when 1 Hour AC their competitor charges $89 on a Sunday. Also their Refrigerant R410a at $385/lb is a highway robbery. Watch out!

Btw, if you have a leak - then they charge you a leak diagnostic, which is not part of diagnostic fee.

Call them after ac not cooling. They were at my house in an hour. Stayed as long as it took to fix. I've known this company for a couple years. Refer them to all my clients. Friendly, knowledgeable, trusted and get the job done.
