Constraction reviews in Las Vegas, Nevada

3 star average is accurate. You will get your pool, but the experience along the way will be bumpy and unpleasant.
Vidal is hot and cold. Some days he delivers great service and is pleasant to work with, but other days not so much. When you have bumps along the way, prepare to be treated like you the customer are the problem, instead of him taking accountability and reassuring you that he’ll fix it. It will be an argument to get things fixed.
Everything is sub contracted out which is why they have so many issues. They don’t know the crew coming to your house, or the work they do.
Here were my 4 main issues I experienced:
1. Design of my yard did not match approved rendering. I declined initial rendering, wanting more grass. Vidal sent a new updated rendering which I approved. Well, final product is here and they designed my yard off of the initial rendering I declined. I brought up my concerns to him on day 1
& was dismissed “trust the process”. Product completed & I was right. They build my yard off the wrong rendering. Brought this to Vidal’s attention. No apology. No accountability. He was so rude. Told me my design was not possible. Maybe so but that should have been communicated to me ahead of time and not just done without my permission. We did eventually come to an agreement and I am happy with this now, but I was not happy with the customer service leading up.
2. Concrete company was a total mess, trashed our neighborhood streets. Concrete poured all over a tree trunk in my front yard. Tree will likely die. Plus a huge spill - concrete poured out the back of the truck all over the streets as they drove out of our community. HOA and one of my neighbors were furious. Uncomfortable for us. Took a long time to get cleaned up.
Later received certified letter from concrete company that they’d placed a lien on our home due to non payment from Vintage. I guess Vintage wasn’t happy with the concrete guys either so they withheld payment, which resulted in the lien. Fixed now aside from my poor tree in my front yard. Vidal confirmed today 8/13/24 that he has no plans to do anything about our tree.
3. Pool light was not installed correctly. Seal is faulty. Water filled the pool light on day one of adding water to our pool. I brought this up to Vidal immediately, he said it’s a warranty issue. Our pool construction still wasn’t even complete, and it was an issue day one so it’s clearly not a warranty issue. Just wasn’t installed correctly. Pool light doesn’t work at all. Took 45+ days to fix. The warranty company spoke very poorly of Vintage Pools when they came to our home. So their reputation is clearly notorious even with their partners.
4. Tile. Had a dispute over the tile design. Our rendering had a tile accent on the stairs, but apparently our contract did not include this. Vidal agreed to add it. Send his tile guy back out. Drained the pool and he added the tile strip but it was done so poorly. He left huge cuts in our pool foundation that were sharp and rigid. There’s no way he missed them. They were huge. We brought this to Vidal. So tile guy had to come out again to drain the pool and repair the cracks he left. He got most but not all. It’s a brand new pool, shouldn’t be any cracks. Vidal again is treating us like we are the nuisance when the reality is he’s got bad crews and there’s just no quality control
Like I said - you will get a pool and for that you will be happy. But prepare yourself for a drawn out process and to be treated like you’re the problem for simply holding them accountable for your $45k+ investment.
Final items to note:
their office phone will be out of service periodically.
A large pool loan company would not write new business with vintage because they had too many customer complaints with them. We got approved, but not with them specifically.
Vintage can’t find a good concrete company to do the sub contract work. See above. Check out Robertson’s concrete out of Corona CA on Google - that’s who they subbed for our pool in Las Vegas. Awful reviews. Worse than Vintage even. -
Our pool building experience was 5 STAR. Vidal our Project Manager went above and beyond with amazing communication, complete understanding regarding our fur babies, and honestly is a friend now. We would recommend Vintage Pools 100% to anyone looking to build in Las Vegas. The crews were fast, considerate, CLEAN and awesome people. The follow up after each step, the care they took to make sure every single detail was perfect, and of course the beauty of our pool is making our Las Vegas home complete. Thank you Vidal and thank you Vintage Pools!🌞

Laguna Pool and Spa turned my dirt lot into a Las Vegas paradise! We met with 4 contractors and from the first meeting these guys were different. They gave me confidence they knew what they were doing and had done this many many times. They gave me advice and provided recommendations and they were spot on. The whole team was very professional, great communication, hit deadlines. They also had great follow up and made sure everything was down to our liking. They never tried to sell, but provided recommendations and opinions without trying to nickel and dime us. I’m definitely using them again on my next pool build!!

Laguna Pools did a great job! We loved working with Blake & Dewey on designing the backyard of our dreams. Cesar was excellent to work with and made sure to get everything completed to our liking. He and his team were always friendly and our dog loved them. Overall, amazing experience and we are so beyond happy!!

Don’t waste your money on this so called “company” they are terrible especially Tim and Blake

I've worked with Laguna Pools 3 times over the years. they first built and pool in my back yard and did a back yard remodel. Then they remodeled my front yard and recently I did another remodel of my backyard. Each time the project turned out perfectly! They provide the same amazing service they provided years ago when I first hired them. My newest project is exactly what I wanted! My back yard is my own white paradise.

We spent over six figures on a pool project with Laguna, and it turned out to be one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve had as homeowners. The workmanship was unacceptable — basic issues like uneven surfaces, poor spacing, and other fundamental mistakes were obvious. When errors were pointed out, the response was often “we’ll fix it” as if these problems were normal. In other cases, the response was “we aren’t going to fix that.” In one major instance, the owner flatly told us, “I’m not fixing it,” making it clear that repairs were handled at their discretion rather than according to the agreed plans.
Once the contract was signed, communication deteriorated dramatically. Reaching the owner was nearly impossible, and after final payment, warranty follow-up became virtually nonexistent. Most calls and emails went unanswered for months. On the rare occasions I did reach someone, I was told dismissively that they were “too busy.”
A pool project is a major investment, and this company left us with deep regret. While the staff may appear friendly at first, our experience was that professionalism, accountability, and quality were lacking once the work began. -
I think we had a horrible experience we had with Laguna. The sales pitch was great - they were friendly and nice and responsive. Then the terrible quality started, the lack of response, the ongoing excuses and delays, and what I consider to be a pretty obnoxious owner if you consider mentioning any of this to them. And once I made the final payment it took months and months to get responses. Who knows if my so called 'warranty' is even worth anything at this point.

🚨Terrible experience especially when you invest more than $100k in a project and end up with people who are BAD in communication and the worst with being on time.
If you really want something special DONT use Laguna, they are the worse on so many levels!
I would say the designing process was way better but nothing creative tbh plus when it comes to execution they’re the worst. Wasting weeks and weeks waiting for nothing.
The worst experience we have ever had.
DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL -
The end product was good. It took some grunt work to get there with some lack of detail but Caesar saw where the mistakes were made and left me a satisfied customer. Not knowing the process or how the pool was being built I felt there could have been some more guidance through the process. Thank you again for the hard work.

We had a great experience with Laguna Pool & Spa. From design to finish project everything turned out exactly as we imagined it would be. We couldn't be happier.

Laguna Pool and Spa has to be the worst pool building company in Las Vegas! Save yourself the headache and frustration...Do Not Use This Company to build any type of pool/landscaping. Their mission statement in my opinion is not shown in their workmanship or customer service.
I want to make this perfectly clear; I DID NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY for any type of work!
The headache this company has caused is very disturbing. The sad part is that their customer service does not exist. Now I understand how other concerned individuals state that one star shouldn't even be an option for a review, there should be Negative Ratings to make things more impactful on how irresponsible and unprofessional companies are. I am surprised these companies are still allowed to do business in the state of Nevada. The owner has not reached out once to even try to rectify my concerns, goes to show, only care about that high profit margin at anyone’s expense.
This company has used my driveway as their workstation, their trash area, and loading/unloading of materials. I have contacted their company and the secretary has tried to resolve what she can in her power, but I can tell that her word does not hold any weight. The overseeing supervisor to this project is very incompetent. The same protocol answers, "yes, I'm sorry, I'll let my guys know" "It wont happen again" and offers zero compensation or solution to rectify the situation. His text responses are very condescending. Amazing how inept this individual is.
The pictures I will be posting is just a few of the issues I have faced with Laguna Pool and Spa. Again, I want to make this perfectly clear.....I DID NOT sign a contract with this company to do any work!! There was an incident where I found an unopened condom on my driveway, disclaimer: I do not have this picture because I was with my son at the time I found it and did not feel the need to discuss what that item was to a 10 yr old, I had to discreetly grab and dispose of it before he saw it.
If the following pictures don’t paint a picture of how unprofessional Laguna Pool and Spa company is, then good luck hiring them. Again the view/angle of my pictures is on my property. The work being done should have been to the house on the left of the camera view. I posted a before picture of our street recently repaved less than a year ago and the aftermath of what Laguna Pool and Spa has ruined.
STAY AWAY FROM: Laguna Pool and Spa -
This past April 2025 I had Pool & Spa (LP&S) remodeled my Pool Waterfall, Spa & Pool tile. I am so happy I chose LP&S instead of the two other companies I got quotes from that were not trustworthy.
Dewey Forte of LP&S quoted my job. He listened to what I needed and bid accd. to that. He had no problem running my project thru the HOA. The quote was very clear, detailed in project steps and payment schedule. The entire project price was reasonable relative to the project scope. Stayed in communication thru out the job, and made sure everything was completed as quoted. And all the office and LP&S workers were outstanding. Shannon responded to my questions and was always ready to help. Scott, Mike… the tilers- all of the support team were personable, responsible, respectful of property-a pleasure to interact with.
I could not end my review without saying that Juan, the Waterfall remodeler was a true artisan. Wow! Really he rebuilt, sealed, painted and modeled the made material to look beautiful and perform better.
I could not be more pleased with this entire process. LP&S are the best. I would not hesitate to use them again. -
They did a great job designing our pool and backyard. Even with a smaller space, they made the most of it and created something that feels open and modern. I wanted something simple but stylish, and they absolutely delivered. Very happy with how everything turned out.

We chose Laguna in 2024 to remodel our pool, investing approximately $35,000. This review reflects our personal experience and perception of the project.
Our experience with this remodel was deeply disappointing. The project, in our view, lacked the level of organization, supervision, and professional communication that should be expected for a renovation of this scale.
The design and construction process gave us the impression that the project was not actively managed. The designer assigned to our project appeared to us to have limited experience, and we did not feel supported by adequate project oversight during construction.
One of the most frustrating issues involved tile installation. Only enough tile was ordered to complete part of the pool. After installation and grouting of the first batch, we waited about one week for additional material. The second installation was completed by a different crew, and the grout color difference was visually noticeable. The grout removal process required sanding, and in our experience, this created visible surface scratches. In addition of laying the spillwall tiles in a way that needed to be done multiple times as the installer wasn’t able to lay them straight
The waterfall spillway coating was represented to us as a durable black finish. Over time, the coating bubbled and failed. The repair approach used spray paint, which we personally did not consider a professional long-term solution. Since that repair, we have avoided using the waterfall system.
The plaster color selected was intended to match the pool’s black bench design. The final plaster appearance did not match what we expected based on our selection, which we got to understand months after. After completion, we were informed that approval had been signed, although we did not feel there was adequate construction-stage confirmation of material application. The pool has required repeated draining and sanding work, which was very disruptive to our use of the property.
The spillway paint failure also resulted in staining on adjacent white tiles, based on our observations. Suggested cleaning products did not resolve the staining, and the marks remain visible. We cannot determine the technical cause of the staining, but the result has been permanent.
In February 2026, after multiple attempts to communicate regarding unresolved concerns, the owner visited our home while the pool was again being drained for plaster repair. The visit was announced the previous evening; however, there was no notice before entering the property to inspect the pool.
During the interaction, we felt the conversation became confrontational, and it ended when the owner left without addressing the concerns we raised. From our perspective, our feedback was not being listened to.
Construction projects can have unexpected challenges. However, our experience was characterized by what we perceived as poor follow-up, lack of accountability, and unresolved workmanship concerns.
A pool remodel is a significant investment that affects daily living and property value. Based on our experience, we strongly encourage potential customers to carefully evaluate this company before making a contracting decision and find a company who would support involvement and team approach.
This review is based on my personal experience and opinion as a customer and is not intended as a statement of objective fact beyond what I directly observed. -
Laguna Pools did a fabulous job designing and executing our beautiful backyard! The whole experience went smooth and everyone was very helpful and communicative. We are grateful we chose them and will definitely be recommend Laguna to our family and friends!

From concept design to completion, it was delight working with Dewey and the entire team at Laguna Pool and Spa for my new pool and bbq/media area. Dewey is exceptional in making the process easy to understand and helping pick out the choices that worked for my space and my budget. It turned out great! Couldn’t be happier with it!

We had an excellent experience with Laguna Pool and Spa and couldn’t be happier with the results. From the very beginning, they were true experts when pitching design ideas and helping us visualize what our backyard could become. Throughout the entire process, Tim, Cesar, and Blake were fantastic communicators. They were professional, responsive, and easy to work with. The project was well managed, and the final result is absolutely beautiful. Our backyard turned out better than we imagined, and we are extremely happy with the work they did. Highly recommend Laguna Pool and Spa!

Laguna Pools has built two incredible pools for me, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the initial design process through post-build support, every aspect was extremely professional and pleasant. (For reference, I’ve built four pools total, the other 2 builds were nowhere near the experience i’ve had with Laguna Pools.)
What really stood out was the collaborative design process, managing to the budget, and on-time delivery of two beautiful pools. One project was a more straightforward design, while the other was a full-scale backyard living space that included a swim-up bar, outdoor kitchen, multiple fire features, and landscaping—and both were executed flawlessly.
I highly recommend Laguna Pools and will absolutely use them again for any future builds. -
Our experience with Laguna Pool and Spa has been amazing.
In particular, Cesar and his team do amazing work.
We have security cameras and we watch as they worked very hard, especially during the extreme heat during these Vegas summers.
They arrive promptly every day at 7am and work continuously till days end. We watch as the foreman would continuously and meticulously take measurements to make sure the tiles are straight and aligned and level.
We had them build a stand alone BBQ structure that we added gas heaters and a ceiling fan and outdoor TV. Cesar and his team made sure that each item was installed as requested and worked perfectly.
Cesar would always be willing to meet with you on his off days (Saturday) to go over any feedback that you have. Cesar and his team are also very attentive and responsive to whatever issues or items that require immediate attention very quickly.
Also Blake designed our front yard landscaping and his landscaping team did an excellent job making it a reality. Blake would take the time to meet with you at the nursery and walk thru and pick out the plants that appeal to you. We wanted a very low maintenance design but also something that looked beautiful. Blake is also cognizant about strategically placing plants to hide pool equipment. After approving the final design, the selected plants arrived the following day!We watched as Blake’s team would place each plant accurately according to the design and would take measurements to make sure all the plant spacing are equal from each other.
You always hear about nightmare experiences when hiring pool and landscape contractors. Our experience has been a direct opposite of that.
We are so happy to have hired Laguna Pool and Spa for our pool and BBQ structure. -
I of course went through the process of contacting multiple companies. I picked Crystal Cove for a few reasons - competitive pricing, communication & personal touch.
