I had a layout of a new pool in mind for the new home that I recently purchased. Looking at pictures, magazines and at other designs, I finally settled on a design that I wanted for my yard. I interviewed and bid the job out to 5 of the leading pool building companies in Las Vegas. I presented them all with the same design so that I could get comparable bids. The winner, Xterior Creations Pools and Spas, was the one that came in the cheapest and the one that had the best ideas as to how to go about building the pool and spa along with the sunken living room. They were knowledgeable and informative throughout the entire process- keeping me informed every step of the way! Donna, their coordinator, I like to call her (the Rock Star!) kept in contact through email and with phone calls, to make sure the process went smoothly! Even the pool plaster subcontractor, commented that Xterior was the best company that they worked for out of the 5 pool builders because Xterior makes a great product! This totally confirmed my thoughts about them as if I actually needed another reason to assure me that I made the right choice. I even referred Xterior to my friends who are now having a poll built by them as well. Way to go Xterior Creations Pool and Spas! If you need a pool builder, I would highly recommend them!

Our experience with Xterior Creations was fantastic! The design process was amazing. You are asked questions about what you like and want in a pool and landscaping. Then you get this amazing 3-D video. I was amazed on how the pool and landscaping turned out Identical to the video! Our neighbors are all asking who did our pool and if we were happy with the Customer Service. I immediately tell them yes! and give them all the information. What a great experience.

Very good experience from design to finish. We started off working on the design of the pool and backyard with Jason. He also recommended a landscaping company to use as well as a company to build our patio cover. Both companies did a great job in completing their respective designs. Every step of the pool build started and finished on time. Communication was also excellent with everyone involved. From the start with Jason to Donna coordinating the work flow to the super Dan making sure each step was completed on time and putting up with all my questions to even the owner Dan, who actually came out several times to ensure everything was completed to our satisfaction. He actually completed the pool setup / training and installed the vacuum with his arm in freezing water. What owner does that. Everyone from the company was great in explaining how the different components of the pool worked when I asked, since we never owned a pool before. I can recommend Xterior Creations without any hesitation.

Xterior did a superb job designing and completing our pool. Jason put the design together and all the rest of the team carried it through. They listened to and respected our desires and concerns, and completed a product we are proud to have and show people. Their attention to detail is noteworthy and it was completed ahead of schedule. Overall great to work with and we have a terrific pool to show for it. Highly recommend Xterior Creations.

We built a pool with Xterior Creations this past summer and would highly recommend them if you’re looking to build a pool! From design to completion everything was great! Jeff was so great with the design and during construction everything was communicated clearly and efficiently. If we had questions they were answered quickly and everyone in general was so friendly! They even finished ahead of schedule. It was a great experience stat to finish and o would definitely recommend!!!

The pool building experience with Xterior Creations is second to none. The reviews speak for themselves. When we decided to install a pool, we knew it was going to be a huge undertaking. The professionals at Xterior Creations made the process that much easier. Most of the time, I have contractors who are never on time, unprofessional, over promise and underdeliver. Not Xterior Creations. They are on point. From the design phase to "pool school", everyone is super professional. Even their subcontractors are great. I would definetly recommend Xterior Creations to anyone thinking about who to hire for their pool building needs.

From start to finish the experience was the easiest pool install. Jason listened to our design ideas. Chris implemented them. All of the sub contractor teams are marvelous. Mayra and Annette are responsive immediately. Top notch customer service.

Jason was a pleasure to work with to design our pool. His attention to detail when listening to what we wanted came through clearly when we saw what he designed. Building the pool was well communicated and on time. I was impressed with the level of communication, which isn't always the case with construction projects. There were a few errors but the way the were quickly acknowledged and made right was also impressive. We love how everything came out and I would build with Xterior again!

Easy 5 out of 5 stars! Xterior Creations is the BEST pool company in town; they definitely stand by their mission statement. Without a doubt, our family made the right decision hiring this company to design/build our pool in our forever home. The staff is EXCEPTIONAL! They understand that for most families, funding a pool is a significant investment and they make sure your pool is their priority. They truly care about their customers, quality-of-work, attention to detail and make every effort to exceed their established reputation for providing the best service/experience.

Our pool building experience from start to finish was zero stress (we completed early!). Each phase in the building process was exciting and fun to watch. We immediately realized we were in good hands. Xterior Creations did a great job keeping us informed of the schedule, any changes in the schedule, setting expectations and the team was ALWAYS available to answer any questions and/or concerns (via email, phone or text). A coordination team member or project manager always answers the phone, never a machine.

5 stars! Exceeds expectations! We contacted several pool builders and really liked the responsiveness and designs that Xteriors came up with. Michael had great ideas and developed a design that was easily approved by both HOAs so we could start building quickly in a new build backyard that was all dirt. Work was completed on or before schedule and the office was great about communicating the schedule so we always knew what was happening and when. Installing a pool is a big investment and Xteriors delivered a pool and spa that turned the dirt yard into a Zen paradise.

First they formed the stairs wrong. After they corrected that they tried to force the wrong railing in. Then the patio they poured cracked along the expantion joints. Now the pool is staining in several places.The pool is only 3 years old. The warranty doesn't cover staining. They must know this.

I'm going to start out by saying I have the right company I'm reviewing here. Although in some aspects I'd like to have forgot the entire experience, I haven't. I waited to publish a review until most of the warranty was up as insurance against possible retribution when things needed fixed under warranty. This review is my opinion/experience. Perhaps things are much better there now, not for us to decide, we're done & have been done with the company.

The design phase was really good/pleasant. Our guy listened & provided a detailed illustration & animation of what we wanted. Both my wife and I had pools built in previous lives. We knew exactly what we wanted & didn't want. There was minimum trying to get us to swallow designs & features pool contractors like to shove in place b/c they're easy/cheap &/or they just do it like that. After this point things started going sideways.

We were told by our sales guy that the owner Dan this & Dan that. 'You can personally call him if something's not right during your build'. Well, b/c of multiple things not going right with his people & his subs, we took up the offer to talk to him about the issues. Guess what, from jump he didn't want to talk to me & when he finally did, he made it clear he wasn't to be bothered, to talk to his staff. Well dude, your staff was the problem hence us trying to talk to you. Oh well.

Having a family-owned / operated biz has pros & cons. A huge con can be when a bad actor is part of the family, the family defends them no matter if they're out of pocket or not. Donna, in our opinion, was biblically rude the majority of the time. Hard to get a call or an email back from her & when we did get to talk to her, she was often condescending & nasty.

Our foreman, who'll remain nameless in this review, was supremely job site absent & fairly incompetent, at least at the time our project was ongoing. He was not on site during some of the major work being done by their subcontractors (like shotcrete & plaster). Thank goodness I was around a lot at the time b/c the job needed someone there to ensure subs weren't doing things that weren't in the design plans... which started to happen a few times during the build. Their subs & I often were communicating with each other on the property, clarifying/confirming things & generally trying to ensure smooth work.

When it was time for startup we basically were left in the blind but what did happen was it ended up being over a week (in summer heat) before they showed up. By then I'd started to add chlorine myself. We were not informed ahead of time that they'd need to come inside for pool hardware internet stuff or that we needed to have certain network info & router ethernet port available etc. Was not smooth but instead a scramble the day of. The kicker of this is I tried to lean-fwd & get this info ahead of time but lady already mentioned chose to lecture on how they'd let us know when it was time vs communicating relevant info that'd helped us & their setup guys once here.

We just were really disappointed in the lack of job project oversight & especially the exceptionally rude treatment we received from a key person there in particular. We had to expend inordinate amounts of time doing our project manager's job & chasing our tail trying to get info out of Xterior. Many others would undoubtably go with them again for more pool work, but we wouldn't based on how our project went.

Our experience with Xterior Creations was seamless and way better than I could have ever imagined. We contacted them after seeing their ad in HomeMag and we got an instant response to our inquiry. Mike G. and his assistant came out to measure our yard and a couple of days later we went into their office to look at his designs. We instantly fell in love. We received 3 quotes after that, and Xterior was the most competitive in their pricing. Their standard options would have been upgrades with the other companies adding on thousands to the cost of the pool. During the time of getting other quotes, I was still in communication with Mike, who was always responsive and thorough with his answers. When I had questions about what Xterior offered versus their competitors, he always thoroughly and patiently answered my questions. His professionalism never waivered, even when I would email him late or on the weekends. I work in a customer service based industry and I refuse to do business with any company that does not prioritize communication and customer service. From the initial contact with Xterior, we could tell that customer service was a priority for Mike and the team. The difference between Xterior and the other 3 companies was very clear.

We paid the deposit early February and our pool was done before Memorial Day. We lost 6 weeks of time because we used a contractor to handle something that was needed to pass inspection. The company was not affiliated with Xterior and we place zero blame on Xterior for the delay. During that time while we waited for the other company, Xterior still checked in on our to ensure that the moment we handled the issue, the inspection could be scheduled so that Xterior could proceed. I have no doubt that our pool would have been done in April had the other company not dropped the ball.

There were different phases of the pool build which required us to have different representatives. We were so impressed by the communication and attention to detail exhibited by every single that handled our pool build at Xterior. I literally have nothing bad to say about this company. Any little issue that we had received prompt responses and solutions. We spent $80k on our pool build, landscape etc. and everything was done to our expectations. If you're in the market, Xterior should be at the top of your list. We have zero regrets. 10000/10 recommend!

Xterior Creations was a great company to use for our inground pool. They were fast and good with communication.

We're very happy with the end results of our pool construction. There was some small hiccups during the construction (like any construction project) but they took care of it. There was good communication and always professional. My kids love it.

From my salesman Mike G. To the construction Foreman Marco, the entire staff was exceptional! Professional, responsive, value for the dollar. Beautiful design. This is the fourth pool I have built in my life. No one else came close

Xterior built our pool in the thick of Covid. That added complications as many experienced with supply chain issues. That said, I’ve had three warranty repair “pop-up” and I want to say we’re pleasantly surprised with their fast response. Anyone can build a pool, but I’m glad that Xterior has stood behind their product. The three separate repairs were all completed within 3 days of my first contact with Xterior. 👍🏽
