My pool was done by Desert Springs approximately 13 yes ago not at this location. I reached out to this location to inquire on a referral for cool decking & was informed that was a service they offered. I provided my contact information & was told that I would receive a call within 24 hours. Design consultant Franco V actually reached out in 3 days. We established 3/16 for him to access what was needed. Franco V stated that he would provide me a call on 3/19/19 to discuss the estimate. I had to text him around 5 as he never contacted me to his text reply an apology & the commitment that he would contact me on Wednesday 3/20/19 Again no communication from him even after I texted him on Wednesday. Today is 4/2/19 no communication from Franco V. I strongly suggest that anyone looking to consider this location for any project reference the reviews & do your homework. Clearly my experience lacked customer service.

I set up an appointment for a quote, and the rep, Christian, no show no called me. I called that day, and he called to say that he had a personal emergency and needed to reschedule a few days later. He then no called no showed me a second time. I called to complain and speak to a manager. The person I spoke to was very nice and apologetic, coming out that afternoon to take measurements which I appreciated. 2 weeks went by, and I didn’t hear a thing so I called to follow up today. The rep mentioned that he didn’t have a way to contact me because Christian deleted me from their system because he was mad that the coworker came out.

Edit to respond to the owner:
I didn't call a third party company, I called Desert Springs. You guys assigned that individual to come out and give a quote. If he is a third party individual, your company is the one that selected him.

This company does not care about their customers. My project was scheduled to be completed two months ago and they do not respond to emails when you have questions only when they want payment, the have caused property Damage at my house and claimed it wasn’t their problem or fault, the project manager belittles me and got very aggressive. Also, my project is missing elements that we were told would happen. I asked to speak to the GM, Robert, multiple times and when I finally was able to; he did not take accountability for his team but instead said his employees were lying because he had no reason to. Honestly this has been the worst experience I have had with any company and I hope anyone in the valley that wants a pool does not go into contract with them.

If I could I’d give them a “0”. The worst customer service in the world.
We ordered our pool remodel in May they started in June and finished the last week of September. What a joke. They fired our super didn’t tell us Said we’d get someone new. Saw him weeks later.
During the design process Franco our designer, told us how much he made, trust me he’s way over paid. He forgot to charge us for the demolition, so I was stuck paying for most of that bill.
When we had problems we called Franco he told us that he didn’t handle problems only design. Really. He must be a great man. Not.
I told him I wanted to pick my own accent tile cause theirs are basic. He told me $10 was what they would pay. So I get the tile and he told me he’d settle up at the end. Guess what he forgot about our conversation. Again they try and stick me.
After our sup left they asked us what Starr had to say. We didn’t know Starr and no one had told us she was customer service interface.
I asked to have the owner call us actually I asked three times. Never spoke with him.
Never received our plans, so when we were asked a question we could not show them what we meant. Franco told us they were his property. Great.
We were a week from plaster finally and then “Starr” said we had to have child proof gates. Great no one ever mentioned that they were required. So we had to pay extra to get a rush job on the gates.
Finally everything is done. Guess what we failed our final inspection.
DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. YOU WILL PAY MORE AND GET LESS AND NOT BE HAPPY.

I recently had my 20 year old pool remodeled and it turned out gorgeous, Desert Springs removed all the plaster, tile, decking and installed a brand new pool within 20 days. I am so happy my pool is ready to go another 20 years. Great service and gets work done fast.

I had gotten a few different bids from other companies, but decided on Desert Springs because it was the best experience starting with the salesman. The design took a few revisions to get right but they were fine with me making changes. The build really went along quite well and smooth. I went with Desert Springs Landscape also, and love my new yard! I would definitely recommend, even to family, go check out their design center!

Desert Springs Pools just completed my pool/landscape and I couldn’t be happier. They finished the project in a timely fashion and were extremely helpful throughout the process. We got a few bids from other builders in town and decided to go with DSP due to the fact that they’ve been doing pools here in town longer than anyone else. I would absolutely recommend them for anyone considering installing a pool or landscape in their yard.

6/15/2013 My wife and I excited about closing on our new home yesterday decided to explore the possibility of adding a pool to our brand new property. We were greeted just fine and politely asked to wait. This was not an issue because we did not have an appointment and they appeared to be very busy. The wife and I just strolled around looking at the pools, spas, and other items that were on display. After 15 minutes or so the lady filling in for the receptionist, who was actually part of the spa sales department, came over and ask if we had any questions. For some reason this lady was very unpleasant (I wish I could remember her name - older brunet). She gave the impression that my wife and I were not welcome in the store. I could not understand because we were not loud, disruptive, or threatening in any manner (the wife thinks she had just lost a sale). I attempted to end our conversation and mention that I would wait for one of the pool designers to assist us and she suggested that we make an appointment because they definitely would not see us today. I asked if there was an issue. She replied, "no." She suggested that we must be misunderstanding each other and asked about my budget. I told her approximately $34k. She suggested we try another company because their entry level was $41. I asked for the general managers business card and, surprise, it was unavailable. Ill make another visit on Monday to share my experience with management.

I write this review to share my experience with the public. I do not think it was right the way my wife and I were treated because our plan budget was a little short. If Desert Springs Pools and Spas are this rude before they get your business, how will they be after you sign a contract and have your money?

I can't comment on their pool building as we never got that far. In fact, I never even had an appointment. Their sales manager Ron canceled the first appointment we had day of, which is no big deal, at least he called to cancel. So we rescheduled the appointment for later in the week. So, I make arrangements and show up at my house promptly 15 minutes prior to our scheduled meeting. An hour goes by, and still no Ron!!! So I call him (Desert Springs Pool and Spa) and he feeds me some lame excuse about how he is just finishing up an appointment at the office. Obvoiusly a lie because if that was the case a courtesy call would have been made to at least tell me he was running late or to reschedule. If this is the kind of service and promptness you can expect if you actually hire them to build a pool - NO THANKS!!! I don't care how cheap they are!!! Buyer beware!

The guys that we have worked with have been nothing but professional. Its such a large expense to put in a pool and they certainly have made it easy for our family. Paul spent a ton of time at our house and created several different revisions to match our desires and budget. Paul the foreman was ALWAYS available to help me with any questions. He also came out regularly to make sure things were going well including prepping for the freeze. Brandon in the office was always helpful and addressed ever issue in a timely manner.

The pool in complete and looks great!!!

    Thank you Desert Springs Pools

Our pool is gorgeous. Every detail is a work of art. The crews worked very hard to complete all aspects of the job in 3 months. These guys all take pride in their work. I cannot thank Marco ( pool supervisor)
enough for his diligent attention to detail in construction. Everyone who helped build this pool is to be commended for their excellent work. Thanks to everyone involved.

RUDE! VERY RUDE! Lack of customer service skills & never return phone calls. NEVER!!

My husband and I have also had a horrible experience with Desert Springs Pools. We have had to explain the plans to every construction crew that has come to our house because the foreman in charge has given them all the wrong plans. We seriously have to go out there every time we see workers and explain everything they planned on doing is not accurate, then draw it out for them to make sure they know what the new plans were supposed to look like. Imagine the frustration of doing that for every crew after you just gave this company $40,000. What's the point of sitting down for an hour with the designer to revise the plans when they are going to just throw them away??

Not to mention we had to call the company two-three times a day every day for two weeks to get the deposit of $2,000 they promised us for our HOA and GO FIGURE we ended up just paying it with our own money because they gave us the run around and I was SICK OF IT!!

I do not and will not recommend this company to anyone. The actual guys who come out and do the work are very nice, very helpful, and do a great job. But the people in charge at the main office are RUDE, extremely RUDE (especially the lady at the front desk) and my husband and I have hated working with them.

My family and I recently moved to Pahrump and wanted to get a pool installed. We looked locally but weren't satisfied with the builders in our area. After deciding to go with a company out of Las Vegas, we chose Desert Springs Pools. Our experience started off with our salesman, Paul. Paul was a lovely man and a lot of help. I could tell he really was genuinely interested in getting us the best look for our backyard. I had some reservations as to the fact that we are in Pahrump and the company is in Las Vegas, but Paul assured us that our pool wouldn't get forgotten because we weren't locals. We signed and waited excitedly to start. There was a bit of delay between when we signed and when the pool actually started, but I was told this is due to permitting and I can understand that. A few days before we started the project, a man named Jason came out to paint our pool on the ground. He informed us he'd be our project superintendant, and offered to answer any questions we might have with regards to our project. He was very helpful, and afterward we got more excited. Two days later a big tractor showed up! it was a bit intimidating to see, but the crew was friendly and very hardworking. They finished digging in two days! I thought it would take longer, but I was pleasantly surprised. Jason informed us that the plumbers would be next, and he didn't disappoint. They plumbed our pool the very next day. There was a slight delay of a day or two before steel, but I was told this was due to scheduling around weather. As soon as they had a clear day, they put the steel in and electrical stuff went in the next day. This post is getting long so I will sum up my experience.
Desert Springs did a fantastic job on our pool. I wish I would have purchased sooner in order to enjoy the pool this summer, but we still have good weather for a bit. I recommend Desert Springs to anyone, especially if you live here in Pahrump as they seem to really understand our concerns with getting "put on the back burner".

Their professionalism and backing their work is sub par. Everything is always someone else's responsibility.

My pool would have been down for over 3 months during the summer after their pool servic broke a coupling on my filter.

Now there's a leak on a threaded coupling that goes into my pump. After a month they finally said. We only warranty our plumbing for 60 days.

I do not recommend this company

Buyer beware. Their proposal to re-plaster my pool was almost twice as expensive as 10 other companies that I met with, for the exact same pool re-plaster work. The cost for the same LED pool light that other companies were charging was approx $1200...that is $300 more than everyone else. . Their proposal also included a $630 fee for a dumpster. No other company charged for a dumpster. That is the cost of doing business....I won't be doing business with them and I highly recommend that others look elsewhere. Who knows what other surprises will appear once the work gets started.

Desert Springs was one of four pool builders/designs that we went to for quotes on building our pool in Red Rock Country Club. Their prices was competitive. Not the lowest. Overweighting price was their attitude. They were completely focused on giving us what WE wanted and not some vision that they deemed design worthy. Even changes that were post-permit approval were not a problem. And, we had a few. They kept us informed during every step of the process. They coordinated every phase of the project. They completed the pool and the landscaping [Desert Springs Landscaping] on time. There were no budget over runs and they completed all the work at the contract price. And, I should add, all of the subcontractors were professional and reliable. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Desert Springs Pools and Spas.

THINK TWICE BEFORE USING THIS COMPANY !! The pool design center is great. Get your ideas from them and then find another company to do your pool. There is NO organization to this company at all. We were promised a pool from start to finish in 2 months. It is almost 3 months and still the pool is not complete.Weeks go by with nobody on the job.
Every step had weeks in between before the next crew would show up.
Our neighbors that have pools from other companies had theirs done in 30 days !!!! They are also very messy and do not clean up ANYTHING till the very end. They broke our sprinkler water system 3 times and never told us. We only realized it after our yard was flooded and water was running down the street. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I don't know how they could be LV #1 Pool company.

We have had a great experience with Desert Springs Pools! From our blank canvas backyard to fully landscaped and a competed pool. Paul designed our pool and from all the quotes and designs we received it was a no brainer to go with him. He listened to our needs, wish list, and budget and delivered everything. Everyone that came to work at our house were professional and trustworthy. I'd hire them all again, in a heartbeat!

Where to start with this review? First off, you won't see many poor reviews of this place because they make you sign a contract saying you won't. Bit of a joke, right? But my experience, and still on going is borderline pathetic. They quoted me 2-3 months to build a pool and some very basic landscaping. I'm now 4.5 months in and still dealing with them daily to try and finish any one aspect of the job. My home is damaged, my pool failed to meet the contract specs, I've been told week after week that things have work orders or will be done next week. The GM, Robert, constantly avoids my phone calls because he knows they are failing at every turn. It was a pandemic and I gave them my business based on promises and more so a contract that they have failed to live up to. Their pricing is on par with everyone else in town, so do yourself a favor and go else where.

Our salesman Al is very disrespectful, condescending, non responsive and has anger issues with his customers. He is not there to help you, but to make a sale for his pocket. Our appointment with Al at Desert Springs pools and Spas on Valley View, was on Saturday July 10, 2021.We spent maybe 2 hours with Al and he said to us at the end of our meeting, “ I thought you said you were ready to sign”! He was angry when I could not decide on a design and now I wanted to think about it. He was also protective of showing us the price. It was like Top Secret. Maybe he thought we were going to steal his pricing. He’s a JOKE! Just so everyone in Las Vegas knows his price for a nice size pool and spa was $76,000 and if we went without the spa it would be $62,000. My husband and I only wanted a little time to make a decision, which would've been the pool and spa. The reason I am writing this review is because no one should ever be treated that way. I requested Al to email me our drawings and he said he would. This was after I called him out at the end of our meeting. I told Al that he was being very disrespectful to me and I felt pressured by him to make a decision. It is now 5 days later and no email of our drawing, I'm not surprised. If you do choose Desert springs pools and spas, just be warned of AL. Choose someone else, maybe you'll have a better experience. I have read the other poor reviews prior to our appointment, but wanted to give them a chance to earn our business. Now looking back at some of these reviews they must be talking about Al because the reviews sounds exactly how we were treated by him. Sad! We will take our business somewhere else.

If you are considering a pool please do not use this company. My wife and I signed a contract Nov 30 2017 to build a pool and spa in our backyard. It is almost June and we still do not have a fully functioning pool/spa. This company is very disorganized. We have had mistake after delay after excuses. We had 4 different superintendents overseeing our project in a 6 month window. What do you think that says about the company? They are asking for the final payment and our water feature isn't even working properly. They overshot the completion date by two months(two prime outdoor months april and may) and have the nerve to ask for full payment. Avoid at all costs. Learn from our expensive mistake.
