Edgar and his crew were awesome! They were prompt and professional. They also communicated very well! I was always informed on who and when workers will arrive. I had them widen my driveway, install my backyard landscape, install a built in bbq grill and put in a pool and spa. We are very happy with finish product! Highly recommend them!

I cannot say enough good things about Edgar, his company, his crew, his sub contractors and the final product! We hired Edgar to do our EXTENSIVE front yard and backyard remodel (landscaping, pool, bbq/pergola, firepit, putting green, outdoor shower, lighting, etc). He put together a comprehensive bid, provided us with a video rendering and provided HOA with the necessary materials to get the project approved through the Design Board, effortlessly. The final product looks amazing...we get daily compliments from neighbors and strangers driving by the property on the transformation. His crew is super clean and respectful...the site never looked messy or unkept and this helped to maintain the good rapport with the HOA. His invoices were always detailed and made sense and what I loved was that there were no surprises. Edgar is an honest, reputable, talented, detail oriented, and skilled contractor. The cherry on top is that he is super nice and very patient. I really appreciated that he would respond to every email, every text, every call immediately...this is so rare in today's business environments. This was a big project and I cannot say enough good things about the end result and my experience with Edgar!

We had signed a contract with another landscape company and after waiting months with no permits and very little response we decided to look elsewhere, and was referred to Distinctive Exteriors. From the first meeting with Edgar I felt comfortable and as the months went on we were amazed at how detail oriented and professional everyone was. Their showroom is beautiful and there are a variety of products to choose from which made it even more exciting. Edgar has been so patient with us making changes throughout the process. Edgar and his team of excellent subs transformed our backyard into an oasis. He created a computer animation for what everything would look like and worked with the HOA to get all approvals. I have built 2 houses and done an extensive remodel on another house and Distinctive Exteriors is the best contractor I have ever worked with. The quality was exceptional and the cost fair. The organization and punctuality of the oroject was excellent. Everything was completed on time and at the cost Edgar quoted. We interviewed four other vendors and felt Edgar had by far the most professional plan and presentation. Edgar worked with us to get it within our budget but not sacrifice the design. We were very impressed with the hard work and work ethic of the team assigned to our home. Edgar did everything he said he would do, when he said he would do it. There were no surprises and no hidden fees. Having worked with a lot of vendors over the years, this is very rare. We are extremely happy with the end result, a beautiful yard.

From the very beginning of our relationship with Edgar Herrera at Distinctive Exteriors and Paul Brozovich at Creative Spa Designs we felt we were well informed as well as comfortable and confident that they and their team members cared about our needs and us being completely satisfied with the end product of paver, landscaping, and lighting design as well as SPA installation in our backyard.

We hired Distinctive Exteriors to build our pool and complete the landscaping for our new construction home, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations.

This was not our first time building a pool for a new home, so we had a good understanding of the design and materials we wanted. Before meeting Edgar, we obtained three quotes from well-known and reputable pool companies in Las Vegas. Edgar was the first contractor who truly understood our vision. His design matched exactly what we were looking for and, in our opinion, looked significantly better than the other proposals we received.

Our meetings with Edgar were always productive. He listened carefully to what we wanted and was very responsive throughout the planning process. His pricing was also significantly more competitive than the other quotes we received for a similar design and scope of work.

Once construction began, the process went smoothly. In several areas, Edgar and his team actually exceeded our expectations. The pool equipment installed was top-of-the-line Pentair, and the service after installation has been exceptional.

For the first month after startup, someone came regularly to help with the pool setup and make sure everything was operating properly. We also have direct communication with Ron, who is extremely knowledgeable about pools and Pentair systems. If we send him a text with a question, he responds almost immediately. We have never experienced this level of post-installation support with a pool project before.

The subcontractor who built the patio and installed the porcelain pavers did a phenomenal job. Communication between Edgar, the supervisors, and the crews was excellent throughout the project. Calls and texts were returned promptly, and any concerns we raised were addressed quickly.

As with any construction project, there are always small items that require adjustment. What impressed us most is that Edgar and his supervisors addressed these items immediately once they were brought to their attention. One of Edgar’s previous clients actually told us this before we hired him—and it proved to be absolutely true.

During construction we also made several changes to the landscaping plan, including requesting more mature trees and palms. Edgar was very accommodating, and the final landscaping turned out even better than we originally envisioned. Our backyard truly went from pure dirt to a beautiful desert-tropical retreat.

Overall, the design, craftsmanship, communication, and service from Distinctive Exteriors were excellent. Based on our experience, we would highly recommend Edgar and his team.
