I don't know about all of them, but this particular one is a nice place to shop 4 tools or plants. And also it's a nice place to occasionally take the grandkids and walk around. Also they have a pond set up with fish and turtles for them to see. Would recommend.

I know I'm not the only one that has experienced this. The owners need to just grab a friend's phone and call the Tropicana Star Nursery or any of them all of them actually and see if you get through. An hour to an hour and a half attempting to get ahold of somebody to make a couple thousand dollar Rock delivery. Very very sad

I really hate to leave a bad review because the variety & prices here are amazing. However, the last 2 times I was in store the plants were crawling with bugs. Both times I brought plants home they were all infested. The 1st time it spread throughout my home & cost me $$$ & months to resolve. The last time was March. This time I quarantined the plants in my garage for over a week. They ended up being infested again, so I replaced soil & did every thing possible to clear them of the bugs. 10 days later (almost dead) I brought them inside, and AGAIN my house became INFESTED worse than last time. It has been 5 months & this week FINALLY I think I cleared my home (+plants) of bugs. I know plants will have insects sometimes, but the infestation these plants have caused in my home is indescribable. Star nursery plants for me =stress, time, money, and a huge headache. I really hope you can look into better control of the insect issue, because I loved shopping @your store :(

Extremely polite on the phone when I called today looking for LILACS. They didn't have but suggested Eastern location! They had several different varieties of these ICONIC flowers, 2 gallon, $39.99! Yes LILACS do grow here in southern Nevada!

BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! If you are a minority you will be treated very poorly! I visited this location for the first time today and I’ve never been in a Star Nursery ever so I was kinda excited but after walking around a bit and getting confused and I asked for help the workers kinda just pointed me in the direction of what I was asking for. There’s no letter’s on the walk ways or numbers and also if the worker’s claimed they were helping other customer’s the customer’s gladly told them to assist me and even then they still didn’t want to. I then started to feel very out of place after gathering all my plants I needed a new wagon for my pots I asked if an employee could assist me with that I should’ve known better he directed me to where to get the new wagon🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️. At this point I’m just ready to go so I leave one at the register and then go run to grab the pots with the new wagon and I’m at checkout now with everything and my register guys name is Gabe he ask’s me how was everything I tell him honestly it could’ve been better I’ve never been here before and you guys aren’t very helpful or too nice. He replies well yea that’s just how it is around here unfortunately but sorry you feel that way wish there was something that I do to could change it. I told him it is you could be a little nicer, you don’t have to be rude and be more helpful Lowe’s has all these item’s another customer already left and stated she was going there so yes there is something you can do. Then he asked if I wanted him to cancel the transaction while we were in the middle of the transaction and he said because I seemed so unhappy so I could go somewhere else. I was so livid so I let him finish and asked for his name and with a smug look he said Gabe said told me his General Manager’s name was Sarah and then even offered to write the corporate number down for me. Mind you I didn’t purchase $30 worth of items I purchased almost $150 worth of house hold plants to be treated like that is horrible. Then I called corporate to make the complaint about the situation and it seemed as if was overlooked which made me not want to support a company that would allow their employees to treat customers that way so I returned everything. When I went in to return the items his manager Sarah had to approve the return and I told her about how he through her name around so freely and after speaking with her for about 7mins I can see why. Yes she apologized and apologized for him but then asked me to shop around and she’ll ring me out, that’s not the point your employees are making your customers feel a dreadful feeling that should’ve be left behind centuries ago the way this situation was handled was distasteful and I really hope another living soul walking on Gods green earth never goes through what I went through or feels how I felt being in that Star Nursery.

Customer service with look down on people attitude (Brian). Can't obviously expect college graduate to work there but manners and respect are basic education. I go there because it's close by my house. No more. I'll drive the extra mile to that West Charleston nursery, where people are a lot nicer and where they have extensive choices and variety of everything.

Great customer service. Couldnt find what we were looking for and the young lady was auick to take us all the way to the lower 40. Lines were short. Made for a pleasant visit to buy gifts for family.

Wide, good variety of plants, the only thing that they lack a specialized section for office plants

(Updated 2/13/22) I've been here numerous times over the years. I love going to this nursery, especially this location! I've bought several different plants and flowers from here and this is where the quality is the best in town! They also have plants here that I never see anywhere else in town.

They have a good selection of plants and trees. The person (Nikki Osborne) at the information booth was very helpful the few times I was there.
I bought a large tree and had it delivered. The tree was pretty rough when I bought it, but it was the only 24 that they had left. Figured I could nurse it back to looking nice over time if it survives delivery and planting. There were a few more broken branches during delivery. The price was fair enough.
I think that Star is probably pretty busy with commercial work and for the retail customer, you won't get much hand holding. They have a very good selection of supplies.
Don't bother calling. They won't answer.

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Good selection of indoor and outdoor plants. This Star Nursery has a wall of landscapers business cards to help customers. Easy access location with plenty of parking.

Very helpful but they did not have my product. So, they recommended two good places! 5 stars!

When employees go above and beyond, they deserve recognition.

I recently visited this Star Nursery location and I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional customer service I received. I had previously purchased a total of 8 Italian Cypress and a dozen more plants from this location. 1 of the tree died and I was concerned the others won't survive. Manager Faton took the time to understand my gardening needs and offered tailored advice on how to care for my Italian Cypress trees.

What stood out the most was his extensive knowledge about the tree. He provided insightful tips on care and maintenance, which made me feel confident that the rest will survive going forward as long as I follow his instructions. He was patient, kind, friendly and truly cared about my concerns and he answered all my questions and even offered suggestions.

Thank you Faton for the exceptional service. I will continue to go to this location for my gardening needs.

I love this place!! Every single time I go in, I’m greeted by a bunch of friendly and knowledgeable people!! Everyone is always so eager to help! Today I spoke with Christian and his colleagues about my roses which are totally stressed. Not only did he tell me I was over watering, he also walked me back inside to show me where the burlap was located so I can cover them from the intense sun! A visit wouldn't be complete without a quick stop by the manager Faton who’s also super helpful! These guys make my day! Thank You!!!!

I love visiting nurseries. We recently moved and I need a ton of plants. It was so refreshing to meet someone not only willing to help yet so knowledgeable. Five stars for Austin.

I always get my plant food @ Star Nursery because they carry the BEST PLANT FOOD EVER!!! DR.BENSON'S natural
mix.The staff are also really wonderful the new managers(at least they are new to me) Anthony and Destiny are super helpful and a new staff member I just meet Kim, was very knowledgeable and  informative about my plant purchases. Which I always appreciate since I'm always trying to learn more about cactus and succulents for our home. I do miss Sara whom I was told that she is now at the new Cheyenne location.?? I think?Daniel and Charlie and Kim are awesome .So the new staff are great and just as helpful even the carry out staff !!!! We bought new cactus for the back yard. Looking forward to them grow.

I’m a big fan of stars nursery and usually every location is helpful and knowledgeable but this is the worst location. Came in looking for a specific plant and size, the yard workers were very helpful in locating what I was looking for and directed me to the people who could answer some of my questions after going to two other locations looking for this plant. The manager Sarah was dismissive and proceeded to offload her work onto her cashiers who had lines already making it seem that helping me would be an inconvenience that her cashier would deal with for her. As a customer it was disheartening the way she talked at her cashier. Definitely would try to go to other locations.

Star Nursery offers a good selection of plants at reasonable prices, but be careful to double-check discounts and pricing at the register, as signage can be misleading and you may not receive the expected discount at checkout. Recommend verifying all prices before paying to avoid surprises and ensure a fair transaction as staff is not paying attention and also they are not fixing this kind of issue when a customer is giving them the information like they will try to take advantage of this misleading

Been here a few times and always look for Cristian. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and seems to genuinely enjoy his job. So, we make sure to find him when we arrive, as he’s a wealth of information, even surpassing the capabilities of any AI, especially since he’s a human being. I much prefer speaking with him than using AI chat, although it can be helpful occasionally. Today, we met Brain at the end of our visit. He noticed that our tree hadn’t been delivered and promptly got a forklift to bring it out directly. In my humble opinion, this staff is far superior to our regular store on Charleston. This is becoming our go-to store lately and may even become our permanent store, despite the
    extra distance.

I have a no solicitation sign clearly displayed and they left a flyer on my front door.
