I always find the greatest deals at Star Nursery. Whether it be for plants, fertilizer, soil, planters, or spray for pests, I always find what I need here for a good price. The staff is usually friendly and knowledgeable.

I purchased a Xmas tree 2 days ago. The price on the tag was $49.88 but I was charged $69.88. I came back today expecting a refund for the difference instead the manager blamed me for the issue. He told me that the price is $69.88 and that there was a sign even though the price on the tag clearly showed $49.88. He refused to issue me the difference and said that I should have came back the same day to fix the issue. The purchased was only 2 days ago. That's the customer service I received.

Start Nursery is always a great place to not only buy plants, flowers and trees, but also to get ideas on how to landscape your yard. Lots of friendly and knowledgeable employees.

It's a value plant nursery with wide selection of desert plants, succulents, indoor plant, flowers, herbs, and gardener's tools. They have weekly sales to watch for. Some of their plants are not cared for and some stores like w. Tropicana store don't honor company return n exchange policy. If quality and return policy is important to you, it's better to deal with homedepot n Lowe's.

We were at Star Nursery today and daughter was really upset she stepped on a snail and crushed its shell. The man at the info booth was extremely kind and knowledgeable, came around to help, while in the pouring rain.

Good selection and quality. Convenient locations throughout city. Home Depot has better pricing on plants, when you can find what you are looking for.... And wspecially when HD has sales.

Cons: High prices. Understaffed. Long lines at cashier. Basically, a self service yard.

I always default back to Star Nursery when I'm looking for annuals or established plants in my area. They are usually cheaper than another large nursery and they have less pests than the big box stores. If I have a question, it gets answered and most of the time I will get advice that works. It's a nice clean store that has a good selection of plants and all the items needed for your irrigation system.

I was shopping and really needed help when an employee approached me to inquire if he could be of service. Wow it was right on time! I knew nothing about selecting desert plants and he was full of knowledge. We finished making selections I was satisfied with my purchase and he was off to help the next customer. That's what I'm talking about!!!!👍🏽

We always love coming in to the Tropicana location and seeing what plants they have as they have a pretty good selection. Would like to see them carry more, and have more mature trees/plants. Everyone has been friendly, but sometimes it is hard to find staff for help.

We have purchased our Christmas trees here the last 2 years and had a great experience, always! The trees in 2019 were more expensive, but if you paid attention to the news, that was felt across all Christmas tree suppliers due to a shortage.

Absolutely terrible customer service. They are rude and can't find my paperwork on a rock delivery. And they charged $80 for a delivery, outrageous! Was put on hold for 15 with no apology, very rude. I said, "no apology" and she finally and reluctantly said we're sorry. Incredible! Take your business elsewhere. We will not be going back there.

We love Star Nursery! The people were so helpful. They helped us pick the best trees for our yard. They delivered them as promised. When one tree was having difficulty after transplant, they recommended vitamins that did the trick. The senior discount is pretty great too!

This place always has different plants in stock, so it's fun to come all different times of year just to see what's there and blooming. They even ran a sale and we missed it by a few days and gave us the sale price still because we took pictures. Super nice of the staff, and very helpful!

I went to buy rock pebbles for my lawn, I bought a 1000lb. The employee not only did not help but also refused to allow me to use one of there shovels. He told I had to buy one of there’s.

I see several reviews about staff being unhelpful or not being friendly but I honestly don’t know what these people are talking about. I was so impressed with how helpful and friendly everyone was, as well as their selection of plants - so many! And they all looked so healthy. Plus the prices?! I mean....I’ll be back like probably tomorrow to buy out your entire house plants section thank you very much

My family and I have been coming here for years at Christmas time to purchase our tree. They always HAD beautiful 5 to 7 foot Douglas Fur trees at low prices (I think the prices went up this year. They used to be $24.98 and now they are $29.98). Our tree was always at least 7 feet tall and fresh. This year, all of the trees were 5 1/2 to 6 feet max (even though the sign said 5 to 7 foot nothing was close to 7 foot). Unfortunately, my husband works over 15 hours a day during this time of the year and this was the only time we had to get the tree so we did not have time to search around. So we purchased one that looked the freshest out of what they had in stock. It was short but we decided just to put it on top of something to make it look taller. We put the tree up yesterday and we were waiting until today to put up lights and decorations (waiting for branches to fall a little) but when we woke up this morning the branches have not fallen much and the needles were dry and falling off! We are not even going to put lights on it this year, fearing it may catch on fire. So disappointed. At $30, it is still probably the cheapest in town but I would have rather paid more to get a better looking tree like in previous years. We will not be coming back here again.

I've been in here when it's slim pickings for indoor plants and then there are days like today where they were busting at the seams with indoor plants. I enjoy days like today. The quality is hit and miss sometimes with the indoor plants but I've been happy with mostly everything. The outdoor gardening selection is really nice. I haven't had too many interactions with the staff but the two employees that rang my purchase today were friendly and pleasant.......

the worst manager I've ever had, I've been using that company for over 20 years and I've never had any problems, but with this woman (REYNA) there are big problems. She's rude, unhelpful, she abuse her employees. I just don't know what dress code she's wearing. Totally unprofessional as a manager.

Bought a fruit tree and they refuse to return my money back to my account!!!!
They are scammers!
When you are going to buy I was told if anytime you change your mind we return the item in 30 days and return the money back to your account.
When I was going to return the item “Sarah store manager “ was saying I can give you just store credit” she is not a business manager!!
