I’ve purchased a full cord of seasoned split firewood (mixed) from First Choice this year and last. Awesome prices, quality seasoned wood, and the employees do a great job loading my trailer for me.

I highly recommend to everyone in need of firewood. My neighbors have been using them much longer than I, and they have zero complaints.

Excellent service! We had @6 trees cleaned up. They did a superb job! They cleaned up all the dead branches and pricked up everything, looked like they were never here. Prompt professional service at a fair price. Highly recommend.

They did our tree trimming for our HOA.
FCTS is very well priced and they do a good job. I would just take a photo and document every tree they should do especially if doing a large job so you have record of what is to be chopped. Other than that we will use them again.

I have used these guys on a couple of occasions. We had to have a tree removed and a couple of trees restaked. The tree in front of my house was leaning and I was afraid I would lose it or it would grow incorrectly. Ian got it staked and trimmed to ensure it will grow correctly… something the folks who planted it failed to do. My tree already looks much healthier and happier! 😊
Ian is the project coordinator and is excellent. He goes out of his way to help you! This a reflection of the company itself I believe. He actually communicates with you and does what he says he will he will do. All work was done on schedule, efficiently and done right!

Repeadily fails to service our section of the community every 4 weeks as told by their office even after numerous complaints. They skip it because it's on the outside where no one can see it except the 20 residents that live in this area. May 1st was the last time. There are bushes that cover over half of the walkways.
New photos from today, 10-12-25 as you can tell neglected landscape, trees hitting the building last maintenance performed 8-28-25. Called them because dog waste can was full, two weeks later still full. Obviously no supervisors working with crew.

I had the absolute best experience with First Choice Tree Service! Super professional, great customer service and they did a fantastic job removing four huge palm trees and a large dead tree in the front of our home. The cleanup was so good that you didn’t even know that trees were there before. I can’t wait to contact them again to plant new trees in the Fall.

First Choice Tree Service is a top notch company. Had to remove a dying Ash tree today. We planted it 18 year ago the 1st year we moved into our house. It was sad watching it come down. But First Choice tree service did a great job taking her down. No damage to my house or yard. And cleaned up all the mess. Thank you guys so much.

I saw a recommendation from a neighborhood FB group after the recent tornado like winds. They said “First Choice all day”. I have to agree. I called a couple others I believe tried to take advantage of me. Ian was a great communicator. I sent pics and he came to view for him self. Gave me a fair quote to remove a stump and 4 very decent size trees that were beautiful but the roots were causing damage to my property. He got me scheduled within a couple days. The crew was safe, efficient, friendly, cleaned up everything, completed the job faster than planned and even help me with some rose bushes. I was very upset to see my beautiful trees go that were planted when we moved in and just as old as my youngest . I showed a picture of something I might like to do with piece of the tree and they obliged in leaving me more than enough carefully cut slivers to make into mementos with my kids. I really can’t say enough great things about the company, Ian, and his hard working crew! Ian has gone above and beyond with recommendations as well to help me with my circumstances. It’s wonderful when you find great service and good people like this! If I ever need their services again I would not hesitate to call my First Choice!

Had our tree cut down and they do a fantastic job cleaning up afterwards. They were careful in their work and I couldn’t tell there was a tree there as they ground the trunk down and made sure the water drip system was sealed too! Price was reasonable and were very happy with their work!

Very pleasant experience working with First Choice Tree Service. We live in Hawaii and our property in Las Vegas needed a pretty good sized tree removed. Phone calls, texts ane e-mails were quickly addressed and pleasant even when the first scheduled day for removal had to be rescheduled due to weather. Price was fair and work was quick and clean. Great service at the Rockery, order taker and the driver who delivered the 3 tons of rock to my house. My issue is if you order 3 Tons of Rock you should get only rock. My 3 tons was 25-30% fine dirt. 1/2 inch rock Mohave Gold should be 1/2 inch not minuscule 1/16 of inch rock or even smaller. If I pay for rock, a certain size I should get what I paid for, neighbors saw how much dirt was in the rock mix, they were surprised and disappointed as I was. I purchased the same rock from here 2 years ago for the back yard and it was not this poor of quality. I will try Vistana rockery next time even if it’s more expensive. Buyer beware!

The customer service is superior. I bought a Christmas tree today. They did a fresh cut, wrapped it in a tree bag, loaded it in my car, and tied it all down for us. They were so helpful, and kind.

I have been coming here for a while and brandy has made rude comments on several occasion I would not recommend interacting with her. The other staff members have been nice however her bad attitude and disregard for customers is unprofessional to say the least

My experience was great as usual. Friendly worker named Shelby help me pick out a perfect little tree. Then she took the time to write down some directions for it's care so I wouldn't kill it!

We have frequented this garden/nursery store on Blue Diamond Rd. It has a great selection of pottery, and decorative rock/ flagstone. Lots of various desert plants to choose from and other indoor plants too.
Parking is very accessible. They can deliver for a fee, landscaping materials if required or you can pick up at the store itself.
Love to shop here for our outdoor yard needs.

Blue Diamond Star Nursery Rock Yard people are THIEVES. Watch out when they are getting your initial gross weight on their scale. They will measure your weight without the driver in the car then after you get your materials like flagstone, and drive back to the scale, they will add your body weight to the total gross. Good thing I caught them after 2 trips and got my refund. They seemed so casual about it like its a normal thing. I feel it happens to unsuspecting customers all the time. Be very cautious should you need anything from this place. Ask them about it also. If the initial weight is with your body weight or not. Believe me, they are so fast that you will not even notice it. Manager said sorry when he gave the refund. I asked him what their system was but he just basically shrugged his shoulders. Said they got a system. Yeah, a system to steal money from people by being quick on their hands. Sticky fingers encouraged by the manager himself.

Great trees! Sale prices. They cut 1/2 an inch off the trunk for us so it will soak up the water in the pot at home. They wrapped it up and tied it to the top of our SUV. Very kind, very helpful and a great experience!

There's some employees in this store that i have no idea how they got a job. I came in with my sister to pick up some supplies and because i saw a deal in their ***WEEKLY AD*** last week(4/10) for a 7.99 watering can and checked today that they still had the deal in their new **WEEKLY AD**(4/11). My sister went to ask where the cans were, and the lady who several other reviews have named already, Brandy, gave us a convoluted excuse that the ***WEEKLY AD*** ended yesterday, and would start again tomorrow. But my sister brought up the ad from their website and showed that it was already out, and it says the deal is valid until 4-17. It DOES NOT say theres a start to the deals, because its A *****WEEKLY AD***** it doesnt have a start date, its valid thru the week. She continued to argue that the ad is not out and will be tomorrow. Sadly i dont think she knows what weekly means. But then she finally said she would just "honor" the previous weeks deal, as if it wasnt going to come out tomorrow. i then walked out to the garden center and started talking to another employee who said the new ad DID come out today. She followed us out and yelled from behind us at the employee " NO it comes out tomorrow". He literally said "wait, you sure?". I dont know why she lies about this, as she apparently has done this to multiple other people per the reviews. I also asked someone if they had bagged compost and they told me that doesnt exist, you have to make it at home. Then i find manure in front of their store in a bag very clearly labeled "FULLY COMPOSTED MANURE". Even if my terminology was different, its definitely a good second option. why couldnt he just recommend me that? Why did i have to get a condescending incorrect comment? Annoying.

Just had the best customer service experience here. I went in and a young man helped me find exactly what I needed, did the math to figure out how much of a product I needed, carried items to the register and helped me load the car. I will shop here again just for the level of polite patient service you get!

Really great place for all of your back yard needs. It is fun to bring your kids to watch the turtles they have in the pond. They also have an amazing variety of hats...

My order was delivered in the wrong area giving us extra work for us to shovel it and move it to the correct area. Never got the phone call to verify delivery or anything like they said. Very disappointed specially after wording exactly where i wanted the gravel and sand to be divered. When i called the nursery they said they could come back and move it for an extra $150 when that was no fault of my own.
