Large nursery at back of building w/ large selection of outdoor plants looks neat & clean. A metal stand in front of each group of plants carries a label w/ the plant name, general information about the plant & regular price as well as special sale price. Plants look healthy & well cared for. Didn't see any staff outside who could offer any customer assistance. Inside a huge building are aisles of planting supplies, tools & anything plant related. There's a good selection of indoor plants also. The place is organized & clean. Staff at check out was fast & friendly. Parking lot w/ plenty of free parking. I didn't see any shopping carts but would be nice if they could provide regular shopping carts. They do have the flat plant carts & red wagons but doesn't look like they have enough for all the customers. I had to hand-carry three 6-gallon pots from out back into the building to pay for them.

I came in today for some advice on my cypress trees that are dying. The young man at the register suggested I talk to James and for what it is worth, this man brightened my day in so many more ways than one. Not only did he take his time explaining what my needs were, he made me feel like we were old friends. His customer service was 100-star worthy but google only lets me leave 5.

Amazing!! What makes it so enjoyable is the staff! they are so knowledgeable and happy and very helpful. Thank you!!

CAREFUL WITH THIS PLACE

This place is the most bizarre & full of scams in all the West. Today I went because I received a flyer in the mail 2 days ago.
This flyer gave me prices/coupons. I asked an employee inside about the discounts and he told me "not today, but tomorrow the flyer should have come out. Since it was out wrong, they will HONOR the price " , then the cashier played stupid the whole time and told me that it was actually the mailman's fault!!! AND LIED AND LIED saying that he gave the discount but he charged full price!

We called the manager over, (big white lady with sunglasses) also played around and told me that the flyer is supposed be out in 2 weeks and that she don't care!!!!!!!

So what is this WHAT KIND OF SCAM AND FALSE ADVERTISING IS THIS!!!???
This place should be fined for false advertising.
Disgusting costumer service.
Worst store in LAS VEGAS NEVADA.
And I will continue writing feedback about this scam store in all the possible platforms.
Also they can care less, they have NOT tried to contact me at all!

I was SOOO happy to see that MARCO has returned as the Manager of this location. He is exceptional. I have been a customer of this location since moving here just over 4 years ago. It has been my experience that Marco fosters a friendly working environment where the employees enjoy helping the customers. They seem empowered to do their jobs freely. For a period of time, he was relocated to other Star locations. There was a noticeable change in the management at this location while he was away. The manager was rude and not interested in helping customers. Recently, I went to a big box garden center because I thought I might receive better service. Seeing the return of Marco to Blue Diamond will keep me a customer at this location. I have to make special mention of Mary & Kim for their genuine kindness and great information for all of the plants I have purchased. They are truly great examples of wonderful people who care about their customers.

Lot of plants flowers and trees to pick from staff very friendly everything is very organized, huge selection, my landscaping project will be awesome now prices cheaper than home depot lot of native to nevafa plants and cactus

Prices are a little higher than your usual Home Depot or Lowes but the selection is much higher. Very knowledgeable staff. They can tell you every plant that is in their inventory. Would recommend if you're searching for choices.

When I walked in and asked the cashier who to talk to for help identifying a plant., she laughed (not in a good way) and directed me to another employee. He was friendly and identified the plant quickly. We walked back to where they had some small plants available. I asked if there were larger versions available in another location. He said "let me check the computer" then it got weird. While on the way (presumably) to check, he stopped to chat with a younger female coworker about his car while I waited. And waited. Then they walked away and never returned. I left and called the Tropicana location, who never picked up the phone, though I called back twice. Ended up driving across town to Moon Valley, who got a $1200 sale.

I never use this company but was recently ran off the road by one of their truck drivers.. and to top it off, no one will take mycalls to report the driver even though he tried to use his truck as a weapon and almost caused a huge accident.

Eric S is a superstar! I have been there twice this week and he has been extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient while I was deciding what I wanted to buy! I was so incredibly appreciative for his awesome assistance!

We stopped by last weekend to look at some options for our side yard/dog run area. The assistant manager, Eric S., was super helpful and went the extras mile to explain options, pros and cons, and tips for determining amount and types of materials needed. Thank you Eric!

Every plant I've gotten from them (and cared for properly myself) is still going strong. I always get good service and their prices are sensible.

Love this nursery! My fave in LV. Excellent plant variety offerings. ❤️ They have a plastic pot recycle program (see pic.) Bring one back, they'll credit you. Need one under a gallon for repotting? They're free! 😀 Well done, Star.

Don’t use Star nursery if you want to “self-load” rock.
In the past, I’ve gotten rock several times from Star. You weigh empty, Loaded rock in the bed of my pickup, weight out and leave.- Pretty simple.
I went last Friday, waited in line for 30 minutes and was told they no longer allow “self loading” of landscaping rock. You can either buy bags of rock, or you can load up buckets and place buckets into the bed of your truck (what is the difference?) or you can let them dump rock into your truck bed.
I have a new truck and didn’t want loads of rocks free-falling into the bed of my truck. Mind you, they aren’t responsible for any damage.
I called, bedrock landscaping and they allow “self loading”, go there instead.

Stopped by here to pick up some plants for our front yard.
Jose helped us out and was great! He loaded all the plants, was friendly, easy to work with and made the entire experience very effortless!

Choosing my very first Christmas tree couldn't have been more enjoyable. With patience of a saint, Marco listened to my but..., what if..., is it?...nope not that one...well maybe... Jesus was right there giving me every view of each tree I pondered. Of course, ya gotta love a female's perspective like Erica's!
Last but not at all least, Tanner and Ryan prepared my tree for travel and even put on my tree stand!! They chuckled with my tree selfies and low and behold find out Tanner went to middle school where I was his librarian. *sigh*
The whole team truly made my experience special and for that I am most grateful. Thank you STAR Nursery on Blue Diamond.

Had great prices and a wide variety . I loved the pond as well the turtles (sliders)come right up to you 🐢 ❤️ The employees were very helpful loading up my car . I definitely recommend 10/10

My experience here at the blue Diamond location was truly an experience, my husband and I were already excited to gather a few plants for our home but we had little knowledge on how to attend to each individual plant but with extreme help and patience from Yamauni we gain so much information! her energy is so amazing , she truly took her time to assist us even tho she had a lot of things to do not only was she a great help to us but I also noticed she’s a big help to all including her peers . It’s truly rare to feel positive energy from one who loves their job and all duties that come with it she handles it with such grace . I hope this review does not go unnoticed to higher reps and

This is a great beautiful place. James at the information center was so helpful. I highly recommend this place. They even have a cute hummingbird names pronce that hangs out.
