Wish I could put 0 stars, but am unable to do so. I am experiencing the same issues as Mr. Motley. It’s taken weeks for this ‘company’ to get back to us after promising via phone calls that they would come the next day, week, etc. We’re supposed to arrive today at noon and as of 1:36 have not shown up nor have they contacted us. Called the number listed and went straight to voicemail. Quite ridiculous considering the claims made in their response to Mr. Motley’s review. Of course he would decline their offer to make the situation right because he knew it was probably another loose promise and he figured it would probably take them just as long to come out and make the situation right. Clearly they were trying to damage control since it was a negative (justified) review. Just as it was said, it shouldn’t take a complaint to have good business practice. Would not recommend this company at all to anyone for any matter. Pick any other company and you’ll save yourself a big headache and constant phone tag and unfulfilled promises.

Nelzen and his team are reliable, communicative and efficient. They made light work of what I thought was a challenging project. I would highly recommend A-Z Landscaping for your next project. You will be happy you did.

I had a major leak in my backyard, and my previous landscaping company would not come out and fix. I called A-Z, and they sent someone out the same day and fixed everything. Very professional and fast. I'll be calling them soon to redesign my backyard!

Called several times and was promised a call back. This company was called due to the positive ratings. The services failed to return calls and failed to open a scheduled day as given with first contact. The high rating given is a far cry from the actual facts of poor business practices.

Update: yes I did receive a call back finally a day later after poor review. But I had already waited two days and scheduled different company. It shouldn't take a complaint for good business compliance

Great experience with crew from A-Z. On time, professional and friendly. Did a much needed trimming and cleanup of existing plants and shrubs. Trimmed a tree that had some dead branches. Gave advise and suggestions to keep things healthy and growing!
This is my third time and will definitely call them again. Strong recommendation

A to Z did work in my backyard and my front year. IT was only dirt rocks and two huge palm trees in back. They removed the palms, added sprinkler and drip irrigation, planted about 1000 squared feet of grass, (6) Japanese blueberry trees and about 24 plants. A year later it still looks great. I had them back to do more irrigation and planting in my front yard. Always a good value and good work as well - would have them back for sure!

I had a very painful process of getting my large cleanup project done, in which they broke irrigation lines, flooded parts of my property and even left me without water in my house a few times. However that isn't even the primary reason for the poor review. The worst part is that they promised to come back and get my irrigation in order (part of which they broke), but instead didn't show for multiple scheduled appointments and never returned any calls or texts. In the meantime I had no water to much of my landscaping in the middle of summer. Extremely unprofessional and untrustworthy.

Great experience with A to Z Landscaping! I am thrilled with how incredible our backyard looks!. Nelson, Fernando and Frank were professional, friendly and on time. They removed all grass, planted a large tree, set up irrigation, installed a drain, and placed pavers! Our backyard has been transformed! And our dogs are loving it too!

I received the best quality work for my money at a great price. They where responsive, on time, and Professional throughout the whole process. Thank you so much.

Would never use them I'm literally watching them weed wack weeds instead of removing them , wow how lazy can you be I'd give zero stars if I could.

WARNING DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY!!! I've paid them $150 deposit, I had to remind them to give me a receipt. second they kept on changing the date on when they were working on my yard. after the fourth reschedule I just ask for my deposit back, he keep on telling yes but never did and NOW he's ignoring my call / text / and email! this is not a joke, I have recording on my Ring doorbell. people please careful this is a non trusting company.

I paid JTB $60,000.00 in full for their services per the contract to renovate my backyard.
JTB deliberately did not pay SITE ONE (the material provider) knowing full well that they would seek payment by putting a lien on my property, which they did in the amount above $15,000.00.
SITE ONE had mailed me a PRE LEIN notice when the work began on my property. When I asked JTB about the lein they assured me it was common practice and not to worry about it. I have emails, texts and recorded conversations with them confirming this.
I have no reason to believe JTB had any intention of paying the materials supplier. All of my phone calls, texts and emails were responded with LIES from Jon, Walter and Yessinia or just not responded to at all.
I believe the only reason JTB paid SITE ONE is the fact that SITE ONE had the means to hire an attorney and sue JTB for the money owed to them. Also, I am not the only JTB client that they treated like this. You can read multiple YELP, FACEBOOK and GOOGLE reviews with people complaining about the same situation.
JTB is the type of contractors people warn you about. Completely dishonest with no empathy for their clients. Hard to believe they are still in business and still have a contractors license.
One other thing I would like to mention is that prior to the job being finished, the owner Jon came to my property to collect payment. When I pointed out the jobs that needed completion he told me I was nitpicking, became angry, cursed at me and also threatened to "punch my teeth out" I have iPhone and Ring camera videos to prove it.

They made an appointment for the morning and never showed up or called. Definitely would not recommend this company for any work.

I hired JTB Landscapers a few months ago expecting it to take weeks for my service to get done but instead it seemed like he had his whole crew out there I was surprised by the amount of professionalism and attention to detail they put into their work thank you so much JTB for all of your hard work.

***CUSTOMERS BEWARE*** We performed services on one of their trucks and wrote us a a fraudulent check. They refuse to pay. This business will scam you. Do not trust them.
